Abstract

Pertanian merupakan salah satu sektor penting dalam mencukupi kebutuhan pangan bagi suatu negara. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu permasalahan seputar pertanian semakin meningkat sehingga dapat menjadi ancaman ketahanan pangan suatu negara. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh petani di Indonesia khususnya di daerah pedesaan adalah rendahnya informasi dan pengetahuan yang petani dapatkan mengenai teknologi terutama dalam bidang pertanian. Dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman petani mengenai teknologi, pengembangan aplikasi mobile menjadi salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan. Perancangan desain aplikasi mobile harus memperhatikan kebutuhan pengguna agar aplikasi yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan harapan pengguna. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan aplikasi “Rumah Tani” ini adalah Design Thinking. Dengan menggunakan metode tersebut penelitian ini menggali permasalahan yang dihadapi pengguna, sudut pandang pengguna, mengidentifikasi permasalahan, menciptakan sebuah solusi, serta menguji prototipe dari aplikasi ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan metode design thinking dapat menghasilkan UI/UX yang lebih responsif, dan berfokus pada pengguna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem absensi pegawai universitas berbasis web yang memanfaatkan teknologi GPS (Global Positioning System) sebagai metode verifikasi lokasi. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mempermudah proses absensi pegawai yang dapat dilakukan secara otomatis dan akurat berdasarkan lokasi geografis. Penggunaan GPS memungkinkan pengawasan yang lebih efektif terhadap kehadiran pegawai, memastikan bahwa absensi dilakukan hanya ketika pegawai berada di area yang telah ditentukan, seperti area kampus. Sistem ini terdiri dari aplikasi berbasis web yang terintegrasi dengan perangkat GPS pada smartphone pegawai, serta database yang menyimpan data absensi dan lokasi secara real-time. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem ini, manajemen kehadiran pegawai dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efisien, mengurangi manipulasi absensi, dan meningkatkan transparansi serta akuntabilitas di lingkungan universitas.

Abstract

Background:  Internship is one of the programs implemented to connect vocational schools with the working world. Working readiness is the ability to carry out or complete in accordance with the predetermined conditions. In this case, this research was carried out to: (1) know the description of internships carried out by vocational school students; (2) know the description of the working readiness of students after participating in internship activities; and (3) know the effect of internship on working readiness of final year students in building information modelling design at SMKN 1 Cilaku.Methods: There are two variables studied in this research, including industrial work practices (X) and work readiness (Y). The research method used in this research is a quantitative method, while in order to answer the problem, the authors used a trend test and simple linear regression analysis. Furthermore, the data collection was done using questionnaires with a Likert scale.Results: Based on the findings and discussion, (1) internship outcomes have a tendency of quite decent with an average score of 79%, (2) working readiness outcomes have a tendency of quite decent with an average score of 79%, and (3) internship on working readiness have a positive and significant influence and the influence of internship on working readiness by 42%.Conclusion: It can be concluded that the implementation of industrial work practices in Cilaku State Vocational School 1 students has a tendency to be in the sufficient category, class student work readiness is in the sufficient category, and industrial work practices have a positive influence on student work readiness. In other words, students are quite ready to enter the world of work.

Abstract

Background: The learning process requires learning media components, one of which is to achieve the expected results. More interactive learning media was created to suit current conditions and accomplish this goal. In this case, the researcher designed and implemented a type of video-based learning media using the Videoscribe program in the Water Resources Development Course to increase students' understanding and mastery of Irrigation Buildings.Methods: The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) and uses the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The subjects involved in this research were 3 experts for testing media aspects and independent aspects. The results of the validation by three experts obtained very good criteria. The research, it was carried out on students of the Class of 2020 Building Engineering Education Study Program FPTK UPI by holding an initial test, 3 treatment meetings, and a final test.Result: The research results show that: (1) The feasibility of Videoscribe learning media is included in the Very Good category. (2) There is an increase in student learning outcomes after being given treatment in terms of the average N-Gain value in the medium category.Conclusion: The feasibility of videoscribe media in the Water Resources Development Course can be said to be feasible to implement, seen from the learning outcomes, students experience increased learning outcomes.

Abstract

Allegory represents an extended figurative construction in which narrative elements—characters, actions, events, and symbolic structures—encode meanings beyond their literal level. In electronic news reporting, allegory may be used to simplify complex issues, frame institutional identity, and convey ideological nuances through symbolic narratives. This study aims to develop a Python-based prototype capable of detecting allegorical expressions in electronic news texts and analyzing their discursive implications through a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) perspective. The research integrates text preprocessing, narrative pattern recognition, symbolic cue extraction, and lexical-semantic analysis to identify indicators of allegorical structures. The corpus consists of online news articles related to institutional coverage published between 2020–2025. The CDA framework, particularly Fairclough’s three-dimensional model, is employed to interpret the ideological and discursive functions of allegory. The prototype demonstrates preliminary accuracy in detecting allegorical patterns, particularly narrative sequences that portray institutions metaphorically as agents, guardians, vessels, or journeys. Findings indicate that allegory functions not merely as a stylistic device but as a discursive strategy to construct institutional identity, reinforce legitimacy, and shape public perception. The study contributes theoretically to discourse linguistics and figurative language analysis, and practically by providing a computational tool for identifying allegory in news media.

Abstract

AbstractRecent advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology have yet to fully address fundamental challenges in academic writing within the context of higher education. Most existing systems remain focused on surface-level corrections, offering limited support for students struggling to construct logical arguments, organize ideas coherently, and adhere to the structural conventions of academic discourse. This study aims to analyze and map students’ academic writing proficiency as a foundation for developing AI-based learning systems that are responsive to actual needs in higher education. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through a closed-ended online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The instrument was designed based on five key dimensions: writing structure, language proficiency, argumentation and logic, referencing, and technical skills, using a 5-point Likert scale. A total of 132 final-year students from various Indonesian universities—particularly those in construction-related disciplines—participated in the study. Contextual analysis was conducted based on study programs, and data validity was enhanced through triangulation. The findings reveal that while most students fall within the “competent” category, notable deficiencies remain in language mastery and logical argumentation, preventing many from reaching a “highly competent” level. These results highlight persistent gaps in academic literacy that necessitate innovative learning interventions. The development of AI-assisted systems capable of delivering both technical and conceptual feedback is therefore essential to improving the quality of student academic writing. Further research is recommended to design an integrated AI-based academic writing platform and to expand the study population across institutions to strengthen the generalizability of the findings. AbstrakSaat ini, kemajuan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan tinggi belum sepenuhnya mampu menjawab tantangan mendasar dalam hal penulisan akademik mahasiswa. Banyak sistem yang tersedia masih berfokus pada perbaikan teknis, sementara mahasiswa kerap mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun argumen logis, mengorganisasi ide secara koheren, dan memahami struktur wacana akademik secara utuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memetakan kemampuan menulis akademik mahasiswa sebagai dasar dalam merancang sistem pembelajaran berbasis AI yang relevan dengan kebutuhan aktual di pendidikan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui penyebaran angket tertutup menggunakan kuesioner daring berbasis Google Form. Instrumen dirancang berdasarkan lima aspek utama: struktur penulisan, penguasaan bahasa, argumentasi dan logika, penggunaan referensi, serta keterampilan teknik, dengan skala Likert 1–5. Responden terdiri atas 132 mahasiswa tingkat akhir dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia, khususnya dari rumpun keilmuan teknik konstruksi. Data dianalisis secara kontekstual berdasarkan program studi serta diverifikasi melalui triangulasi untuk meningkatkan validitas hasil. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa berada pada kategori “mampu” dalam menulis akademik, namun belum mencapai kategori “sangat mampu”, terutama pada aspek penguasaan bahasa dan argumentasi logis. Hasil ini mengindikasikan adanya kesenjangan dalam keterampilan literasi akademik yang memerlukan intervensi pembelajaran inovatif. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem pembelajaran berbasis AI yang mampu memberikan umpan balik teknis dan konseptual secara adaptif menjadi penting untuk mendorong peningkatan kualitas penulisan ilmiah mahasiswa. Rekomendasi penelitian lanjutan mencakup pengembangan sistem AI terintegrasi dan perluasan populasi lintas institusi guna memperluas generalisasi hasil.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran Jobsheet merupakan salah satu bentuk median yang digunakan sebagai perantara dalam proses pembelajaran penyaluran informasi untuk memperoleh aspek kognif, afektif dan psikomotor yang lebih baik. Di dalam proses pembelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan Kelas XI DPIB di SMKN 5 Bandung, untuk memudahkan penyampaian materi baik teori maupun praktik perlu digunakan media yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran yang dapat dijadikan pegangan untuk guru dan siswa di dalam proses praktikum. Media yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaraan ini berupa Jobsheet. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana gambaran tingkat efektivitas dengan menggunakan Jobsheet dalam pembelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan Kelas XI DPIB di SMKN 5 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI DPIB V SMKN 5 Bandung yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Tingkat efektivitas penggunaan Jobsheet dalam pembelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan dilihat dari hasil belajar. Dari hasil analisis bahwa tingkat efektivitas penggunaan Jobsheet dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil yang efektif sebagai media pembelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan di Kelas XI DPIB di SMKN 5 Bandung dengan persentasi sebesar 79,4%.The Effectiveness of Using Jobsheets in Learning Road and Bridge Construction Class XI Modeling Design and Building Information (DPIB) at State Vocational High School 5 BandungAbstractJobsheet learning media is one form of median that is used as an intermediary in the learning process for distributing information to obtain better cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. In the learning process of Road and Bridge Construction Class XI DPIB at SMKN 5 Bandung, to facilitate the delivery of material both theory and practice, it is necessary to use media that can help the learning process that can be used as a guide for teachers and students in the practicum process. The media used in this learning process is a Jobsheet. The purpose of this study was to find out how to describe the level of effectiveness using Jobsheets in learning Road and Bridge Construction Class XI DPIB at SMKN 5 Bandung. The method used is descriptive method. The sample used in the study were students of class XI DPIB V SMKN 5 Bandung, amounting to 34 students. The level of effectiveness of using Jobsheets in learning Road and Bridge Construction is seen from the learning outcomes. From the results of the analysis that the level of effectiveness of using Jobsheets in learning shows effective results as a learning medium for Road and Bridge Construction in Class XI DPIB at SMKN 5 Bandung with a percentage of 79.4%.

Abstract

Peserta didik SMK diprogram oleh pemerintah untuk bisa terjun ke dunia kerja/ dunia industri setelah lulus dan selesai dari masa studinya. Kerja merupakan pencapaian yang dilakukan untuk menerapkan antara pengetahuan teori dan praktek yang diperoleh di sekolah dan dunia industri. Pengalaman bekerja merupakan salah satu aspek tingkat kesiapan dari peserta didik yang didapat dari dunia industri ketika melaksanakan praktek kerja lapangan. Tingkat kesiapan peserta didik yang beragam merupakan salah satu hal yang bisa menjadi tolak ukur ketika para peserta didik lulus dari sekolah. Maka dari itu tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan kerja dari peserta didik kompetensi keahlian desain pemodelan dan informasi bangunan. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuisioner/angket dengan metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan presentase. Responden pada penelitian difokuskan kepada para peserta didik kompetensi keahlian desain pemodelan dan informasi bangunan SMK Negeri 2 Garut yang telah melaksanakan praktek kerja lapangan dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket tertutup. Hasil penelitian yang didapat berdasarkan aspek-aspek tingkat kesiapan kerja yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan 8% peserta didik sangat siap, 55% peserta didik siap, 27% peserta didik menyatakan tidak siap dan 10% peserta didik sangat tidak siap. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut tingkat kesiapan kerja peserta didik ada di kategori baik dan cukup siap untuk menghadapi dunia kerja.Level of Readiness of Learners Competency in Design Modeling and Building Information in Facing the World of Work (Study at SMK Negeri 2 Garut)AbstractVocational High School students are programmed by the government to be able to enter the world of work/industrial world after graduating and completing their studies. Work is an achievement made to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in school and industry. Work experience is one aspect of the readiness level of students obtained from the industrial world when carrying out field work practices. The level of readiness of students who are diverse is one thing that can be used as a benchmark when students graduate from school. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the level of work readiness of students with competency in modeling design skills and building information. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire/questionnaire with data analysis methods used, namely descriptive methods and quantitative approaches with percentages. Respondents in the study focused on the students' competence in modeling and building information design skills at SMK Negeri 2 Garut who had carried out field work practices by collecting data using a closed questionnaire method. The results obtained based on the aspects of the level of work readiness used in this study showed 8% of students were very ready, 55% of students were ready, 27% of students said they were not ready and 10% of students were much unprepared. Based on these results, the level of work readiness of students is in the good category and quite ready to face the world of work.
