Abstract

The aim of the research was to analyze the management of the SMEs of Troso Weaving Craft in Jepara Regency in relation to the human resources. In order that the SMEs can compete with today’s industry, the SMEs are required to be able to run their businesses professionally and to innovate, as well as to implement new breakthroughs. Therefore, the management of the SMEs needs to develop their intellectual ability and competitive advantage for their products. Intellectual capital is the intangible resource that can be used as the source of sustainable competitive advantage. The measurement of IC associated with competitive advantage was made against the elements of human capital, structural capital and costumer capital. Hence,this research discussed a model that relates the intellectual capital of the SMEs to the competitive advantage of the SMEs of Troso Weaving Craft in Jepara Regency. For the development of the model and hypothesis, the research used the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), by taking the samples of 157 SMEs of Troso Weaving Craft selected in simple random sampling. The analysis results show that human capital, structural capital, and customer capital have the effect on competitive advantage. It means that the improvement of the competitive advantage for Troso Weaving Craft requires trainings in the managements of production, distribution, marketing and finance for all individuals and employees of the SMEs.

Abstract

Indonesia's MSME sector is torn between economic growth and environmental damage. Industrial Revolution 4.0 encourages MSMEs, including in the culinary sector, to integrate business and social values with the principle of circularity. This study analyzes the influence of Industry 4.0 key resources on Culinary MSMEs in Jakarta on the circular economy and sustainable business. A quantitative approach was used by surveying Culinary MSME owners in Jakarta, taking 82 samples by random sampling. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS). The analysis results show that the key resources of Industry 4.0, such as production system management, HR leadership, environmentally friendly business operations, and information technology, significantly affect the adoption of Industry 4.0 and the establishment of Sustainable Culinary Production Systems. The adoption of Industry 4.0 also impacts circular economy capabilities and sustainable business. Similarly, Sustainable Culinary Production Systems contribute to circular economy capabilities and sustainable business.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 memicu transformasi metode tradisional menjadi model pendidikan generasi keempat. Perguruan Tinggi Islam di Indonesia perlu adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Tantangan melibatkan kesenjangan sumber daya manusia dalam mengajar dan keterampilan untuk menghadapi masa depan. Pendidikan 4.0 membutuhkan pemikiran mendalam mengenai kompleksitas situasi. Kepemimpinan transformasional Islam, memainkan peran krusial, tetapi dinamikanya dengan implementasi pendidikan 4.0 memerlukan penelitian lebih lanjut. Perilaku Kewarganegaraan Pancasila Organisasi, yang mencakup tindakan sukarela, juga perlu mendapatkan perhatian dalam membentuk karakter dan moralitas siswa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran mediasi perilaku kewarganegaaan Pancasila perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam di Indonesia diantara kepemimpinan transformasional Islam dan keberhasilan implementasi pendidikan tinggi Islam 4.0. Studi ini memilih pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis survei pada 250 Dosen PTKI Pulau Jawa, dengan teknik penarikan sampel purposif. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan secara online dan data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Islamic Transformation Leadership positif memengaruhi perilaku kewarganegaraan-Pancasila Organisasi di kalangan Dosen PTKI, meningkatkan kesadaran kewarganegaraan dan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Dosen dengan pendekatan Islami dalam kepemimpinan berperan strategis membentuk karakter mahasiswa dan mendukung perkembangan Pendidikan Tinggi Islam 4.0. Integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kepemimpinan memediasi pengaruh Islamic Transformation Leadership, menghubungkan prinsip-prinsip Islam dan tuntutan Pendidikan Tinggi Islam 4.0.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki potensi strategis untuk berkembang sebagai pusat pariwisata halal dunia, didukung oleh keunggulan demografis, kekayaan budaya, serta percepatan transformasi digital. Namun, pengembangan pariwisata halal masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan struktural, seperti fragmentasi kebijakan, rendahnya tingkat digitalisasi, dan belum terintegrasinya nilai-nilai keislaman, prinsip keberlanjutan, serta teknologi canggih dalam perumusan kebijakan pariwisata nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan kerangka konseptual integratif Pariwisata Halal 5.0 yang menggabungkan nilai syariah, paradigma keberlanjutan, dan inovasi teknologi dalam tata kelola pariwisata nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 47 artikel ilmiah dan dokumen kebijakan terpilih dengan mengikuti protokol PRISMA serta analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi pariwisata halal perlu bergeser dari pendekatan normatif berbasis kepatuhan menuju paradigma human-centered yang menekankan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, prinsip triple bottom line (ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan), serta pemanfaatan teknologi mutakhir seperti kecerdasan buatan, Internet of Things, blockchain, dan augmented/virtual reality. Temuan lainnya menegaskan pentingnya model tata kelola kolaboratif yang melibatkan aktor lintas sektor dan lintas tingkat pemerintahan. Peta jalan pengembangan mencakup harmonisasi regulasi, pemberdayaan UMKM halal, penguatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, serta pembangunan platform digital pariwisata halal yang terintegrasi. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Islam, keberlanjutan, dan teknologi berpotensi menciptakan destinasi halal yang inklusif, adaptif, dan berdaya saing global. Dengan demikian, Pariwisata Halal 5.0 tidak sekadar merepresentasikan layanan berbasis kepatuhan syariah, melainkan transformasi sistemik menuju ekosistem pariwisata yang etis, berkelanjutan, dan inovatif, sejalan dengan visi Indonesia sebagai pemimpin ekonomi halal dunia.

Abstract

Metropolitan areas such as Semarang play a strategic role in driving regional and national economic growth. However, comprehensive insights into the city's economic-business future remain limited. This study aims to map global research trends related to urban economic-business issues through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) combined with bibliometric analysis, using Scopus metadata as the primary source. Employing the PRISMA framework, the study analyzed 93 relevant documents (2009–2024) with the support of Bibliometrix R and VOSviewer software. The results show a significant increase in global academic attention to urban economic topics, particularly concerning sustainability, MSME digitalization, public sector governance transformation, and strategic leadership. Four major thematic clusters were identified: (1) consumer behavior and value-based business practices, (2) public organizational culture and digital entrepreneurship, (3) digital innovation and competitive social capital in MSMEs, and (4) green leadership and sustainable urban governance. Keyword co-occurrence visualization highlighted the prominence of themes such as sustainability, circular economy, and competitive advantage in global research narratives. The study emphasizes the need to integrate technology, local values, and collaborative governance to formulate adaptive and knowledge-based development strategies. Furthermore, the global bibliometric findings serve as a conceptual foundation for envisioning the future trajectory of Semarang's economic-business landscape, offering reflective insights for policymakers, academics, and entrepreneurs aiming to enhance the city's competitiveness and sustainability.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Industri batik Pekalongan menghadapi tantangan signifikan terkait rendahnya literasi branding berkelanjutan, keterbatasan kemampuan digital, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan nilai ekologis sebagai keunggulan kompetitif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan UMKM Green Batik Pekalongan melalui integrasi strategi branding hijau, penguatan ekologi produksi, dan digitalisasi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar fashion berkelanjutan. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan green marketing, workshop digital marketing, pendampingan pendaftaran ecolabel, serta pengembangan storytelling dan strategi komunikasi merek. Mitra terdiri dari 20 pelaku UMKM batik di Kecamatan Pekalongan Utara. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan analisis hasil produksi konten. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas signifikan: pemahaman green marketing meningkat 97,6%, kemampuan produksi konten digital meningkat lebih dari 500%, 18 UMKM memiliki akun bisnis aktif, dan 10 produk memperoleh draft ecolabel, dengan 4 di antaranya memasuki tahap pengajuan awal. Selain itu, peserta menghasilkan 15 narasi storytelling dan satu dokumen Strategi Komunikasi Merek Berkelanjutan yang siap diterapkan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pemberdayaan sinergis antara branding, ekologi, dan digitalisasi efektif dalam memperkuat citra Green Batik Pekalongan serta relevan untuk direplikasi di sentra batik lainnya.Kata kunci: Green Marketing; Ecolabel; Green Batik Pekalongan; Digital Marketing; Pemberdayaan UMKM. ABSTRACTThe batik industry in Pekalongan faces significant challenges related to the low literacy of sustainable branding, limited digital capabilities, and the suboptimal utilization of ecological value as a competitive advantage. This community engagement program aims to empower Green Batik Pekalongan MSMEs through the integration of green branding strategies, ecological production enhancement, and marketing digitalization to strengthen their competitiveness in the sustainable fashion market. The program activities included socialization, green marketing training, digital marketing workshops, ecolabel registration assistance, and the development of cultural storytelling and sustainable brand communication strategies. The beneficiaries consisted of 20 batik artisans in Pekalongan Utara District. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and analysis of digital content outputs. The results show significant capacity improvements: green marketing understanding increased by 97.6%, digital content production improved by more than 500%, 18 MSMEs established active business accounts, and 10 products obtained ecolabel drafts, with 4 progressing to the initial verification stage. Additionally, participants produced 15 storytelling narratives and one comprehensive Sustainable Brand Communication Strategy document ready for implementation. This program demonstrates that synergistic empowerment combining branding, ecological practices, and digitalization is effective in strengthening the sustainable image of Green Batik Pekalongan and is highly relevant for replication in other batik production centers.Keywords: Green Marketing; Ecolabel; Green Batik Pekalongan; Digital Marketing; MSME Empowerment.
