Abstract

An electroless plating process that does not use electric current in the coating process. Coatings that occurs due to the reaction of reduction and oxidation of [ermukaan objects, thus forming a layer of metal derived from the metal salt. Because it does not use an electric current in the electron exchange coating process happens more slowly. The purpose of this study is to see the reaction products formed on the surface of coal bottom ash results electroless plating which is affected by variations in the weight of aluminum and temperature oxidation by testing the SEM-EDX. Results of SEM-EDX will be the reaction products formed by using statistical software version PCPDF WIN 2:01. From the test results SEM-EDX with magnesium weight variation and temperature variation affects the oxidation Wt%-forming elements in it but does not affect the elements formed where for all specimens produce similar reactions, namely Aluminium Silicate Al2SiO5.Keywords: Composites, electroless plating, the reaction products formed

Abstract

 Aluminium is a metal which has a mild nature, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductors that are used as matiks. Bottom ash coal used for reinforcement which is useful for producing aluminum composite with excellent mechanical properties and low cost. Besides the mechanical properties of aluminum can be enhanced by the addition of alloying elements (alloying) and the heat treatment process (heat tretment). The purpose of research is a comparative changes in microstructure before and after T6 heat treatment. This research will look at the changes in the microstructure of aluminum composite bottom ash coal that have undergone a process of T6 heat treatment that includes, (solid solution) is done at a temperature of 540 °C with a holding time of 6 hours, (quenching) with media cooling water, salt water (brine), oil, and (aging) with aging time of 2 hours, 4 hours, and 6 hours at a temperature of 180 °C From the results of tests performed on the aluminum composite material coal bottom ash, before and after T6 heat treatment process shows that. Granules greatest average diameter of the grain is shown by the media granules with salt water cooling 6-hour holding time for 165,3pm, and the smallest is 95,58pm with water cooling media holding time 6 hours, while aluminum composite granules of coal bottom ash without treatment equal to 158.4 pmKeywords: aluminum, coal bottom ash, heat treatment, quenching, aging, microstructure

Abstract

Material cost and lightweight to be a requirement in the automotive world. This requirement led toinnovations in the manufacture of Metal Matrix Composite (MMC). Aluminum-based MMC with reinforcement Abucoal base developed as inputs for industries, especially the automotive industry because the material is cheap andeasy to come by in the can. The purpose of this study to determine the influence braking loads and rotational speedvariai to change the microstructure of the base material disk disc al - ash coal. The research activities begins theprocess of making a composite with the method of HAS, then how is generated into a disk disc, the next disc-discdiperlakuan T6 heat, further testing with load variations braking and speed, turn while braking loads are used 3kg,4kg, 5kg and with the rotational speed 600rpm , 700rpm, 800rpm. The test results braking ratio of disc-disc originalwith disk disc al - bottom ash coal in comparison type of disc discs al - bottom ash coal produces a highertemperature than the disc-disc original because of the heat capacity on the disc al - bottom ash coal is greatercompared to the original disk disc. So that the braking load variations and variations in rotational speed (rpm), themicro structure changes that occur are from the compound turned into Al2SiO4 Al2MgSiO4 these changes occur asa result of the heat that builds up during braking.Keywords : composites, variation of speed, braking loads, microstructure.

Abstract

The composite is a combination of two or more different materials on condition the bonding surfacebetween the two materials. One type of composites that much attention is metal matrix composites (KML). In thisstudy investigated how the influence of variations of Mg and temperature variations of oxidation on the density andporosity of the composite amplifier undergo a process of electroless plating with variation (% by weight) ofmagnesium 0,005, 0,010, and 0,015% and variations in temperature oxidation of 100, 200 and 300 C and at holdfor 3 hours, then made composite by Stir Casting casting method. Based on the average chart shows that increasingthe value of (% by weight) of magnesium and oxidation temperature 0C the density values further down, This iscaused by the imbalance between the weight magnesium particles moistened (coal bottom ash) during theelectroless plating process. Based on the results of testing the value of the highest density achieved at a temperatureof 3000C to oxidation (wt%) 0.005 Mg is equal to 2.609 gr/cm3. And the value of the lowest density is achieved at atemperature of 200 0C to oxidation (wt%) Mg 0,010 is equal to 2.406 g / cmKeywords: composite, electroless plating, stir casting, density-porosity.

Abstract

Be able to change the different characteristics and potential of these results, showing that the Metal Matrix Composite showed an increase in physical and mechanical at any properties. With increasing weight percentage ofparticles in the matrix aluminum metal reinforcement makes a low wear rate against diks manufacture brake.Aluminium composite that bottom ash coal with Mg alloy and SiC factor that could affect the properties of thecomposite, particle distribution amplifier in a metal matrix. From the results of research to get the final hardnesstesting and FER. Effect of aging temperature on the value of FER and violence is in the range of temperature that isvalidated, the higher the aging temperature FER value increases, so does the value of violence. The highest FERvalue for 1.34 reached tepmeratur aging 200 0C and highest hardness value is achieved at temperatures of 180 C.Effect of aging time variation of the value of FER and violence is at varied time spans, the longer aging FER valuethus increased, so did the value of violence. The highest FER value of 1.34 was achieved in a period of 7 hours andachieved the highest hardness value of 7 hoursKata kunci : Aluminium komposit abu dasar batu bara.

Abstract

Dalam aplikasinya komponen harus mempunyai sifat mekanis yang keras, agar komponen tidak mudah rusak dan umur dari komponen tersebut bisa lebih panjang. Kekerasan dipengaruhi oleh strukturmikro yang ada dalam bahan. Dan untuk memperoleh sifat mekanik yang keras maka harus merubah strukturmikro dengan melalui proses perlakuan panas yang diberikan terhadap bahan tersebut. Bahan yang digunakan adalah komposit alumunium 2075 - abu dasar batubara. Tujuan dari penelitihan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi temperatur aging 100°C, 125°C, 150°C dan waktu aging 45 menit, 60 menit, dan 75 menit pada perlakuan panas T6 terhadap kekerasan dan strukturmikro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pengujian dan pengamatan di laboratorium. Dari hasil analisa yang dilakukan, pada rentang temperatur dan waktu aging yang diterapkan, bahwa semakin tinggi temperatur dan waktu aging kekerasan yang diperoleh semakin tinggi dan ukuran butir yang dihasilkan semakin kecil, hal ini disbabkan oleh jumlah presipitat yang diperoleh semakin banyah sehingga menghambat pertumbuhan butir. Nilai kekerasan terendah terletak pada temperatur aging 100°C dengan waktu aging 45 menit menghasilkan nilai kekerasan 45HRA. Meningkatnya temperatur aging dan waktu aging menyebabkan ukuran butir semakin kecil. Butiran terkecil terdapat pada temperatur aging 150°C dengan waktu aging 75 menit dengan diameter rata-rata 88,714μm. Butiran terbesar terdapat pada temperatur aging 100°C dengan waktu aging 45 menit dengan diameter rata-rata 137,756μm.

Abstract

Abstract. Almost every year during the rainy season, landslides continue to haunt the villagers Wonodadi Kulon Ngadirojo Pacitan. Biggest landslides occurred in the past 2009 years. At least, dozens of houses were severely damaged, at least 13 cows are victims and impaired access road connecting the village to the other. Within four (4) years after the great disaster, there has been no attempt to anticipate or prevent the occurrence of landslides. Wonodadi Kulon village at an altitude of 80-500 meters above sea level to be exact in South Kendeng Mountains about 55 miles from downtown Pacitan. Its area is hilly with a slope of 68 degrees. From the survey conducted disaster seems to be increasingly threatened due to changes in land use that was originally in the form of community forest turned into farmland. Land use as agricultural land utilize a relatively steep slope, so that erosion will often occur in the form of erosion gully and soil mass movement (landslides). Erosion at this next level causing a big impact for environmental damage, such as flash floods. Public knowledge about forest conservation and water resources is still low proven that many people who are looking for firewood in the forest. Data from the local village administration mentioned critical land area of 102 hectares land area of 309.30 ha mild erosion; a land area of 410.53 ha of erosion was severe erosion and a land area of 10 ha.Keywords: disaster, landslide

Abstract. The market opportunities of herb medicine in Indonesia is quite widespread both for domestic needs and for export. Domestic demand for herb medicine was increased each year. This mean that the opportunities to develop the household or small scale herb industries in Indonesia are needed, one of the most popular place of herb medicine in Indonesia is Madura Island, especially in this present the local government of Sampang District concern to develop the Central of Herb Medicine in Jl Pahlawan, and they called “Herb Medicine Putri Pahlawan Cluster. Abstract

Mengembangkan diri menjadi desa ekonomi kreatif. Desa ini telah memiliki laboratorium pusat studi ekonomi kreatif dan pariwisata Jawa Timur hasil dari kegiatan penelitian dan pengbadian civitas akedemika Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Dalam upaya pengembangan ekonomi kreatif insfrastruktur pendukung, salah satunya adalah lampu penerangan. Untuk menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut, maka akan dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan kegiatan optimalisasi PJU LED Solar Cell untuk peningkatan produktivitas ekonomi kreatif Minggirsari, Kanigoro, Kabupaten Blitar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan implementasi dari kegiatan peneltian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat Desa Minggirsari secara umum, pelaku ekonomi kreatif secara khusus, dan Pemerintah Desa Minggirsari secara spesifik. Manfaat yang diharapkan adalah adanya peningkatan produktivitas ekonomi kreatif di Desa Minggirsari sehingga nantinya dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonmi Desa Minggirsari.Kata kunci: PJU, Solar Cell, Ekonomi Kreatif, Minggirsari.

Abstract

Desa Papungan Kecamatan Kanigoro Kabupaten Blitar merupakan desa yang memiliki ikan yang khas yaitu ikan mujair. Ikan mujair oleh masyarakat biasanya hanya dikonsumsi dengan cara digoreng atau dibakar saja. Karakteristik ikan yang mudah membusuk menyebabkan masyarakat harus segera menjual hasilnya dalam keadaan hidup atau segar saat dipanen. Keadaan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan melakukan proses pengolahan hasil ikan yang berlebih agar daya awetnya meningkat. Dalam usaha meningkatkan daya awet dan meningkatkan pendapatan, kendala yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah rendahnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam mengolah pangan asal ikan, terutama ikan mujair. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat yang membudidayakan ikan Mujair agar bisa mengolah hasil ikan menjadi produk lain yang mudah dilakukan serta diminati masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengolahan ikan menjadi abon ikan dan ikan krispi. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memfasilitasi teknologi tepat guna berupa peralatan serta pelatihan dan pendampingan sehingga dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan serta pendapatan masyarakat desa Papungan, khususnya masyarakat pembudidaya ikan mujair.
