Abstract

Scholarships are one of the solutions in dealing with dropping out of school to increase the quantity of human resources in Indonesia. There are various types of scholarships given to outstanding students, one of which is a foundation scholarship. Foundation scholarships are scholarships whose funding comes from higher education foundations intended for outstanding and economically disadvantaged students. A decision support system (SPK) is needed in determining foundation scholarship recipients. With SPK, the results obtained are more objective based on the criteria used, accurate, effective and efficient. The SPK method used in this study is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method performs a search with a weighted sum of performance ratings for each alternative on all criteria. The criteria used in this study are the Grade Point Average (GPA), parents' income and the number of dependents. Calculations using the SAW method will produce weight values, criteria, alternatives and ranking results of scholarship recipients as material for decision making.

Abstract

Students are always confused with a schedule of lectures, about time of lectures, room that will be used, even about come or not the lecturer on class. As a result, students must always go to the education department to inquire this issue. It is very ineffective. But there is no system that helps students in overcoming this problem. In this paper, the authors build a system with the title is the information system of the schedules of lectures using television. The system is built using Delphi 6.0 programming language and uses Microsoft Access 2003 as the database. To operate this system requires a CPU and a television screen as an output device. This system provides information on the schedule of lectures to the students through a television screen. Information provided includes schedule of lectures, room that will be used, the certainty of the lecture will take place, and informing announcements and activities that will take place. These systems also support the effectiveness of the performance of educational staff in the conduct of daily operations.

Abstract

Foundation grants are funds that comes from foundation and given for student achievement and poor, which aims to prevent collage drop outs for students. The criteria used in determining the foundation grant recipients are GPA, parent’s income and the number of dependents. The method applied in determining the foundation grant recipients is SMART (Simple Multi Attribute rating Technique) method. Because this method able to solve the multicriteria decision making problems, base on theory that each criteria has a weight that describes how important these criteria with other criteria. The results of this research are recommendations from recipients of foundation grant.

Abstract

Foundation scholarships are an effective way to reduce the number of students dropping out of college. Foundation scholarships are funding for tuition fees by foundations for underprivileged but outstanding students. In determining objective scholarship recipients, a decision support system is needed. In this case, the author applies the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute rating Technique) and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) methods. The criteria used in determining scholarship recipients are the Grade Point Average (GPA), parental income and number of dependents. To obtain the final result in the form of a ranking of scholarship recipients, a calculation is carried out using the SMART and SAW methods, then the results will be carried out a comparative analysis of the two methods.

Abstract

Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) adalah tempat bertemunya para siswauntuk dapat mengeksplorasi minat dan bakatnya. Keberhasilan pelaksanaanprogram OSIS sangat bergantung pada kepemimpinannya, sehingga pentinguntuk memilih ketua OSIS yang tepat dan berkualitas. Saat ini prosespemilihan ketua OSIS di SMK Negeri 1 Siantar melalui voting siswa sepertipemilu. Cara ini memerlukan proses penghitungan yang lama dan dianggapkurang objektif sehingga dapat menimbulkan kecurangan serta manipulasiterhadap hasil yang diperoleh. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi denganmembuat suatu Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk membantu SMKNegeri 1 Siantar dalam menentukan ketua OSIS yang terstruktur dansetengah struktur dengan lebih efektif menggunakan Logika Fuzzy yaituMetode Fuzzy Tsukamoto. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 4 data siswayang akan menjadi calon ketua OSIS dan memberikan hasil rekomendasiyang Layak menjadi ketua OSIS dengan nilai probabilitas >=76,00. Dengankehadiran Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ini, sekolah dapat dibantu dalammenentukan pemilihan ketua OSIS dan meminimalisir masalah yang akanterjadi dalam prosesnya

Abstract

Dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang semakin kuat, persaingan untuk kesejahteraan terus meningkat. Jika anggota masyarakat tidak dapat bersaing karena persaingan ini, mereka akan tertinggal. Hal ini menimbulkan perbedaan di masyarakat. Selain mendorong orang untuk terus meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka, pemerintah juga menawarkan berbagai program untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka. Sayangnya, banyak dari program tersebut tidak mencapai tujuan mereka. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan cara untuk membantu orang membuat keputusan tentang tingkat kesejahteraan keluarga mereka. Logika fuzzy dan model Mamdani digunakan dalam penelitian ini.
