Abstract

Keripik pisang merupakan hasil olahan bahan pangan pertanian yang dijadikan sebagai makanan ringan. Usaha pembuatan keripik pisang yang terdapat di Desa Ranombayasa Kecamatan Mowila Kabupaten Konawe Selatan berskala rumahtangga (homeindustry). Pembuatan keripik  pisang skala rumahtangga ini awalnya dilakukan secara keci-kecilan dan dipasarkan di kios-kios yang ada di sekitar Desa Ranombayasa. Proses pembuatan keripik tersebut dilakukan berdasarkan pada pengalaman pelaku usaha secara otodidak. Disamping itu, saat memulai usaha pembuatan keripik, hanya dilakukan oleh anggota keluarga saja, namun saat ini usaha pembuatan keripik pisang tersebut sudah mempekerjakan 6 (enam) orang tenaga kerja. Usaha pembuatan keripik pisang berawal dari modal sendiri dengan modal awal Rp1.000.000,-. Dari jumlah modal tersebut dikelola sehingga berkembang sampai saat ini. Keripik yang dihasilkan dalam sekali produksi bernilai Rp8.000.000,-, biaya yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp4.201.417,-, keuntungan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp3.798.583,-. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa usaha pembuatan keripik pisang di Desa Ranombayasa Kecamatan Mowila Kabupaten Konawe Selatan secara ekonomi memberikan keuntungan bagi pelaku usaha skala rumahtangga.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial feasibility of upland rice farming in Ronta Village, Bonegunu District, North Buton Regency. The research was carried out in May 2021 - June 2021 in Ronta Village, Bonegunu District, North Buton Regency. The research data were analyzed using quantitative methods with cost, revenue, income, and financial feasibility. The study results showed that upland rice farming in Ronta Village, Bonegunu District, North Buton Regency was feasible to cultivate and develop based on economic feasibility criteria. The NPV value obtained was IDR 958.8 with an interest rate of 14%, BEP IDR 4,614, and 72.78 kg. IRR is 25%, the required Payback Period is 1.5 years, and the B/C Ratio is 3.76. In the sensitivity analysis, if there is a 30% decrease in price, then the upland rice farming in Ronta Village is not feasible to develop because it does not meet the five financial feasibility investment criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of welfare of cashew farmer households due to the development of cashew farming through the role of the local government. The research was conducted in 2018 in the North Kulisusu District by selecting three villages, namely Bira Village, Kurolabu Village, and Lakansai Village. The location selection was done purposively because this area was one of the regions that experienced an increase in the development of cashew cultivation. Determination of respondents is done by quota sampling, which is 20 people per village, so the number of respondents is 60 people. Data collection uses techniques (1) interviews, (2) observations, and (3) questionnaires. Data collection is done by direct communication with farmers, and parties related to cashew farming. The measurement of the level of welfare is carried out by analyzing the Farmer's Household Exchange Rate. The results of this study are the structure of cashew farmer household income, which is 40.18% or Rp62,227,167, - from the agricultural sector while 59.82% or Rp92,650,000, - from the non-agricultural sector. So that the level of household welfare of cashew farmers is prosperous with NTPRP values > 1 which is 7,8

Abstract

The aim of this study was to measure the ability of organic rice products (competitiveness) in accessing markets (Market Share). The research used market share analysis for answering the research objective. The research results showed that the ability of product (organic rice) based on variant analysis is influenced not only by price but also non-price factors. The percentage value of the price factor (65.06%) was greater than the non-price factor (34.94%). The price factor was influenced by the product’s competitiveness and consumer purchasing power. While the non-price factor was affected by distribution or products salesman and products that were marketed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) income obtained from seaweed business in Bungin Permai Village, Tinanggea Subdistrict, South Konawe Regency (2) seaweed farming in Bungin Permai Village, Tinanggea Sub-District, South Konawe Regency. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The population of this study is 233 seaweed farmers. The sample determination uses simple random sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 37 respondents, thesample size was determined by referring to the Slovin formula. The results of this study indicate (1) The average income of farmers respondents on seaweed farming in one production process that is Rp11.412.683 (2) With R / C of 7.353 means seaweed farming profitable and feasible to be developed and the use of production costs efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of employees after the establishment of oil palm plantation company (PT Tani Prima Makmur) in Mendikonu Village Amonggedo District Konawe District. This research was conducted in Mendikonu Village, Amonggedo Sub-District, Konawe District. The population in this research is the people who work as employees in oil palm plantation companies. Determination of the sample in this study was conducted by using the census method, which took as many as 43 families, who entered work as employees in oil palm plantation companies. The census method is characterized by the consideration that the entire population is taken as a sample of the study if the total population is less than 50 persons. The results of this study show that: the influence of oil palm plantation companies on the socio-economic life of employees is a very positive effect. It is said to have a positive effect because in view of the existence of oil palm plantations can improve good social relations in the midst of community life. In addition to social influences also affect the economic life where the income of the people who work as local employees, especially those who work as oil palm fruit harvesters on average increased to, Rp.1.981.370 per month, while the employees working as the average foreman increased to become Rp.2.340.000 per month.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pattern of partnerships formed in the coconut sugar agroindustry in Manyampa Village, Ujung Loe District, Bulukumba Regency. This research was carried out in Manyampa, Ujung Loe District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province, from June 2021 to February 2022. The population in this study were all coconut sugar craftsmen who had a partnership relationship with the coconut sugar agro-industry in Manyampa Village, Ujung Loe District, Bulukumba Regency, totalling 14 people. And collectors as partners, namely 1 (one) person. Sampling was carried out using the Non-Probability Sampling technique, namely saturated sampling (Census), so the number of samples in this study amounted to 15. The variables used in this study include the characteristics of the respondents of coconut sugar craftsmen: age, education, business experience, number of tapped coconut trees, and number of family members. Collector traders include age, education, and the number of family members; The partnership pattern includes the background for the formation of the Partnership, the implementation of the Partnership, as well as the rights and obligations of the partnering party. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing channels for cayenne pepper in Lawa District, Muna Barat Regency, to determine the profit costs and marketing margins for each marketing channel in Lawa Distric, Muna Barat Regency. And to analyze the efficiency of each marketing channel for cayenne pepper in Lawa Distric, Muna Barat Regency. Determination of the population using censustechniques (saturated sampling). Data analysis method using the Snowball Sampling method. The results of this study show 3 marketing channels for cayenne pepper in Lawa Distric. channel I has a farmer’s Share value of 90%, in marketing channel II has a Farmer’s Share of 72% and on marketing channel III has a Farmer’s Share value od 75%. The high start of Farmer’s Share on channel I is caused by the short marketing channel that producers go trough in marketing cayenne pepper .

Abstract

Lime plants (citrus aurantifolia) are one type of Citrus Gerut. With the existence of profitable agricultural products, this Lime fruit becomes income for the community. The reality that occurs among farmers is that farmers rarely even have to calculate in detail the economic analysis of farming. The existence of a clear farming analysis means that farmers will be able to know exactly how much their farming costs will be, the size of the income earned by farmers greatly affects the motivation of farmers themselves in doing farming. Sustainability of farming in the economic aspect is seen from the level of income of Lime farmers. This study aims to determine the income and sustainability of lime farming in Watabenua Village, Landono District, South Konawe Regency. This research was carried out in Watabenua Village, Landono District, South Konawe Regency from June 2021 to completion. The sample in this study amounted to 33 people who were determined using the census technique. The data used are primary and secondary. The method used in this research is descriptive and analytical. The results showed that the average income of lime farmers in Watabenua Village, Landono District, South Konawe Regency was Rp. 22,586,265. The average monthly income of farmers is Rp.1,882,188, from Rp.22,680,368/year with a production cost of Rp.4,637,977/year. Lime farming in Watabenua Village, Landono District, South Konawe Regency, if determined from the economic aspect, is sustainable.

Abstract

Produksi bibit jeruk keprok siompu dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai teknik, satu diantaranya adalah stek pucuk. Kelompok tani Bagea Buton Tengah merupakan kelompok tani binaan Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Buton Tengah dan memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk menanam bibit jeruk siompu di lahan-lahan kebun anggota kelompok tani. Namun kelompok tani terkendala pada produksi bibit dari biji karena musim berbuah telah lewat dan produksi buah terus mengalami penurunan di wilayah Siompu. Tujuan pelaksanaan bimbingan teknis (Bimtek) adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kapasitas kelompok tani tentang produksi bibit jeruk siompu melalui teknik stek pucuk. Bimtek ini telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7-9 Agustus 2024 bertempat di aula Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) kecamatan Mawasangka dan kebun jeruk siompu warga mawasangka, Siompu dengan jumlah peserta 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah metode Technology Transfer. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kapasitas anggota kelompok tani terkait teknik produksi bibit jeruk siompu melalui teknik stek pucuk.  Abstract. Production of Siompu tangerine seeds can be done using various techniques, one of which is shoot cuttings. The Bagea Buton Tengah farmer group is a farmer group assisted by the Central Buton Regency Agricultural Service and has high motivation to plant siompu orange seeds in the gardens of the farmer group members. However, farmer groups are constrained in producing seeds from seeds because the fruiting season has passed and fruit production continues to decline in the Siompu area. The aim of implementing technical guidance is to increase the knowledge and capacity of farmer groups regarding the production of siompu orange seeds using the shoot cutting technique. This technical guidance was carried out on 7-9 August 2024 at the Mawasangka sub-district Agricultural Extension Agency hall and the Siompu orange garden, Mawasangka residents, Siompu with a total of 30 participants. The method used in this program is the Technology Transfer method. The results of the service show that there has been an increase in the knowledge and capacity of farmer group members regarding Siompu orange seed production techniques using the shoot cutting technique.
