Abstract

This article aims to analyze the use of the Kahoot application in Indonesian learning in the article material at SMPN 2 Solokan Jeruk. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, where data is collected through interviews with relevant teachers. This approach allows researchers to gain in-depth insights into teachers' experiences and views on the application of the Kahoot application in the learning process. The results of the study show that the use of the Kahoot application has a positive impact by creating an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. This application has not only succeeded in increasing students' interest in learning, but also serves as an effective evaluation tool to strengthen students' memory and understanding of the material being taught. Additionally, Kahoot assists teachers in identifying areas that need improvement through direct feedback from students. Thus, this application plays an important role in improving the quality of Indonesian learning at the junior high school level, especially in supporting more modern learning methods that are relevant to students' needs.

Abstract

The 21st century is marked by increasing technological progress and productivity. This progress has provided a challenge for the education sector to produce quality young people with adequate skills. This research examines the effectiveness of a learning approach that integrates a multi-subject called STEAM, namely science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, to improve 21st-century skills. These skills include collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication, known as the 4Cs. As a case study, this STEAM learning was given to students at two State Madrasahs in West Java. To achieve this goal, mixed methods were used. The research combined qualitative and quantitative approaches. A qualitative approach was used to observe phenomena experienced by students, learning design, and implementation. Moreover, a quantitative approach was used to analyze the impact of STEAM learning on student skills. The STEAM learning design was delivered in three learning meetings. Research findings show that the STEAM learning model by using a multi-subject approach could significantly improve students' collaboration skills. However, it did not significantly improve students’ critical thinking, creativity and communication skills. Meanwhile, student responses showed positive results on the implementation of this model. Factors that were considered to influence the implementation of this model are: Duration of learning, literacy skills and student learning experiences, as well as teacher competencies.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies for internalizing the values of religious moderation within Indonesian language instruction in schools. Religious moderation—emphasizing tolerance, balance, and respect for diversity—is highly relevant to students' character formation in Indonesia's pluralistic society. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations at SMA Cordova Bandung using a qualitative approach. The findings reveal that Indonesian language teachers utilize interactive lectures, group discussions, contextual learning, and project-based learning methods to embed religious moderation values. some students experience difficulty in fully grasping the concept of religious moderation. The study concludes that integrating religious moderation into Indonesian language learning can effectively contribute to character building when approached through contextual and life-based pedagogy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk bahasa penolakan warganet terhadap tesis Imaduddin Utsman al-Bantani yang membatalkan nasab Ba’alawi sebagai zuriah Nabi Muhammad Saw. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Norman Fairclough dengan menelaah tiga dimensi, yaitu teks, praktik wacana, dan praktik sosial. Data dikumpulkan dari 14 unggahan video YouTube Bisikan Rhoma dan komentar pengguna terkait perdebatan seputar nasab Ba’alawi dan dianalisis secara kualitatif untuk mengungkap struktur linguistik beserta muatan ideologisnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa bentuk penolakan warganet sangat bervariasi, meliputi penolakan langsung, sarkasme, tuduhan, olok-olok, peringatan bernuansa religius, pembenaran berbasis keyakinan, dan delegitimasi terhadap tokoh dan institusi. Bentuk-bentuk tersebut mencerminkan ekspresi ketidaksetujuan terhadap isi tesis dengan mengonstruksi identitas kolektif, memperkuat solidaritas kelompok, dan mereproduksi kuasa simbolik berbasis nasab dalam ruang digital. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kesantunan berbahasa dan pendekatan reflektif dalam menyikapi perdebatan keagamaan yang sensitif di media sosial.

Abstract

Keterampilan siswa dalam berkomunikasi dan menyampaikan ide-ide ilmiah perlu ditingkatkan mengingat perkembangan informasi sangat pesat. Siswa yang tidak mengikuti perkembangan teknologi informasi akan tertinggal karena salah satu sumber ilmu pengetahuan saat ini didapatkan melalui teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji suatu pendekatan dalam pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan berbagai disiplin ilmu yaitu Sains, Teknologi, Teknik, Seni, dan Matematika yang berada dalam satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang disebut STEAM untuk keterampilan komunikasi sebagai salah satu keterampilan abad 21. subjek penelitian tersebut  adalah siswa MTs Garut di Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode mix dengan status matching, untuk memahami suatu fenomena yang sedang dipelajari. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk memahami fenomena apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran STEAM berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi siswa karena model ini dapat membantu mereka menganalisis sebuah teks secara kritis dan mampu merencanakan sebuah kegiatan pameran yang menampilkan proyek hasil karya mereka sendiri.
