Abstract

The advances in science and technology have also influenced the development of Bali tourism promotion strategies. In digital era 4.0, social media platforms and video-forming elements that can arouse consumers' emotions and desire to visit must be considered, so that messages and promotional objectives can be conveyed properly to consumers. This study aimed at analyzing the potential of Bali tourism promotion through digital video marketing so that it can be used as a strategy that is suitable for the current digital era.This research using qualitative and quantitative methods (mixed methods) in which the data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The effectiveness of the video was calculated using CRI (Customer Response Index) by implementing AISAS concept. Incidental quota sampling was done to determine the research sample. The research was done on Facebook. The collected data were analyzed using digital marketing theories, AISAS, and the theories of tourism promotional video. The results showed that the five among six selected videos were uploaded to Facebook are considered effective in conveying the promotional messages. There was a video with a high value of CRI AIS in which it will directly affect the videos' virality because of the high numbers of shares. The videos' virality will boost the videos' popularity that has a significant relationship to the destination's popularity. A popular video is powerful enough to arouse the desire of consumers to visit a destination. This study found a relationship between the CRI AIS value with the level of motivation and consumer desire to visit. The higher the CRI AIS value, the higher the level of motivation to visit.

Abstract

Participation of Members of Sedana Amerta Sari Women Farmer Group in Sustainable Food Yard Program: Case Study of Angantaka Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. The Sustainable Food Yard Program has the potential to achieve food self-sufficiency. The development of the program requires active participation of farmers. This study aims to analyze the level of participation, describe the forms of participation and the obstacles faced by the Sedana Amerta Sari Women Farmer Group (KWT). The research was conducted in the village of Angantaka and involved 30 respondents who are members of KWT. Data collection was carried out using a combination of in-depth interview techniques, observation and documentation to describe the forms and constraints of participation. Survey was carried out to determine the level of KWT participation. The data were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The result shows that the participation of KWT members is at a moderate level in all indicators of research variables such as participation in decision making, program implementation, program monitoring and utilization of results (56.16%). In terms of technical aspect, participation constraints faced by KWT include the lack of management time, the presence of pests and diseases, the unavailability of electricity and clean water on the demonstration plot. Economically, KWT members are facing capital constraints for the maintenance and development of agrotourism. Finally, the KWT lacks solidarity and internal group communication in terms of social aspects.

Abstract

Kebudayaan Bali memiliki peran penting bagi citra dan competitiveness Bali dalam industri pariwisata global dan unsur-unsur budaya telah digunakan sebagai ikon pemasaran pariwisata. Namun demikian, dalam perjalanan kepariwisataan di Bali, motivasi wisatawan berkunjung beragam karena banyaknya alternatif aktivitas wisata ditawarkan di Bali. Di sisi lain, perkembangan teknologi komunikasi merubah trend wisatawan mempersiapkan perjalanan wisata melalui pencarian informasi dengan merujuk ke rekomendasi dari sosial media secara online, salah satu yang populer adalah travel review forum. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui brand knowledge wisatawan tentang Bali melalui mediasi online travel review platform. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survey dengan kuesioner online sebagai instrument penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Spearman Rank Correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eWOM, khususnya online travel review memiliki hubungan yang kuat dan positif terhadap brand knowledge wisatawan bahwa Bali merupakan destinasi wisata alam. Sebaliknya, hubungan yang lemah dan negatif terjadi antara eWOM terhadap brand knowledge wisatawan tentang Bali sebagai destinasi wisata budaya.

Abstract

Ecotourism in Banyuwedang Bay Bali is run with community-based principles (CBE). The local community is the determining entity to the extent that the implementation of CBE affects the attributes and services provided to visitors, thereby determining visitor satisfaction. The aims of this study are: (a) to analyze the level of CBE implementation, and (b) to analyze the effect of ecotourism attributes and services on visitor satisfaction. The results showed that the level of CBE implementation in Banyuwedang Bay was classified as fully implemented and very good. Full business ownership by the local community who simultaneously manages all activities in ecotourism independently. There is a significant influence of the attributes and quality of ecotourism services on visitor satisfaction. The findings of this study should dispel skepticism about the inability of local communities to manage ecotourism. It is recommended that the government provides trust and authority as well as adequate assistance to local communities in developing similar ecotourism independently and in mutual cooperation. The assistance needed is related to ecotourism management training and service quality management to visitors, considering that both have a significant effect in shaping visitor satisfaction. This research has a limited scope of study area, so to obtain a more general conclusion, a wider scope of research is needed on several community-based ecotourism destinations throughout the Bali region. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis lebih mendalam terkait alternative tourism yang menjawab kejenuhan dari mass Tourisms atau pariwisata konvensional. Kejenuhan tersebut menjadi potensi pilihan kedua atau sebagai destinasi alternatif di Kabupaten Buleleng. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis implementasi pariwisata pesisir sebagai pariwisata alternatif, dan dampak penerapan pariwisata alternatif  di Desa Temukus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survey dan observasi partisipatif dengan wawancara mendalam dengan informan kunci, serta menggunakan studi literatur. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan responden. Akurasi data berdasarakan teknik triangulasi dengan proses verifikasi dan konfirmasi hasil observasi, wawancara, dan berdasarkan konsep serta teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kegiatan pariwisata di Desa temukus secara konseptual sudah termasuk pariwisata alternatif, yaitu dengan jumlah wisatawan minat khusus (kategori kecil), menekankan pada keberlanjutan (budidaya terumbu karang, pengolahan sampah), interaksi host and quest sangat besar. Dampak negatif potensial dari penerapan pariwisata alternative di wilayah pesisir diantaranya adalah wilayah yang rentan kerusakan, kontribusi ekonomi yang sangat dipengaruhi sedikitnya wisatawan, dan rentan terjadi perubahan idealime pariwisata berkelanjutan dari pengelola wisata. Hal ini menjadi karakteriktif dari pariwisata alternatif. Penelitian ini menguraikan sisi lain pariwisata alternatif yang menjadi soolusi dari dampak negatif dari pariwisata konvensional juga tidak luput dari kelemahan. Kelemahan tersebut berdasarkan hasil kajian dari penerapan yang telah dilakukan yang disebut dampak negatif potensial.

Abstract

This research examines the management and development of Subak Lestari as a sustainable tourist attraction in Denpasar City. Subak Lestari consists of five pilot subaks namely Anggabaya Subak, Umadesa Subak, Umalayu Subak, Subak Intaran Barat and Subak Intaran Barat Timur. The purpose of this study is to analyze institutional management and formulate a strategy for developing Subak Lestari as a sustainable tourist attraction in Denpasar City. This study uses an interpretive qualitative analysis method. Data collection was carried out through literature study, observation, in-depth interviews, triangulation and focus group discussions (FGD) with key informants including Subak Lestari officials, Denpasar City Government Agencies, Expert Team from academics who designed Subak Lestari, the Government and Pokdarwis in the Village and local Villages, as well as tourism actors. The results of this study found that there is a need for special management that manages Subak Lestari as tourist attraction, comprehensive HR training and assistance from related agencies, construction of tourism support facilities that still pay attention to paddy field productivity, implementation of policies and giving strict sanctions for violations related to land conversion and outreach to the community regarding the benefits of subak development as a sustainable tourist attraction. The conclusions from the research results are (1) Krama Subak is expected to maintain awig-awig in preserving agricultural land and open up to the concept of developing Subak as a tourist attraction; (2) the government is responsible for determining policies and collaborating with various related parties; (3) Academics conduct studies on concepts that are suitable for development in Subak, especially as a tourist attraction; (4) The community participates in preserving the Subak environment which has been designated as a tourist attraction.

Abstract

Perceptions of the Segara Asih Farmers and Fishermen Group on the Development of Marine Tourism at Bias Munjul Beach, Ceningan Kangin Hamlet, Lembongan Village, Klungkung Regency Nusa Ceningan with an area of 306 hectares has the potential as a place for tourism development, one of which is Munjul Bias marine tourism. Thus, this study aims to analyze perceptions and determine the factors supporting and inhibiting the development of marine tourism at Bias Munjul Beach, Lembongan Village. The research was conducted at Bias Munjul marine tourism from the end of April to July 2021. Data was collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The data analysis used is a qualitative-quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the overall level of perception could be categorized as "Strongly Agree". Then, the supporting factors for the development of Bias Munjul marine tourism are the tourist attractions, the availability of sea transportation, and the high participation of the community. Meanwhile, the biggest inhibiting factor is accessibility and government support. Suggestions that can be given are to immediately improve internal management, increase promotions, optimize facility maintenance, and immediately resolve road access problems, so as to support the development of Bias Munjul marine tourism in the future.

Abstract

Millenialls Perception Of Work in Agricultural Sector (Case Study in Dalang Village, Selemadeg Timur District, Tabanan Regency). Millennials refers to generation of people born between 1980 until 2000 and characterized by high frequency use of technology, information and communication. The growth of technology, information and communication not only give positive effects to millennials, but also negative effects such as millennials’ bad perception of agriculture. The aims of this research are to analyze millennials’ perception on agriculture and also the reason of millennials working in agriculture in Dalang Village, Selemadeg Timur District, Tabanan Regency. A total sample of 84 persons were selected using non-proportional stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data were collected using survey method and descriptive statistic is used to analyze the data. This research shows that millennials’ perception of agriculture is bad, which mean they think that working in agricultural sector can’t give job satisfaction. This research also shows that millennials’ reasons to work in agricultural sector are because they lost their job during pandemic Covid-19, the lack of education and skills. Agriculture jobs is chosen to continue managing their family agricultural land as the last chances.

Abstract

Dynamics Of Farmer Group in Belanting Village, Sambelia District, East Lombok Regency. Farmer group dynamics cover all activities which include initiative, creative power, and concrete actions taken by administrators and members of farmer groups in implementing agreed group work plan. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of farmer groups in Belanting Village, Sambelia District, East Lombok Regency. Locations were selected by purposive sampling. The number of samples is 100 respondents who taken with a probability sampling technique that is proportionate random sampling with using Slovin's. Data collection is sourced from primary data and secondary data using interviews and documentation. Variables were measured by ordinal scale and interval scale which were analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the dynamics of all farmer groups in the village of Belanting is categorized as dynamic with the highest score from the Mele Pacu Farmer Group and a score of The lowest is the Tekad Sejahtera Farmer Group with a total percentage value of 96.30%. This dynamic demonstrated by strong interaction and cooperation to achieve group goals. Group dynamics must be maintained and are expected to increase responsibility administrators and group members.

Abstract

The Effectiveness Of Instagram As a Communication Media for Kumulilir Agrotourism Marketing in Sebatu Village, Tegalalang District, Gianyar Regency. Marketing communication is an effort to make all marketing and promotional activities of the company to create an image or image that is one and consistent for consumers, so that consumers can get to know products/services, become interested and make purchases. The results of the study show several things. First, the characteristics who accessing the Instagram account @kumulilir are mostly women with an age range of 17-26 years with a Diploma/Bachelor level of education. Second, Instagram @kumulilir as a visual marketing communication medium is in the Attractive category. Third, analysis of Instagram @kumulilir as a marketing communication showed effective results through the measurement of the AIDA concept. This shows that the use of Instagram as a marketing communication medium is effective in introducing a business, providing explanations and being able to influence and attract consumers to visit through the content uploaded on the Agrowisata Kumulilir Instagram account. Kumulilir Agrotourism is suggested to be more intense in uploading content that contains information related to activities and matters related to Kumulilir Agrotourism so as to create tourist interest to visit.
