Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies of Qur’an learning services through social media in an effort to increase the number of students at the Qur’an30Challenge institution. The background of this research is based on the high rate of Qur’anic illiteracy in Indonesia and the growing competition among online learning institutions that utilize social media as a promotional tool. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving institutional leaders and students. Data analysis was conducted descriptively through a triangulation approach to ensure data validity and reliability. The results of the study indicate that the marketing strategies implemented by Qur’an30Challenge generally meet digital marketing standards and have had a positive impact on increasing student enrollment. However, several aspects still require development, such as market segmentation expansion, pricing adjustments, brand communication consistency, long-term evaluation, promotional budget optimization, the use of influencers, as well as content innovation and service quality improvement. This study underscores the importance of adapting marketing strategies to the dynamics of social media and consumer behavior as a key factor for the success of online learning institutions.

Abstract

The formation of religious character is an essential aspect of character education, emphasizing thoughts, words, and actions grounded in religious values. In dormitory-based schools, the dormitory supervisors play a crucial role as substitute parents, teachers, and role models for students. This study explores the parenting patterns used by dormitory supervisors at SMP Insan Cendekia Madani in shaping students' religious character. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that religious character development requires structured strategies, including exemplary methods, habituation, direct practice, prayer, and affection. The study also identifies challenges from students' internal conditions, parental upbringing inconsistencies, and environmental factors. An adaptive and situational parenting style, tailored to students' characteristics, proves effective. The research concludes that dormitory parenting patterns significantly contribute to enhancing students' religious character and offers insights for better management in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Qur’anic teachers in delivering instruction to learners across various age groups within formal Islamic educational institutions. The research is motivated by the absence of standardized professional criteria for Qur’anic educators, which has contributed to inconsistent teaching practices, instructional challenges, and varying interpretive outcomes among students. The study aims to (1) identify the key factors that influence Qur’anic teachers’ performance and (2) explore the strategies implemented by school leaders to enhance instructional quality. Using a qualitative design, data were gathered through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving Qur’anic teachers, students, and institutional administrators. The credibility of the data was strengthened through prolonged engagement, persistent observation, and methodological triangulation. The findings indicate that effective Qur’anic teaching performance is demonstrated through strong content mastery, the application of appropriate pedagogical strategies, and the ability to address students’ inquiries using reliable scholarly sources. The study highlights the importance of clearly defined performance standards and targeted professional development initiatives in enhancing the overall quality of Qur’anic education.
