Abstract

Latar belakang: Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) merupakan perbuatan terhadap seseorang yang berakibat timbulnya kesengsaraan atau penderitaan fisik, seksual, psikologi dan atau penelantaran rumah tangga termasuk ancaman untuk melakukan perbuatan, pemaksaan, atau perampasan kemerdekaan dalam ruang lingkup keluarga. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berbasis urgensi yang berbasis data, dimana terdapat 1 diantara 3 perempuan Indonesia mengalami KDRT, korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga mencapai 1340 kasus tahun 2022, tahun 2024 kekerasan dilakukan oleh suami, pacar/teman dan bahkan orang tua sebanyak 494 kasus. Persoalan ini sangat urgen, dan harus menjadi perhatian program pendampingan masyarakat untuk civitas akademika. Banyak dampak yang ditimbulkan jika KDRT tidak di tekan angka kasusnya dan dicegah, diantaranya akan berakibat pada melemahnya peran perempuan dalam pembangunan, meningkatnya stunting dan kasus perceraian. Program pengmas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kepercayaan diri perempuan melalui pemberdayaan dengan konsep sisterhood agar KDRT dapat dicegah dan ditanggulangi. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan sosialisasi, pelatihan keterampilan komunikasi, membangun jaringan dan pelatihan pemberdayaan ekonomi. Pelaksanaan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini dihadiri oleh perempuan perempuan yang terkoordinir dengan baik oleh organisasi masyarakat yaitu PKK atau yang disebut dengan pemberdayaan kesejahteraan keluarga. dihadiri oleh 55 orang perempuan di balai desa Tejoasri. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa antusiasme perempuan dalam mengikuti sosialisasi pencegahan KDRT ini cukup baik, mereka menyimak dan banyak yang bertanya sesi tanya jawab. Kesimpulan: Dukungan kerjasama para pihak terutama pemerintah desa juga memberikan dukungan baik secara sarana dan prasarana dalam menekan angka kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, kader PKK Desa Tejoasri berperan aktif dalam memberikan pendampingan jika ada korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga di desa Tejoasri.

Abstract

This article analyzes the myth of beauty within the “UNEJ Cantik” community, focusing on its members' efforts to achieve the ideal concept of beauty. The research highlights the collective and horizontal interactions among community members in shaping beauty standards, a perspective that is less commonly discussed compared to studies emphasizing the role of individuals or influencers in establishing beauty norms. Using the netnography method, data were collected through observations and in-depth interviews with community members, comprising 10 core informants, 5 additional informants, and 2 account administrators. The findings reveal that the community's ideal beauty standards include glowing skin, a slim body, straight hair, and natural makeup. These standards are influenced by three main contexts: mass media (including social media), Dutch colonial heritage, and the local Pandhalungan culture. To achieve these standards, community members engage in various practices such as using skincare products, undergoing whitening injections, getting hair treatments, and getting eyelash extensions. This phenomenon reflects the tension between students' rational aspirations and the exploitation by the beauty market, as well as the clash between local values and global aesthetics. Thus, this study aims to foster critical awareness of the social pressures arising from the homogenization of modern beauty standards.

Abstract

Domestic violence (KDRT) is a social issue that requires serious attention, especially at the community level. This community service activity was carried out in Tejoasri Village, Lamongan on July 13, 2024. This research aims to build awareness and strengthen the role of family support cadres in efforts to prevent domestic violence in Village. The method used is a participatory approach involving PKK cadres as the main subject in empowerment activities. This program includes outreach about the types of domestic violence, its impact on families, as well as prevention strategies through education and mediation. The results of the service showed that after the training, there was an increase in cadres' understanding of domestic violence and their role as agents of change in their respective environments. Cadres are able to identify signs of domestic violence, provide education to vulnerable families, and build networks with related parties such as village officials and social service institutions. This program proves that empowering family support cadres can be a strategic step to create a community that is more caring and responsive to the issue of domestic violence.

Abstract

In the study of critical social science, knowledge produced by humans or society has never been a neutral or objective phenomenon. Human knowledge as a product of culture is always associated with power. In Foucault's language, human knowledge itself contains power. The socio-cultural reality formed by human beings is also inseparable from politics-power. Where there is a relation, there is power. Culture Studies helps us to understand and analyze socio-cultural realities critically. The theoretical point of culture studies is the critical social theory of Marxism. Culture Studies, is a critical social theory that seeks to construct everyday life, which is closely related to contemporary culture, political ideology, class, gender, ethnicity and so on. Culture Studies is a study of cultural reality that uses a multidisciplinary approach and is an interdisciplinary critical theory. Theoretically and practically, Culture studies not only attempt to dismantle the hegemonic-veloatif cultural products, but also build a critical awareness of the emporwering community that is more visible to the community which is egalitarian

Abstract

This article aims to examine the practice of religious inclusivity in the Religious Moderation Village (Kampung Moderasi Beragama or KMB) of Senduro Village, Lumajang Regency. Known for its religious and cultural diversity, Senduro has become an important example of implementing principles of religious moderation in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with religious leaders, community leaders, and village residents, as well as through participatory observation. The study’s findings reveal that KMB Senduro has successfully fostered a harmonious and inclusive environment through interfaith dialogue, joint activities, local wisdom, and supporting factors, which include inclusive and visionary leadership from the village head, religious figures, and community leaders. These findings further underscore the importance of interfaith cooperation and understanding in maintaining peace and social harmony in a multicultural society like Indonesia, especially in Lumajang Regency.

Abstract

Untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang pelaksanaan UU No 6 tahun 2014 terhadap aparatur desa Desa sebagaimana yang termuat dalam Undang-Undang No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa merupakan kesatuan masyarakat hukum yang memiliki batas wilayah yang berwenang untuk mengatur dan mengurus urusan pemerintahan, kepentingan masyarakat setempat berdasarkan prakarsa masyarakat, hak asal usul, dan/atau hak tradisional yang diakui dan diormati dalam sistem pemerintahan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Undang-Undang No 6 tahun 2014 ini memberikan wewenang yang cukup luas kepada desa dalam mengatur rumah tangga pemerintahan di desa, sebagaiman yang ditegaskan dalam pasal 18. Bagaimana desa menjalankan kewenangan dan otonominya untuk mewjudkan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif yaitu menggambarkan dan menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari fakta dan data di lapangan. Pengumpulan data-data dilakukan melalui studi lapangan terhadap tata kelola pemerintahan desa di Desa Paciran Lamongan. Selain itu data pula dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam yang dilakukan dan masyarakat desa. Adapun Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan pemerintahan Desa Paciran Kabupaten Lamongan dalam rangka pengelolaan pemerintahan berbasis otonomi desa dapat berjalan relatif baik. Hhal ini ditunjukkan dengan kebijakan pengelolaan keuangan desa yang sudah lebih berfokus pada pembangunan desa yaitu pembangunan infrastruktur, pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pemerintahan. Selain itu pembangunan desa juga melibatkan peran serta masyarakat desa, sehingga pembangunan mulai perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, masyarakat memiliki peran aktif untuk mengawasi dan mengevaluasi pembangunan desa.

Abstract

This study examines religious inclusivity through non-artificial social interactions from the perspective of the sociology of religion, focusing on the lived religious experiences of the Senduro Village community in Lumajang Regency, East Java. In Indonesia’s plural religious landscape, social harmony among religious groups often relies on formal regulations and symbolic tolerance. However, Senduro Village presents a distinctive case in which interreligious harmony is sustained through organic, everyday social practices rooted in historical experience, cultural traditions, and collective consciousness. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method, this research explores how non-artificial social interactions shape inclusive religious life. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with religious leaders, community figures, and residents from different religious backgrounds, as well as documentation of social and religious activities. The data were analyzed thematically using qualitative triangulation to capture the social meanings embedded in interreligious relations. The findings reveal that religious inclusivity in Senduro is not merely symbolic but is deeply embedded in social practices such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), shared participation in religious and cultural rituals, and collective economic activities. Interfaith involvement in traditions like the Ogoh-Ogoh procession, Jolen ritual, and village communal events illustrates how religious differences are negotiated through everyday interactions rather than institutional arrangements. From a sociological perspective, these practices function as social capital, reinforcing trust, solidarity, and moral commitment across religious boundaries. This study concludes that non-artificial social interactions play a crucial role in sustaining long-term religious harmony. Senduro Village serves as a sociological model of inclusive religiosity, demonstrating how local wisdom and historically rooted social relations can strengthen social cohesion and religious moderation in plural societies.

Abstract

This article examines the optimization of Village Fund Allocation (Alokasi Dana Desa/ADD) in the development of a religious-based tourism village in Senduro Village, Lumajang Regency. Village Fund Allocation (ADD) is a village fiscal policy instrument aimed at promoting village independence through development, community empowerment, and strengthening the local economy. This article aims to analyze the optimization of ADD use in the development of a religious-based tourism village in Senduro Village, Lumajang Regency. The research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach using the case study method. Data was collected through field observation, in-depth interviews with religious leaders, community figures, and residents of various faiths, as well as supporting documentation. Data was analyzed qualitatively using triangulation techniques to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding. The results indicate that ADD in Senduro Village has been utilized as a stimulus for the development of religious tourism by focusing on strengthening supporting infrastructure, facilitating cultural and religious activities, and community empowerment based on local social capital. The presence of the Mandara Giri Semeru Agung Temple, the Ogoh-Ogoh Festival, Grebeg Suro, and the Sedekah Bumi (Jolen) tradition serve as major religious tourism attractions that not only strengthen the village's social and cultural identity but also provide economic impacts for the community through the growth of people's businesses and home industries. Although the ADD allocation for religious tourism activities is relatively limited in nominal terms, it has managed to generate a multiplier effect thanks to the high levels of participation, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and interfaith tolerance deeply embedded in the social life of Senduro Village. This finding confirms that ADD optimization is not solely determined by the budget amount, but rather by the effectiveness of management, community participation, and the village's ability to integrate economic development with social, cultural, and religious values. Therefore, the development of the religious-based tourism village in Senduro can be viewed as a model of sustainable, inclusive village development oriented towards socio-economic independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of legal dualism in agrarian conflicts of the Bongkoran land, Wongsorejo, Banyuwangi Regency. Agrarian conflicts are structural conflicts, one of which originates from legal conflicts; state law and people's law. There are different legal bases used by state/government, corporation, and society. Government and companies rely more on the legal-formal (de jure) aspect, that land ownership and control rights are based on formal laws and procedures, that is proof of concession permit (HGU or HGB). Meanwhile, the community relies more on the socio-historical aspect, that the community has lived in, controlled, and used the land communally and for generations (de facto). This research focuses on how the practice of legal dualism in agrarian conflicts in the land of Bongkoran Wongsorejo. This study uses a legal sociology approach with a participatory method. The results showed; Legal dualism in agrarian conflicts has contrasting characteristics and characters that are difficult to be compromised and resolved fairly. The strong domination and hegemony of state law over the people's law, making the conflict more sharpened, people's rights over land increasingly seized, and often lead to acts of violence. There needs to be equal dialogue and communication between the (law) of the state and the (law) of the people in an intense and deliberative manner to produce a more just consensus (legal product). Settlement of agrarian conflicts is not enough to use legalistic-positivistic state legal instruments, but it is need to pay attention to community law that has local wisdom and is more oriented towards justice aspect Key Words : Legal Dualism, Agrarian Conflict, Bongkoran Land, Banyuwangi Regency AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik dualisme hukum dalam konflik agraria di tanah Bongkoran, Wongsorejo, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Konflik agraria merupakan konflik struktural yang salah satunya bersumber dari konflik hukum; hukum negara dan hukum rakyat. Dasar hukum yang digunakan oleh negara/pemerintah, korporasi, dan masyarakat berbeda-beda. Pemerintah dan perusahaan lebih mengandalkan aspek legal-formal (de jure), bahwa hak penguasaan dan penguasaan tanah didasarkan pada hukum dan prosedur formal, yaitu bukti izin pengusahaan (HGU atau HGB). Sedangkan masyarakat lebih mengandalkan aspek sosio-historis, bahwa masyarakat telah mendiami, menguasai, dan menggunakan tanah secara komunal dan turun-temurun (de facto). Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana praktik dualisme hukum dalam konflik agraria di tanah Bongkoran Wongsorejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi hukum dengan metode partisipatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan; Dualisme hukum dalam konflik agraria memiliki sifat dan karakter yang bertolak belakang sehingga sulit untuk dikompromikan dan diselesaikan secara adil. Kuatnya dominasi dan hegemoni hukum negara atas hukum rakyat, membuat konflik semakin menajam, hak rakyat atas tanah semakin direbut, dan tak jarang berujung pada tindakan kekerasan. Perlu adanya dialog dan komunikasi yang setara antara (hukum) negara dan (hukum) rakyat secara intens dan musyawarah untuk menghasilkan konsensus (produk hukum) yang lebih berkeadilan. Penyelesaian konflik agraria tidak cukup menggunakan instrumen hukum negara legalistik-positivistik, tetapi perlu memperhatikan hukum masyarakat yang memiliki kearifan lokal dan lebih berorientasi pada aspek keadilan. Kata Kunci : Dualisme Hukum, Konflik Agraria, Tanah Bongkoran, Kabupaten Banyuwangi.
