Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam mempelajari materi pokok fluida statis dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah di kelas XI semester ganjil SMA Negeri 14 Medan T.P.2018/2019.. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan two group pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini  adalah seluruh kelas XI IPA SMA N 14 Medan tahun pembelajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa adalah tes hasil belajar berbentuk essay dengan jumlah 10 soal yang sudah divalidasi oleh validator, lembar penilaian dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Rata-rata data pretest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu 34,63 dan 31,23. Rata-rata data postest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu 74,03 dan 51,96. Analisis dari data pretest dan postest diperoleh bahwa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil uji t dua pihak diperoleh  dan , hal ini menyatakan bahwa  yang memiliki arti bahwa kedua sampel memiliki kemampuan awal yang sama. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t satu pihak α = 0,05 dan dk = 58 diperoleh dan , sehingga  maka hipotesis (H0) ditolak dan terima hipotesis (Ha ) dengan demikian ada peningkatan yang signifikan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi pokok fluida statis di SMA N 14 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok suhu dan kalor di kelas XI semester I SMA Negeri 8 Medan tahun ajaran 2018/2019.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan two group pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA N 8 Medan tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI MIPA 5 yang terdiri dari 25 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kelas XI MIPA 6 yang terdiri dari 25 orang sebagai kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa adalah tes hasil belajar berbetuk essay dengan jumlah 8 soal yang sudah divalidasi, lembar penilaian aktivitas belajar siswa, dan penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data pretes dan postes diperoleh bahwa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil uji t dua pihak diperoleh  dan , hal ini menyatakan bahwa  yang memiliki arti bahwa kedua sampel memiliki kemampuan awal yang sama. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t satu pihak α = 0,05 dan dk = 48 diperoleh dan , sehingga  maka hipotesis (H0) ditolak dan terima hipotesis (Ha ) dengan demikian ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor di SMA Negeri 8 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on high school students’ science process skills. The type of research used is a quasi experimental research design with a two group pretest posttest design. The population used was students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam, totaling 2 classes. The research sample consisted of two classes, the class taken was XI MIA I as the experimental class and XI MIA III as the control class. The instrument used is a science process skills test in the form of an essay consisting of 10 questions that hav been declared valid by the validator. Based on the results of the study, the average pretest score for the experimental class was 20,68 and the pretest for the control class 18,85. The results of testing the hypothesis showed that a significant value of 0,411 >  0,05 otherwise  is accepted or both classes have the same initial abilities. After applying the Project Based Learning model, the average posttest score of the experimental class was 77,68 and that of the control class was 64,71. The results of testing the hypothesis showed that a significant value of 0,00 < = 0,05, it is stated that  is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence of the Project Based Learning model on student’s science process skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and ability of learners to the instruments developed. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantarcarriedin the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The type of research used is R & D (Reaserch and Development) using 3D models. The study was conducted on students who have studied static electricity materials. The samples used in this study were 36 students from Class XII-IPA 3 taken byrandom sampling. Data collection techniques in this study is by way of interviews, tests, and provide a response questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the person correlation equation with diagnostic tests. The results of this study is a test instrument to measure the ability of students in SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar on static electricity as many as 20 items of diagnostic questionsthree tier multiple choice. The item is already valid measured by the estimated product moment, has a high level of reliability with a value of 0.712, the difficulty level of the item is good. The results of the analysis of the problem items and the analysis of the ability of students showed that the test instruments used are effective in measuring the ability of students in SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar on static electricity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah media peta 3D berbasis kearifan lokal yang valid dan praktis pada tema indahnya keragaman di negeriku. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan desain ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 309 Ujung Bassiang Kabupaten Luwu. Objek penelitian ini adalah media peta 3D yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa peta 3D dilengkapi dengan ensiklopedia 3 Kota dan 21 Kabupaten dan juga tongkat Kabupaten. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan pemberian angket kepada pendidik dan peserta didik. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil analisis kebutuhan dalam pembelajaran berlangsung diperlukan inovasi baru terkait media pembelajaran berupa peta 3D terkhusus pada tema indahnya keragaman di negeriku. Adapun proses pengembangan media tersebut dibuat berdasarkan model ADDIE. Serta untuk kevalidan media peta 3D yang divalidasi oleh 2 orang ahli, yaitu ahli media dengan nilai 81,8% (kategori sangat valid), dan ahli materi dengan nilai 87,50% (kategori sangat valid), persentase rata-rata nilai dari kedua validator sebesar 84,65% (kategori sangat valid). Untuk uji praktikalitas diperoleh hasil dari peserta didik sebesar 91,23% dan dari pendidik sebesar 95%. Pengembangan media peta 3D ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pembelajaran siswa, meningkatkan pemahaman tentang kearifan lokal, dan mempertahankan identitas budaya di tengah arus globalisasi. Penerapan media ini juga mencerminkan kolaborasi yang harmonis antara guru dan siswa dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan bermakna.

Abstract

This research was carried out to know the distribution of subsurface magnetic anomalies and determine the type and content of rocks based on susceptibility values in the geothermal area of Payung village, Karo district. Field measurements use PPM (Proto Precision Magnetometer), GPS (Global Position System) and compass. The data was processed using Mag2dc and surfer 13 software, to obtain susceptibility results. Determination of rock content was tested using XRD (X-Ray Diffraction). Geomagnetic data collection in the field at 40 measurement points. The research results show that there are variations in magnetic field strength at each point with values ranging from 20 nT to 380 nT. This shows that the geothermal area in Payung village has a susceptibility value ranging from 0.0013 x to 0.0088 x and is igneous rock in the form of andesite lava rock and pyroclastic rock. Igneous rocks and pyroclastic rocks are the building blocks of geothermal energy in the research area. The minerals that make up the rocks of the geothermal area in Payung village are the minerals, Asbecasite () and the mineral Quartz (). The mineral has an orthorhombic crystal system with crystal size a= 12.2842Å b= 7.6537Å c= 7.5151Å. The crystal system of the Asbecasite mineral is trigonal (hexagonal axes) with crystal size a= 8.3180Å c= 15.2640Å. Quartz with a triclinic (anorthic) system with crystal size a= 9.9320Å b= 17.2160Å c= 81.8640Å.

Abstract

A research has been conducted on the identification of subsurface structure of landslide area using geoelectric and geomagnetic methods in Pangambatan Village, Merek District, Karo Regency. The research aims to determine the subsurface structure, causes of landslides and indicators of landslides. Geo-electrical measurements were taken using ARES-G4 v4.7 (Automatic Resistivity System) and GPS (Global Position System) with three passes. Each track has a total of 16 electrodes with a distance of 5 meters for each electrode. The geomagnetic method uses a PPM (Proton Procession Magnetometer) type GSM-19T. Data collection with the number of points obtained 25 measuring points. The results showed that the subsurface structure using geoelectricity contained alluvium, sand, gravel, silt, groundwater, sandstone, limestone and andesite rock types. The resistivity value of the first track ranges from 500-2000 Ωm, the second track is 50-4,500 Ωm, and the third track is 200-1,500 Ωm. Based on geomagnetic research, there are rock types with susceptibility values of sandstone (0.0010; 0.0015) cgs, limestone (0.0030) cgs and clay (0.0020) cgs. The causes of landslides in the research location are sand, gravel, alluvium and clay as landslide-carrying materials, while sandstone and limestone as sliding planes. Soil indicators that cause landslides based on geoelectric results are the second track with a difference of two layers of contrasting resistivity values. And geomagnet results with low susceptibility values.

Abstract

Guru Kinayan, located at the foothills of mount Sinabung in Karo regency, is characterized by several geothermal manifestations, highlighting the necessity of studying its geothermal potential. This research aims to assess the geothermal prospects of the area through 2-D electrical resistivity, geomagnetic surveys, and (XRD) methods. To acquire 2-D resistivity data, a Wenner Schlumberger array with a 5-meter electrode spacing was utilized, and the data were processed using Res2Dinv. Geomagnetic surveys were conducted using a PPM, with the results analyzed using Mag2dc and Surfer 13 to determine susceptibility results. The analysis of rock composition was performed using XRD. The 2-D resistivity results indicated resistivity values ranging from 1 to 1250 Ωm. Values between 1 and 20 Ωm indicated as alluvium, indicating a reservoir for geothermal, while resistivity values >1000 indicates as limestone, which indicated as a heat conductor. The magnetic residual map shows geomagnetic values (20 to 380 nT), suggesting a geothermal source, and the susceptibility values ranging (0.0013 x 10³ to 0.0088 x 10³) indicates the presence of igneous rocks, specifically andesite lava and pyroclastic rocks. The XRD results show arsenopirit and quartz in the geothermal area. Based on the integrated results, the study area has significant geothermal potential.

Abstract

Butterflies are flower visitors and are important for plant pollinators. This research aimed to analyze the food plant preferences of butterflies and analyze the correlation between butterfly proboscis and flower corolla tube lengths.  Observations of butterflies were carried out at four locations within Dramaga campus area of Bogor Agricultural University from March to April 2024. The results showed 23 species of butterflies were observed on the flowers of eighteen plant species. Hesperiids and Nymphalids butterflies were found dominantly. The shrub plant, Lantana camara is the most visited by butterflies (8 species), followed by Saraca indica (6 species), and Turnera ulmifolia (5 species). Butterflies prefer to visit tubular shape and purple color of flowers. Based on the correlation analysis, there was no significant correlation between the butterfly proboscis and the flower corolla tube lengths.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan ChatGPT sebagai asisten pembelajaran dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di kalangan mahasiswa. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk memahami pengalaman, persepsi, dan efektivitas penggunaan ChatGPT dalam menunjang pemahaman materi PAI. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 20 mahasiswa program studi Pariwisata  yang aktif menggunakan ChatGPT selama satu semester. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ChatGPT membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep keagamaan secara lebih interaktif, menyediakan penjelasan cepat dan variatif, serta mendukung proses belajar mandiri. Namun, keterbatasan seperti potensi bias informasi dan keterbatasan kontekstual keislaman menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi teknologi AI secara kritis dan kolaboratif dalam pembelajaran PAI di perguruan tinggi.
