Abstract

Diabetes mellitus adalah suatu penyakit yang disebabkan oleh adanya peningkatan kadar glukosa darah akibat kekurangan insulin baik absolut maupun relatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antidiabetes ekstrak etanol daun babandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) terhadap mencit putih (Mus musculus L.) jantan yang diinduksi aloksan. Penginduksi yang digunakan adalah aloksan monohidrat 175 mg/kgBB secara intraperitonial. Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah kadar glukosa darah, berat badan, volume air minum 24 jam dan volume urin 24 jam. Sebanyak 30 ekor mencit dibagi secara acak ke dalam 6 kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok 1 merupakan kelompok normal yaitu mencit dengan kadar glukosa darah < 200 mg/dL dan hanya diberikan makan atau minum saja, kelompok 2 merupakan kontrol negatif yaitu mencit diabetes yang diberikan Na CMC 1%, kelompok 3 merupakan kontrol positif yaitu mencit diabetes yang diberikan glibenklamid 0,65 mg/kgBB dan kelompok 4, 5, 6 merupakan kelompok mencit diabetes yang diberikan ekstrak etanol daun babandotan dosis 200, 400 dan 600 mg/kgBB. Ekstrak etanol daun babandotan diberikan satu kali sehari selama 15 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak etanol daun babandotan dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah secara signifikan (p < 0,05) pada mencit diabetes, pada pengamatan berat badan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (p < 0,05) apabila dibandingkan dengan kontrol negatif dan terjadi penurunan volume air minum 24 jam (p < 0,05) serta penurunan volume urin 24 jam (p < 0,05).

Abstract

Knowledge of traditional medicine is important for the formation of a person's activity in using traditional medicine. Preliminary studies conducted show the level of public knowledge about traditional medicine in the less category. This can be caused by a lack of desire to seek information and lack of education from health workers. For this reason, educational media such as e-booklets are needed. This study aims to see the level of public knowledge about traditional medicine after being given an e-booklet. This study uses a preexperimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is the residents of Karimun Regency who have used traditional medicine. The sample of this study was 150 respondents who were determined using purposive sampling method. The inclusion criteria for the study were that the respondent was at least 18 years old, had used traditional medicine with the logo and was registered with BPOM for at least the last 3 months, could use a smartphone and was willing to be a respondent. The research instrument is e-booklet media and knowledge questionnaire. The knowledge questionnaire used has been tested for validity and reliability (obtained 20 valid questions with an r value of 0.881). Uni-variate data analysis to describe the level of knowledge and bi-variate analysis was carried out for the analysis of changes in pretest and post-test knowledge scores using the Wilcoxon test. The results obtained before giving the e-booklet are good knowledge as much as 6.6%, sufficient as much as 55.4% and less as much as 38% while after being given the e-booklet the knowledge of respondents with good category is 55.4%, enough is 38% and less as much as 6.6%. Bi-variate analysis obtained p value 0.000. It can be concluded that the given media has a significant effect on respondents knowledge.

Abstract

Quality management in education is crucial to improving the quality of Islamic education, especially in private Islamic schools. This study identifies the implementation, challenges, and solutions for quality management in education at Al Azhar Islamic School in Bukittinggi. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and analysis of relevant documents. Data analysis is processed through reduction, presentation, and verification to draw conclusions, with data validation using triangulation. The results of the study show that there are several stages or phases in the implementation of quality management in Islamic education at Al Azhar Islamic School. The first phase is the preparation phase of quality management, which includes forming a quality management team, stating the vision and principles as guidelines, and conducting a strengths and weaknesses analysis. The second phase is the planning phase of quality management, which includes planning the implementation of quality management in education and forming a management implementation team. The third phase is the implementation phase of quality management, which includes teaching processes, learning evaluation, resource management, and program monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis relevansi dan efektivitas teori tindakan sosial Max Weber dalam manajemen pendidikan karakter di Pondok Pesantren Al Azhar Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis relevansi teori tindakan sosial Max Weber dalam manajemen pendidikan karakter siswa di Pondok Pesantren Al Azhar Bukittinggi. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk menggali pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana kategori tindakan sosial Weber yang meliputi tindakan rasional-instrumental, rasional-nilai, afektif, dan tradisional diterapkan dalam pendidikan karakter. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Al Azhar Bukittinggi telah berhasil menerapkan berbagai pendekatan tindakan sosial menurut Max Weber untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang berintegritas. Melalui tindakan rasional-instrumental, pihak sekolah menanamkan kedisiplinan dengan pemahaman tentang nilai intrinsik dari peraturan. Tindakan rasional-nilai diintegrasikan untuk mendorong siswa menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai moral dan etika sebagai bagian dari jati dirinya. Tindakan afektif berperan penting dalam membangun dukungan emosional melalui hubungan empati antara guru dan siswa, sehingga tercipta lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman bagi pengembangan karakter siswa. Selain itu, tindakan tradisional yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai agama dan budaya lokal menjadi landasan yang memperkaya pendidikan karakter, mendorong peserta didik untuk tumbuh sebagai pribadi yang berprestasi, berakhlak mulia, dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide an in-depth understanding of the extent of employee job satisfaction at Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach to analyze employee job satisfaction at Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi. The study population included all school employees, with a sample randomly selected for representativeness. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire that explored factors such as salary, work environment, recognition, career development, work-life balance, relationship with superiors, duties and responsibilities, intrinsic motivation, and satisfaction with management. The results of this study show that Employees at Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi show a significant level of job satisfaction, reflected in the main factors that influence their well-being at work. Fair pay and compensation is one of the main drivers of satisfaction, which includes not only financial rewards but also appreciation for contributions made. In addition, a safe, clean and comfortable working environment plays an important role in creating a conducive working atmosphere. Supportive facilities such as good ventilation, adequate lighting, and maintained physical conditions provide a sense of comfort for employees in carrying out their daily tasks. In addition to external factors, internal aspects such as recognition for good performance and opportunities for career development also play an important role in increasing job satisfaction. Awards in the form of praise, certificates or bonuses for outstanding achievements provide additional motivation for employees. In addition, the existence of clear avenues for career growth and self-development demonstrates the institution's commitment to supporting employees' professional advancement. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang sejauh mana tingkat kepuasan kerja pegawai di Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis kepuasan kerja pegawai di Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh pegawai sekolah, dengan sampel dipilih secara acak untuk representativitas. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur yang mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor seperti gaji, lingkungan kerja, pengakuan, pengembangan karier, keseimbangan kerja-kehidupan, hubungan dengan atasan, tugas dan tanggung jawab, motivasi intrinsik, dan kepuasan terhadap manajemen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pegawai di Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan kerja yang signifikan, tercermin dari faktor-faktor utama yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan mereka di tempat kerja. Gaji dan kompensasi yang adil menjadi salah satu pendorong utama kepuasan, yang tidak hanya mencakup imbalan finansial tetapi juga penghargaan atas kontribusi yang diberikan. Selain itu, lingkungan kerja yang aman, bersih, dan nyaman turut berperan penting dalam menciptakan suasana kerja yang kondusif. Fasilitas yang mendukung seperti ventilasi yang baik, pencahayaan yang memadai, dan kondisi fisik yang terjaga memberikan rasa nyaman bagi pegawai dalam menjalankan tugas sehari-hari mereka. Selain faktor eksternal, aspek internal seperti pengakuan atas kinerja yang baik dan peluang untuk pengembangan karier juga memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Penghargaan berupa pujian, sertifikat, atau bonus untuk pencapaian yang luar biasa memberikan motivasi tambahan bagi pegawai. Di samping itu, adanya jalan yang jelas untuk pertumbuhan karier dan pengembangan diri menunjukkan komitmen lembaga dalam mendukung kemajuan profesional pegawai.

Abstract

Increasing number of cases of COVID-19 currently requiring the community to make more efforts to carry out various preventive efforts. One of the efforts that can be done to prevent COVID-19 is to maintain and increase the body's immunity which can be assisted by the use of multivitamins and health supplements. This study aims to examine public knowledge about the use of multivitamins and health supplements in Pekanbaru family pharmacies during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive observational study with concurrent data collection techniques through online questionnaires. The sampling technique in this study was carried out by non-probability sampling with purposive sampling method. The sample in this study is the people of Pekanbaru City who meet the inclusion criteria with a total of 110 respondents. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis which aims to explain or describe the characteristics of each research variable, so that the results obtained that people who have good knowledge are 54.64%, people who have sufficient knowledge are 43.63%, and people who have good knowledge have less knowledge is as much as 1.81%. The high percentage of respondents with good knowledge shows that most people in Pekanbaru City already have good knowledge about the use of multivitamins and health supplements during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Pharmaceutical service analysis activities are needed to maintain existing excellence and consistently improve quality services in dimensions that are still lacking in assessment standards so that when the level of customer satisfaction has not been achieved, of course this will be an important focus for pharmacy management in order to improve the quality of satisfaction with services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of customer satisfaction with services at Apotek Keluarga 3 Stifar. This study is a retrospective study with a cross-sectional method with sampling that meets the criteria by purposive sampling of customers who buy medicine. This research instrument uses the Servqual Concept which will focus on 3 dimensions, including the dimensions of Responsiveness, Reliability and Empathy, in each of which 3 question points are arranged based on the form of service that has been provided by employees of the Pharmacy Family 3 Stifar Riau to customers. The evaluation results show the level of customer satisfaction responsiveness (responsiveness) is included in the very satisfied category (85%), Reliability (reliability) 84% is included in the Very Satisfied category and Empathy 87% (Very Satisfied). Based on the evaluation of customer satisfaction assessed based on the dimensions of Responsiveness, Reliability and Empathy, it is at the "Very Satisfactory" level, with an average value of the third dimension tested of 85%.

Abstract

Asma merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang ditandai dengan penyempitan dan peradangan saluran pernafasan. Penderita asma mempunyai peluang besar untuk mengalami komplikasi yang akan menambah kompleksitas pengobatan pada pasien, komplikasi yang terjadi pada pasien asma menyebabkan penderita menerima terapi beberapa obat sekaligus (polifarmasi) sehingga memiliki risiko terjadinya interaksi obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat potensi kejadian interaksi obat pada pasien asma rawat jalan selama periode Januari-Desember 2022. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara retrospektif dengan melihat rekam medis pasien asma. Hasil yang didapat dianalisis secara deksiptif dengan penapisan secara media online menggunakan situs Drugs.com dan Medscape.com serta penapisan dengan buku teks DIH dan Stockley’s Drug Interaction. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya potensi interaksi obat sebanyak 412 kasus. Jenis interaksi farmakokinetik sebesar 19,3%, farmakodinamik sebesar 58,9% dan unknown sebesar 21,8%. Berdasarkan severity terdapat interaksi major sebesar 2,4%, moderate sebesar 61,4% dan minor sebesar 36,2%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan model kepemimpinan yang diterapkan di Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi, serta menganalisis karakteristik khusus dari model, implementasi kepemimpinan Islami dalam kegiatan sehari-hari di sekolah tersebut dan menginvestigasi pengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung dari kepemimpinan terhadap prestasi akademik dan non-akademik siswa di Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami model kepemimpinan di Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi serta dampaknya terhadap prestasi siswa. Metode kualitatif deskriptif dipilih karena memungkinkan peneliti untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang mendalam dan komprehensif mengenai fenomena yang diteliti melalui pengumpulan data yang bersifat eksploratif dan interpretatif. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Implementasi kepemimpinan yang efektif di Sekolah Islam Al Azhar Bukittinggi memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap prestasi siswa. Kepemimpinan transformasional, instruksional, partisipatif, dan yang berorientasi pada pengembangan karakter mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, memotivasi siswa, meningkatkan kinerja akademik, dan mengembangkan karakter siswa secara holistik. Namun demikian, masih ada tantangan yang perlu diatasi, seperti konsistensi dalam penerapan pendekatan kepemimpinan dan pengelolaan sumber daya yang optimal. Penelitian ini memberikan pandangan yang mendalam tentang bagaimana kepemimpinan dapat menjadi katalisator perubahan positif dalam pendidikan, dan dapat menjadi pedoman bagi sekolah-sekolah lain yang ingin meningkatkan prestasi siswa melalui praktik kepemimpinan yang efektif.
