Abstract

ABSTRACT Coral triangle area is one of the centre world biodiversity. The region served as source of livelihood, coastal organism breeds location, and also contribute in address global warming issue. However, the coral triangle area, experienced severe damages caused by destructives human activity . Refers to the currents circumstance, Indonesia call for collective engagement to save the biodiversity in the region. The efforts finally resulted in the form of cooperation Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF) by the six member of CT6. Indonesia persistently make the CTI-CFF as fundamental building block for well established cooperation amongst state member in the region. This research would like to analyse the factor that triggered active role involvement by the Indonesia government in the CTI–CFF. There are several concept to be used in this research, such as rational model actor and internal-external factor. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aim to describe the strategy of ASEAN Capital Market Forum (ACMF) to encourage capital market integration process in ASEAN since 2008 until 2015. Capital market integration is the one of the agreement on ASEAN Economic Community blueprint. ACMF as an epistemic community or group of expert on the capital market established as a group to encourage the capital market integration process based on the 13th ASEAN Financial Ministers Meeting decision. As an epistemic community, the members of ACMF consists of all financial service authority institutions in ASEAN to use power as epistemic community for encourage capital market integration process. This research discovered that when ACMF implement their strategy, ACMF role as influence giver to the decision maker. This will be a qualitative-descriptive research and uses several concepts like the concept of capital market integration and influence mechanisms of epistemic community. Abstract

ABSTRACT One China Policy brought a dynamic impact on relationship between United State with People Republic of China (China) and Republic of China (Taiwan). United State government’s has taken an ambiguous outlook. United State Government’s more prefer helping Taiwan to prevent threat from China. A change on United State Foreign Policy are then shown in Obama administration. Under Obama Administration, The United State Government’s tried to re-establish the relationship with China and giving advice on Taiwan to make peace with China related to One China Policy. This research analyzes the driving factors behind the changing of United State Foreign Policy outlook toward China in Obama administration related to One China Policy. Data for this study were collected from various sources including: literary sources, news and reports. This analyzes shows that in there are three factor that changes United State Foreign Policy outlook toward China. Those are China rises and China as a new emerging power, economic crisis in 2008 and Asia regional security issue. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the efforts of the Indian Cultural Center (ICC) in implementing cultural diplomacy in Bali. India formed the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) whose duty was to play an active role in the cultural external affairs of India. To maximize its performance, the ICCR established a number of cultural centers in various countries as its sub centers. One of them is ICC in Bali. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research uses data collected through various sources including interviews, literature studies, reports and news. The data that has been obtained is analyzed with two concepts namely Cultural Diplomacy Tools and Three Secrets of Successful Cultural Diplomacy. The results of this research are the various efforts carried out by the ICC in its various programs and its commitment in working for the success of Indian cultural diplomacy in Bali.. Abstract

ABSTRACT In supporting efforts to bring about peace, ICJ always strives to provide the best solutions for countries that are involved in conflict. For example Thailand and Cambodia in a territorial disputes. This research will look at how ICJ through the PDZ mechanism helped Thailand and Cambodia to reach a point of peace after the conflict since the crowning of the historic Preah Vihear temple in 2008 by UNESCO, in 1962 the temple was legitimately owned by Cambodia but the ownership of the area around the temple is not yet clear. This research uses descriptive qualitative research using the concept of the role of international organizations. This concept analyzes ICJ policy and ASEAN's involvement as a mediator. Then it was found that the policies of the ICJ through the formation of the PDZ were able to encourage the two countries to stop armed clashes until finally finding a point of peace. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research explains the increase of Chinese batik exports to Indonesia after ACFTA 2010-2018.This study theoretically uses the conceptual framework of the competitive advantage of the Diamond Model from Michael E. Porter. The competitive advantage of batik products is an important factor for China in the bilateral trade between Indonesia and China in the ACFTA framework.Competitive advantage known as the Theory of the National Competitive Advantage of Industries. Its specially based on competitive strength analysis in the competition of the Chinese batik industry in the batik market share in Indonesia, the competitiveness factor determines the success of Chinese businesses in an effort to increase the export of Chinese batik to Indonesia. The increase in Chinese batik exports to Indonesia after the enactment of ACTA in 2010-2018. Chinese batik products having several competitive advantages compared to Indonesian batik products. Abstract

This research aims to explain Turkey's reason for purchasing Russian S-400 missile weapons in 2017, amidst its existence as a member of NATO and must be faced with CAATSA sanctions. Turkey’s decision to purchase S-400 Russia Missile weapons is classified as a unilateral act which actually violates the alliance agreement with the United States. While, on the other hand, the realization for joining the purchase of Russian S-400 Missile weapons seen necessary to make a huge influence in relation to Turkish and Russian relations in the future. Therefore, this Thesis will try to answer the question: "What is the reason for Turkey to purchase Russian S-400 weapons?. With balance of Threat theory, this research is trying to explain the existence of threats that arise from Russia which causes Turkey to decide to purchase S-400 weapons. Abstract

The offer of cooperation from China to build nuclear in Argentina is one of the biggest cooperation between the two countries. However, the cooperation was postponed by Argentina in 2018 due to the economic crisis. In the midst of crisis that have not yet improved, Argentina under the government of President Mauricio Macri is planning to re-sign the cooperation which has drawn various responses from the public and other countries. However, through various considerations, the Argentine government finally re-signed the agreement in 2019. In this paper, researchers use a qualitative explanative method with rational actor model and the concept of national interest to explain the policy changes made by the Argentine government. Then, this research finds that the reason Argentina re-signed nuclear cooperation with China is that the benefits refer to the fulfillment of national interests and have been calculated with the opportunity cost. Abstract

This research describes South Korea's efforts to restore the status of a priority trading partner that Japan revoked in 2019. The relationship between the two countries is not good, but South Korea and Japan agreed to normalize through economic cooperation. South Korea and Japan are two advanced technology producing countries that carry out various collaborations to improve the national economy. South Korea is one of the countries given priority trading partner status by Japan to accelerate the economic wheels of the two countries. South Korea uses this status to import fluorinated polyamide, photosensitizing agent resist, and high purity hydrogen fluoride to produce advanced technology such as cellphones and televisions. In 2019, Japan revoked the status of a priority trading partner because of a conflict that threatened the flow of South Korean technology production. Abstract

This research aims to describe the reason behind the Government of Philippine supporting 5G technology from Huawei through qualitative method. Massive pressure from United States as alliance who bans Huawei and spread the message to all states over the world does not influence Philippine from using this technology nationally. Eventhough United States has spesifically warned Philippine to avoid using 5G from Huawei in a state visit, Philippine keep taking different decision and support this technology. Therefore, Reseacher uses three main concepts such as Neoclassical Realism, Cybersecurity, and Digital Economy to answer the reason behind Philippine support towards Huawei’s 5G. This research appraises that Philippine’s support as a response to international structure and domestic factor which put digital economy and cybersecutiy forward through the implementation of Huawei’s 5G.
