Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1)menemukan ubarampe dalam tradisi Jenang Sura, (2)menganalisa makna filosofis dalam ubarampe Jenang Sura. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah Semiotika Roland Barthes. Data yang digunakan berupa foto ubarampe dengan sumber data penelitian berupa kamus bahasa Jawa dan hasil wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi tentang ubarampe Jenang Sura. Teknik analisis yang digunakan teori Spreadly yang terbagi dengan domain-domain tertentu yang bisa menarik sebuah kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan hasil penelitian (1) menyebutkan wujud ubarampe dalam tradisi Jenang Sura, (2) memaparkan makna filosofis yang terkandung dalam ubarampe tradisi Jenang Sura.

Abstract

Textbooks are books that serve as guidelines for the teaching and learning process, one of which is the Class VII Javanese language textbook with the title "Mardika Basa lan Sastra Jawa" published by Erlangga. This research aims to describe the suitability of the content in the Class VII Javanese language textbook "Mardika Basa lan Sastra Jawa". This research is qualitative research with the technique used is content analysis, namely using interactive analysis (data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions). Content feasibility data was analyzed using instruments with relevant theory. The appropriateness of the content is reviewed from the suitability of the material and its accuracy. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that the appropriateness of the content in the textbook "Mardika Basa lan Sastra Jawa" published by Erlangga obtains a percentage value of 74.4% if it is based on the content standards of the independent curriculum for local Javanese language content lessons, this has meaning that this book is suitable for use as a learning handbook in schools.

Abstract

The implementation of politeness principles can still be found in a film, one of which is the short film "Ibu" on the YouTube channel Bakar Production. Adhering to these politeness principles can serve as an example for viewers of the film. Therefore, this study aims to describe and explain the politeness principles (maxim of wisdom, maxim of generosity, maxim of praise, maxim of humility, maxim of agreement, and maxim of sympathy) according to Leech in the short film "Ibu" on the YouTube channel Bakar Production to prevent inappropriate speech in communication. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a pragmatic approach. The data collection technique used in this study is document analysis. The data analysis technique used in this study is flow analysis. The data validation technique used for this research is theory triangulation. The results of this study reveal the presence of 29 instances of adherence to Leech's politeness principles, encompassing all six maxims. By adhering to Leech's politeness principles in the film, it is hoped that society, especially teenagers, can emulate polite language in the film and apply it in their daily communication.

Abstract

This study describes the philosophical value contained in the Uba Rampe of the traditional ceremony of Sebaran Apem Kukus Keong Emas. The purpose of this study is to determine the philosophical value in the Uba Rampe of the traditional ceremony of the Sebaran Apem Kukus Keong Emas. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique employed interactive analysis by Miles and Huberman, which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study applied Javanese philosophy theory by Sri Wintala Achmad. The data in this study consisted of photographs of Uba Rampe, with data sources obtained from informants and events. The sampling technique used was snowball sampling. Data were collected through observation and interviews. Data validity was tested using source triangulation and theory triangulation. The results of this study indicate the existence of philosophical value in the Uba Rampe of the traditional ceremony of Sebaran Apem Kukus Keong Emas. In addition, there is also relevance to the teaching material of narrative essays on cultural events in junior high school.
