Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out: (1) the mathematics learning process in inclusive class includes readiness of teacher before learning process, implementation and evaluation and follow up; (2) the inhibiting factors encountered of slow learners child during mathematics learning process in inclusive class and the solution to them. It was a qualitative research. The subjects were taken by purposive sampling.The subjects of this research were mathematics teacherand special assistant teacher.Data collection techniques in this research were interviews and observation. Techniques to validate that the data triangulation time. The data analysis technique used was consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study were: (1) preparation of Lesson Plan has done after one basic competence finished and any Lesson Plan modified for slow learners child. Before learning proses began, specific media teachers has been prepared for slow learners child. In evaluation and follow-up stage, teachers planned follow-up activities in remedial learning, enrichment programs, counseling services for reguler students or special needs children with the help of a special assistant teacher. (2) Factors or the difficulties which have been slow learners child was difficult about mathematics concepts, beside of that also may lost interest in the task and refused to resume the task when they was bored. The teacher resolve problems by providing mathematical concepts step by step and intens, provide additional learning time, provide motivation and provide reward.Keywords: mathematics learning process, slow learners child, inclusive

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the steps to the application of PBL learning to improve student learning outcomes in the material fractions. This research was a class act. In this study the data source was the teacher and the student. Data collection techniques used in this study consisted of (a) observation, (b) interviews, and (c) test. Methods of data analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive comparative. The steps of learning by PBL method are (1) the stage of cooperation where students formed into groups of 4-5 students, (2) the orientation of students to the problem, namely the provision of problems related to everyday life, (3) organization students to learn independently in a group, (4) guided inquiry groups using worksheets to gather the appropriate information, and (5) develop and present the results of discussions through presentations to the class. The resulting increases in students’ mathematics learning of the results of the pre-action test 71.31 and increased in the first cycle to 75.78, on the second cycle increased by 82.63.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools is usually only one-way, teacher-centered, teachers only explain the material, and using existing media in the school,, students just listen and perform tasks given by the teacher. This resulted in students' understanding of math lessons and their learning achievement decreases. Therefore needed a good media that is interactive multimedia learning based on Cognitive Load Theory (CLT). This study aims to describe the application of interactive multimedia learning based on Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) on students of grade 5 SDN 3 Klegen. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study are students of grade 5 SDN 3 Klegen Madiun City. Based on the results of research, on learning by using interactive learning multimedia based cognitive load theory (CLT) is divided into three activities, namely the initial activities, core activities, and closing activities. The average result of the questionnaire score was 88.27%, so the questionnaire was considered good. And also the average value of class 5 SDN 3 Klegen of 78,5 from total 26 students. Students who get grades under the KKM that is 70 as many as 4 students from 26 students. It shows that 84.61%, so it can be concluded that the most students already understand the material of cube and beam volume.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematical cognitive abilities in integer arithmetic operations through the use of lego bricks for fifth grade students of SDN 02 Winongo Madiun. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles and each cycle is carried out twice. The research subjects were all fifth grade students totaling 17 SDN 02 Winongo Madiun. The research data were collected through observation, written tests in the form of pretest and posttest and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Lego brick media can improve the cognitive ability of mathematics in integer arithmetic operations. This increase was marked by an increase in the number of students with test scores that exceeded the KKM, with scores between 70 and 100.With an increase in percentage of 35.5% of students who scored above the KKM, from 41.17% of students who scored in the KKM to 76, 14%. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mngetahui efektifitas model problem based learning (PBL) terintegrasi STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitaif eksperimen. Desain yang akan digunakan yaitu Quasi Experimental Design dengan jenis penelitian Posttest Only Control Design. Ada dua kelompok yang akan diteliti yaitu kelas kontrol merupakan kelompok kelas yang menggunakan model PBL tidak terintegrasi STEM dan kelas eksperimen merupakan kelompok kelas yang menggunakan model PBL terintegrasi STEM. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Klampisan Ngawi yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian dengan pengujian independen sampel t test menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung = 2,20 dan Ftabel =2,02 dimana Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (2,20 > 2,02) sehingga Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL terintegrasi STEM efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir siswa kelas V di SDN 02 Klampisan.

Abstract

Teachers must model critical thinking skills and dispositions in front of their students. This is useful for helping students develop their critical thinking skills. Inquisitiveness is one part of the critical thinking disposition that teachers need to have. However, there is still very little research investigating the readiness of prospective teachers in critical thinking dispositions, especially inquisitiveness. This research is intended to determine the level of curiosity of prospective elementary school teachers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, case study type, data, and data sources obtained from 20 prospective elementary school teacher informants in Madiun. Four indicators of inquisitiveness were identified from this case study: Asking questions, seeking information, feeling interested, and final investigation/evaluation. The curiosity of most primary school teacher candidates has not met the four indicators. Few fulfill only one indicator, namely seeking information, and very rarely fulfill three indicators. It can be concluded that prospective elementary school teachers do not yet have the disposition to think critically, especially inquisitiveness. There is a need to improve teacher education learning to improve their students' critical thinking skills and dispositions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah web sederhana menggunakan genially sebagai media pembelajaran visual bagi anak sekolah dasar. Artikel ini menjelaskan tahapan perancangan media pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Dalam perancangan media, konsep pembelajaran mencakup materi dirancang dengan memanfaatkan Genially, dan contoh kuis menggunakan game sederhana yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perancangan media sederhana menggunakan Genially dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif dan mudah bagi anak sekolah dasar di pelajaran matematika materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan untuk melibatkan lebih banyak peserta didik dan mengeksplorasi konsep perancangan dan pengembangan Genially yang lebih menarik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Matematika berbasis digital dengan media aplikasi Android (Matematika Segi Empat). Berdasarkan beberapa paparan yang telah dijabarakan, untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Penelitian lapangan tidak diperlukan karena peneliti bekerja langsung dengan teks (data perpustakaan) yang dapat diakses melalui berbagai sumber, antara lain buku, jurnal, majalah, dokumen, dan sumber lainnya. Memanfaatkan tinjauan pustaka karena ilmunya berasal dari kajian ilmiah yang tidak memerlukan observasi lapangan dari peneliti. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini meliputi pencatatan dari publikasi jurnal, konferensi, situs web, dan artikel. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran Matematika berbasis digital dengan media aplikasi Android (Matematika Segi Empat) untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The demand for competence for teachers today is not an easy task or thing. In general, teachers do not understand about writing scientific articles that are worthy of publication. Even though this is one of the supports in developing self-competence that must be owned by teachers. The purpose of this service is to provide training for teachers in writing scientific articles. The partners of this service are teachers from the Madiun district. The methods used in this training activity are lectures, discussions, questions and answers, guidance and consultation. The implementation of this service goes through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. This training activity is a form of fostering the ability of teachers to write scientific articles. It is hoped that after participating in this training activity, activity participants can write scientific articles that are worthy of publication
