Abstract

The Banjar tribe has a tradition of being called "nyonya" which means wandering or migrating to various corners of the archipelago or abroad for business, preaching and studying. In the Nyonya show, the Banjar tribe community is influenced by various factors such as economic factors for survival, the need to study and preach. Migration of the Banjar tribe also occurred to Java. In this region, the Banjar tribe mixes with other tribes such as Arab-Indonesian, Gujarati, Malay, Bugi and local Javanese tribes. The development of the Banjar tribe on the island of Java is usually due to economic reasons (looking for a life in Banua Urang) and seeking knowledge. The method used in this research is qualitative which aims to find out the truth of all symptoms, variables or circumstances without testing certain hypotheses. Banjar traditional marriage has 3 (three) stages, namely before marriage, during marriage and after marriage. All expert informants expect and recommend carrying out the entire series in the Banjar traditional wedding ceremony, because each series contains meaning and cultural values that need to be preserved. This could be one way to preserve Banjar traditional culture, especially for the Banjar tribe people who live in DKI Jakarta. Even though they are overseas, they still have to remember their cultural origins. This is done so that the Banjar tribal people who are overseas can have knowledge about the origins of culture and the series of traditional Banjar marriage ceremonies, and the Banjar tribal people in DKI Jakarta are aware of the importance of maintaining and preserving the culture that has been handed down by their ancestors so that the values This culture is embedded in oneself and can be useful for future life.

Abstract

The development of the Wet Hair Care E-Module (creambath) in this study was developed with the Canva application. The Canva application is an application used to create web link-based designs. The Wet Hair Care E-Module (creambath) refers to the CPMK (Course Learning Outcomes) in the Treatment, Pre-styling, and Hair Styling courses. The purpose of this research is to produce a learning medium for the E-Module of Wet Hair Care (creambath) that is suitable for use. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire as an assessment of validation tests by material and media experts, as well as practicality tests by 5 small group students, and 20 field group students. The results of this study show that the results of the fisrt stage of material expert validation test are 57% and the second stage level 81%, the fisrt stage media expert validation test is 86.7% and the second stage level is 95.5% with the "very valid" category. The results of the practicality test in a small group of 3 students were 90.6% and in a field test by 20 students was 93.6% in the category of "very feasible". Based on the assessment that has been obtained, the E-Module product for learning to take care of hair by wetting (creambath) has been feasible and practical to be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

The development of lifestyle and technology has caused changes in people's lifestyles in general, which is marked by more and more people using the internet to access social media, surf or browse, and contact relatives or friends. Currently, social media is a tool or media that is very effective in supporting the process of communication between people, such as between one person, between influencers, between celebrities and their followers and netizens as a whole. One of the influencers on social media is in the field of beauty or beauty influencers. The most sought-after review in the field of decorative makeup beauty by the public is lip cosmetics. Cosmetics for lips have many types such as, lip sticks, lip creams, lip balms, lip gloss and lip tints. The lightest lip cosmetics that have a natural result are lip tints. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the influence of beauty influencers on Instagram on purchasing decisions on Secondate Beauty brand milky gel lip tint products. This is a beauty influencer review on Instagram of UNJ Cosmetology students affecting the purchase decision of the Secondate Beauty brand milky gel lip tint product.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a hair mask hair care E-Module as a systematic and interactive learning media for students of the Cosmetology Education Study Program. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity test conducted by material and media experts showed significant improvement in the aspects of systematics, function, and product design. This E-Module provides comprehensive information on hair care techniques and can be accessed through mobile devices and computers, thus increasing students' motivation to learn. The total score obtained from the material expert validity test was 75% and the score from the media expert was 95% so that it could be categorized as a “Feasible” product. Thus, this research can be a reference in curriculum development and learning methods in the Cosmetology Education Study Program.

Abstract

Yogya Paes Ageng Jangan Menir Bridal make-up is a type of make-up that requires its own technique in the manufacturing process, so students must be careful and follow the stages in completing it. The aim of this research is to develop a suitable learning media module, equipped with a video of the stages in the form of a QR barcode, which can be practically used by students or learners, as an independent learning media. The stages of the process of using cosmetics are in accordance with the times and the "proportional fit according to the shape of the face" technique. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The data collection technique for this research is a questionnaire as a validation test assessment by material and media experts, as well as a practicality test by 5 small group students and 20 field group students. The results of this research show that the results of the 1st stage material expert validation test were 84% and 91% for the 2nd stage, the 1st stage media expert validation test was 82% and the 2nd stage was 91.1% with the category “very valid”. The results of the practicality test in the small group of 3 students were 91.6% and in the field test by 20 students it was 93.5% in the "very practical" category. The product assessment results of this learning module are feasible and practical for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Makeup is the art of using cosmetic materials to create a role face. Cikatricia makeup is a science that studies in terms of camouflage imperfect facial parts such as defects, scars, pigmentation, and other facial abnormalities or deficiencies using cosmetics and special techniques. This study aims to produce a video learning development product that can later be used as an additional learning resource in the Special Makeup Course in Cikatricia Makeup learning. This study discusses the use of green Color Corrector to cover Post Inflammatory Erythema or reddish acne scars in Cikatricia Makeup. The method used in this study is the Research & Development (R&D) development method of the ADDIE model with a Likert scale. The procedures carried out in making Learning Videos are identifying student needs, determining design plans, preparation, production stages, post-production stages, evaluation, data processing, final results and dissemination of learning products. The results obtained from material experts were 91,57% and media experts were 82,40%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Learning Video is very suitable to be used as a reference and learning resource for Makeup students at Jakarta State University and the general public.

Abstract

This research departs from problem of limited time and learning media on hair styling material with braiding and twisting techniques which caused difficulties in the learning process for class XII KKR students at SMK Negeri 7 Tangerang Selatan. The aim of this research is to produce learning media in the form of E-Module Braids and Twist developed based on Canva.This research uses the Research and Development method with a 4-D development model, namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire as an assessment of the validation of material and media experts and a practicality test from students. In the material expert assessment I at stage I it was 57.77% and at stage II it was 94.44%. The validation test of the feasibility of the material on material experts 2 was 88.88% with the category "Very Feasible". The results of the validity of the media expert stage I were 80% and stage II 83.63% which "Very Feasible". The results of the product practicality test consisting of individual trials obtained a value of 96.66% and a limited trial of 95.4% wich "Very Practical". Thus, the E-Module Braids and Twist is very feasible and very practical to use as a learning medium.

Abstract

The result of the research carried out is a video tutorial that will be used as a learning medium in the Makeup Course. The video tutorials used have the aim of helping students to be able to properly understand the material being taught because these video tutorials can be watched and studied repeatedly without being hindered by limited time or space. The method used in the research carried out is the Research and Development method using the ADDIE model, ncludes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research and development has passed validation test by material and media experts, and practicality test by students. In the results of the validation test carried out by material experts, a score of 82% was obtained, which was in the "very worthy" category. Meanwhile, the validation test carried out by media experts obtained a score of 71.6% and was included in the "worthy" category. Then, a practicality test was carried out on 40 students of Jakarta State University, Cosmetology Education Study Program class of 2022, obtaining a score of 95.3% which was in the "very practical" category. Based on the results of a series of tests that have been carried out, the video tutorial "How to Use Face Tape for Geriatric Makeup" was declared suitable and practical to be used as a learning medium in the Makeup Course.

Abstract

To support individual confidence can be seen through physical appearance, one of the factors that can support the confidence of women or female students is the use of makeup. This study aims to find out the extent of the correlation between daily makeup use and self-confidence in students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method of correlation by conducting a survey, namely making a questionnaire consisting of 35 statements. The sample of this study was 82 students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Jakarta class of 2021 and was selected using a simple random sampling technique. The indicators on the variables of makeup use are duration and frequency, while the confidence variables are self-confidence and ability, responsibility, rationality and rationality. The correlation results obtained in this study of 0.299 which are in the range of 0.200-0.399 show that the correlation level is low and positive.
