Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze factors which affected interest in developing beef cattle. The sampling method was used Simple Random Sampling method, based on this research of the 176 population of beef cattle breeders available, 37 farmers were taken as samples. The analyze method used is multiple linear regression with dependent variable is interesting in developing beef cattle and independent variable were beef cattle seed price, education, experience and age of breeder cattle. The results show that experience effected the interest in developing beef cattle meanwhile beef cattle seed price, education and age of breeder cattle were not affected in developing beef cattle in Nagori Tempel Jaya.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu kota metropolitan, jumlah pengguna perangkat telekomunikasi kota Bandung dipastikan besar. Seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk, maka trafik data yang dibangkitkan juga bertambah. Sehingga, diperlukan jaringan yang mampu melayaninya. Metro ethernet merupakan salah satu jaringan yang cukup memadai untuk melayani trafik data telekomunikasi saat ini. Penelitian ini merancang pemodelan dan analisis jaringan metro ethernet. Pemodelan jaringan metro ethernet menggunakan perangkat lunak OPNET Modeler. Analisis performansi jaringan dilakukan dengan cara mengukur metriks QoS (Quality of Service) berdasarkan standar PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk dan ITU-T. Metriks performansi jaringan yang digunakan antara lain round trip delay (RTD), jitter, packet loss, dan utilisasi link. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata RTD jaringan sebesar 0,3542 ms, rata-rata nilai jitter jaringan sebesar 0,2159 ms, dan rata-rata packet loss jaringan sebesar 0,000585%. Nilai utilisasi link tertinggi terdapat pada link LBG ↔ RJW sebesar 52,9631%. Sedangkan, nilai utilisasi link terendah terdapat pada link UBR ↔ CJA sebesar 29,7614%. Skema dynamic routing menggunakan protokol OSPF diterapkan pada jaringan. Rata-rata waktu konvergensi jaringan dari variasi tiga skenario sebesar 15 s.

Abstract

Science literacy is the ability to understand, communicate, and apply scientific knowledge to find solutions and to have sensitivity to self and the environment in making decisions based on scientific considerations. This study aims to acquire a profile of the science literacy skills of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang students. The study involved 606 students consisting of 290 students in the X class and 316 students in the XI class. Data was collected using the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) science literacy instrument on Renewable Energy that refers to indicators developed by Gormally. ESD aims to empower individuals to act responsibly for the environment, economy, and society. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive statistics, i.e. average scores for each indicator, then the data is presented with a description. This study shows that the science literacy skills of students of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang need to be improved. The highest score is on making graphs accurately from data, while the lowest score is on making inferences, predictions, and conclusions based on quantitative data. Students' science literacy skills need to be improved through evaluation and practice of subjects involving science literature, learning with interactive media, and learning models that activate students.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of interactive science literacy media (Melisa) based on Construct 2 in class V science subjects at SDN Singopadu. This type of research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. This research aims to develop and measure the effectiveness of interactive scientific literacy media (Melisa) based on Construct 2. The media developed was validated by 2 validators. The results of the Melisa feasibility test research were based on the assessment: 1) The material expert validator obtained a percentage of 87.5% in the "Very Feasible" category. 2) Media expert validators got a percentage of 91.6% in the "Very Eligible" category. Thus, Melisa is declared suitable to be applied to students. The sample for this research was class V at SDN Singopadu, totaling 20 students. Data from student observations obtained a percentage of 80% and teacher observation results of 97% were in the "Very good" category. Data on learning outcomes before implementing the media was 60% and after implementing the media was 86.5%. The results show that student learning outcomes have increased and are in the "Very high" category. In addition, the competency aspect of scientific literacy in the indicator of identifying scientific issues was 93%, reaching the "Very High" classification, the indicator for explaining phenomena was 85%, reaching the "Very High" classification, and the indicator using scientific evidence was 80%, reaching the "Very High" classification. . This shows that scientific literacy media (Melisa) can train students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Nutmeg essential oil (Myristica fragrans Houtt) is a natural ingredient that has potential as a sunscreen. This research aims to formulate and characterize nutmeg essential oil nanoemulsion and test the sunscreen activity of nutmeg essential oil and its nanoemulsion. The essential oil and nanoemulsion formulas were made with 5 variations of essential oil concentrations namely F0 (0%), F1 (1%), F2 (2%), F3 (4%) and F4 (6%). The nanoemulsion characterization includes organoleptic test, pH measurement, nanoemulsion type examination, viscosity measurement, percent transmittance test, particle size distribution measurement, centrifugation test, freez-thaw cycle test. Testing the potential of sunscreen was carried out using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength range of 290-400 nm with ethanol as a blank. The results of the nanoemulsion organoleptic characterization showed a clear and stable appearance. Measurements of pH, type of nanoemulsion, viscosity, percent transmittance, and particle size of nanoemulsion preparations showed good results and were in accordance with the parameters. The nutmeg essential oil nanoemulsion had better SPF, %Te and %Tp values than the essential oil. Nanoemulsion preparations that had the best sunscreen activity in this study were F4 (6%) with an SPF value of 1.538; %Te value of 37.375%; and %Tp value of 80.732%.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat perdesaan adalah banyaknya lahan kosong yang tidak dimanfaatkan secara optimal, yang dapat dialihfungsikan menjadi area hijau untuk tanaman obat keluarga guna mendukung kesehatan berkelanjutan. Sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, lahan kosong tersebut dapat diubah menjadi area hijau Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA). Tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk memanfaatkan lahan kosong yang ada menjadi area hijau obat-obatan keluarga. Selain itu kegiatan ini bermanfaat bagi masyarakat untuk menerapkan gaya hidup sehat yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah praktik langsung. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah lahan kosong menjadi area hijau TOGA (tanaman obat keluarga) dengan berbagai macam jenis tanaman obat. One of the problems faced by rural communities is the large amount of empty land that is not utilized optimally, which can be converted into green areas for family medicinal plants to support sustainable health. As a solution to this problem, the empty land can be converted into a green area for Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). This program aims to utilize existing empty land into a green area for family medicine. Apart from that, this activity is beneficial for the community to adopt a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. The method used in this program is direct practice. The result of this service is that the empty land becomes a green area for TOGA (family medicinal plants) with various types of medicinal plants.

Abstract

Cultural learning in elementary schools (SD) has an important role in building national identity and instilling local wisdom values from an early age. However, students' low interest in cultural learning is a challenge for educators. The development of digital technology, especially Augmented Reality (AR), offers innovative solutions in enhancing a more interactive and engaging learning experience. This research aims to explore the role of local Indonesian indigenous culture-based AR media, particularly related to Javanese cultural elements, in improving the cultural understanding of elementary school students. A qualitative method was employed, involving semi-structured interviews with three elementary school teachers from Taman, Buduran, and Candi Districts in Sidoarjo Regency. The findings indicate that teachers are aware of the importance of cultural learning but face challenges in making the content appealing to students. AR is perceived as a promising tool to increase engagement by visualizing cultural objects such as traditional houses, clothing, and folklore through interactive media. However, barriers such as limited digital infrastructure, insufficient teacher training, and lack of localized AR content remain significant obstacles. In conclusion, while AR technology has strong potential to enhance cultural learning in Indonesian elementary schools, its success depends on cross-sectoral collaboration in content development, ongoing teacher professional development, and improved access to supporting technologies.

Abstract

Rasa putus asa, benci atas kehidupan yang dijalani, ketidak percayaan terhadap diri sendiri, dan pesimis sering terjadi pada seseorang yang hidup bersmasyarakat. Kejadian seperti ini biasa terjadi di kehidupan nyata apalagi ketika penyebaran kasus Covid-19 masih terjadi. Mereka yang selalu merasa putus asa akan tenggelam di dalamnya khususnya manusia pada fase dewasa muda. Begitu juga isi dalam kumpulan buku puisi yang berjudul Akheiron di dalam buku terdapat puisi-puisi yang bermakna putus asa contohnya adalah sub puisi berjudul Jika kau izin kan, Remuk dan Rigen. Untuk menganalisis puisi tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah teori, teori yang digunakan adalah teori strukturalisme genetik dari Goldmann, yang membahas permasalahan permasalahan dari fakta fakta kemanusiaan yang dirangkum lagi dalam fakta individual dan fakta sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, untuk menganalisis puisi perlu adanya pengumpulan data yang berasal dari pengamatan pada buku puisi Akheiron. Hasil yang didapat dari analisis tersebut adalah Puisi-puisi yang telah dianalisis, yakni "Jika Kau Izinkan," "Remuk," dan "Rigen," mengeksplorasi tema krisis emosional dan kesehatan mental pada masa-masa tertentu, khususnya di usia 20-25 tahun. Analisis mencakup fakta kemanusiaan dan fakta sosial pada setiap puisi.
