Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) Tourism promotion in increasing tourist visits in Baubau City; (2) The cultural program of the local community in Baubau City in increasing tourist visits; and (3) The impact of tourist visits in Baubau City. The informants in this study were five people.  The analysis tool used is the Analysis Interactive Model from Miles and Huberman, which divides the steps in data analysis activities into several parts, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) Tourism promotion using advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, and personal selling can increase tourist visits in Baubau City; (2) The culture of the local community as assessed from technological tools, economic system, family system, and political power system can increase tourist visits in Baubau City; and (3) Tourist visits assessed from the increase in foreign and domestic visitor arrivals, increase in foreign exchange income from the tourism sector, expansion of employment, increase in the contribution of the tourism sector to GDP/GDP and increase tourism competitiveness in Baubau City have a good impact on the people of Baubau City.

Abstract

This study was aimed at determining: The effect of situational leadership style on the working motivation, The effect of situational leadership style on career development, The effect of working motivation on career development, The effect of motivation mediated to strengthen the influence of situational leadership style on the career. The object of this study was employee career development in the Field of Trial Parliament Secretariat Southeast Sulawesi Province. The population was all employees who were civil servants, as many as 59 people taken by using census. Data analysis used was descriptive statistics and Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study concluded that: Situational leadership style significantly affected on employee motivation; The situational leadership style significantly affected on employee career development, Motivation significantly affected on employee career development, Motivation mediated the influence of situational leadership style to career development

Abstract

The research objectives are to identify and analyze; (1) The influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee productivity of PT. PLN Persero ULP Bombana; (2) The influence of leadership style on employee productivity; (3) The effect of work motivation on employee productivity. Population is employees of PT. PLN Persero ULP Bombana, totaling 58 people, not including the leadership, in this case is the Manager of PT. PLN Persero ULP Bombana and at the same time used as respondents in this study. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression.The results of the study stated that; (1) Leadership style and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity; (2) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity; (3) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of education and work experience on the work performance of the Regional I National Road Implementation Unit at the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study were all employees of the Regional I National Road Implementation Unit at the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing of Southeast Sulawesi Province as many as 98 employees using the census method. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative data, the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation and questionnaires. The analytical technique used is through multiple linear regression analysis using Microsoft Excel, and SPSS software. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that (1) Education and work experience simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee work performance; (2) Education has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; and (3) work experience has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
