Abstract

Utilizing solar energy as an alternative energy source for Indonesia's electricity needs is very appropriate because it is located in a tropical area with hot sunlight available all year round. Considering that in rural areas in Indonesia there are still many public road accesses that are not equipped with street lighting and the problem stems from the use of conventional electrical energy as a source of street lighting. The use of photovoltaics (PV) as a tool to produce electrical energy with the advantages of being environmentally friendly, low maintenance costs and zero emissions and the energy needed is available in nature and is always renewable (renewable energy). The 1 DOF (Degree OF Freedom) solar tracker mechanic is used to find the point where the sunlight is optimal, which aims to produce maximum solar panel output during energy conversion. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that solar-powered public street lighting (PJU-TS) using a mechanical solar tracker delay of 2 seconds produces a daily energy conversion of 235.20 Wh, which is more optimal than solar-powered public street lighting (PJU-TS) with solar tracker delay. 2.5 seconds amounting to 218.75 Wh and solar powered public street lighting (PJU-TS) without a solar tracker amounting to 171.34 Wh.

Abstract

One of the advantages of solar cells is their ability to generate electricity without creating noise or air pollution. However, they have the disadvantage of increasing temperature due to continuous exposure to solar radiation, thereby decreasing solar cell efficiency. A solution to mitigate this effect is a cooling system for solar cells. Cooling methods for solar cells consist of active and passive methods. Active cooling methods for solar cells require power consumption, necessitating analysis and evaluation of their efficiency in practical applications. This research analyzed the power efficiency of a cooling system using a water pump, peltier, and fan. The power measurements generated by the cooled solar cell produced a power efficiency of 8.64%, compared to a solar cell without cooling. Meanwhile, the average power efficiency over six data collections was 7.82%.

Abstract

In the electric power system it does not always run normally. There are many disturbances or disturbance anomalies that can disrupt the operation of the system. One of them is at the Sekarputih main substation. last two years, the channel has experienced five short- circuit disruptions. As a result, electromagnetic distance relays must be replaced with digital distance relays equipped with reclosers. The reclosers will function when there is a relay disturbance on a trip and automatically reconnect. The disruptions may occur due to damage brought by unstable weather conditions. Indirectly, the value of relay settings will change and deviate from the PLN (state electricity company) standards. Therefore, relay re-setting was performed using two methods: the Fuzzy Mamdhani and the ANFIS methods. Using the Fuzzy Mamdhani method, the relay distance settings were as follows: Zone 1 = 0.523 Ω, Zone 2 = 0.54 Ω, and Zone 3 = 1.58 Ω. Meanwhile, the relay distance settings by the ANFIS method were: Zone 1 = 0.432 Ω, Zone 2 = 0.65 Ω, and Zone 3 = 1.22 Ω. The previous values of relay distance settings by PLN were Zone 1 = 0.587 Ω, Zone 2 = 1.046 Ω, and Zone 3 = 1.766 Ω.

Abstract

Based on data from the PT PLN Bojonegoro main substation, there were 3 disruptions a month, which caused several distribution feeders to trip. One of the causes of a trip in this protection system is due to an error in the coordination settings between the Over Current Relay (OCR) and the recloser. The aim of this research is to review the value of the OCR and recloser settings on the 20 kV distribution channel at the Bojonegoro Main Substation to maximize how the protection equipment works in the event of a disturbance. The calculation results for the recloser are 0.07 seconds, the incoming OCR is 0.27 seconds, and the outgoing OCR is 0.11 seconds. Meanwhile, the existing TMS OCR and recloser values are 0.1 seconds, the incoming OCR is 0.25 and the outgoing OCR is 0.2 seconds. . Comparison of the TMS OCR incoming, OCR Outgoing, and recloser value settings has a difference of 0.03 seconds, 0.0.02 seconds, and 0.09 seconds.

Abstract

The increasing need for electric power demands a higher level of reliability in the power supply and distribution. This research aims to calculate the reliability level of the 20kV distribution system at PLN Ltd., UP3 Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, especially at the wind feeder in 2021, by implementing FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis). Before using the FMEA method, SAIFI 1.15 times per year and SAIDI 3.9 hours per year. After using this method, the wind feeder reliability index value got SAIFI 1.09 times/year; SAIDI 3.5 hours/year; CAIFI 0.33 times/outage; CAIDI 3 hours/year; ASAI 99.95%. The undistributed energy due to wind feeder outages in 2021 reached 55694.46 kWh. With an economic loss value of IDR 88,507,867.71, the highest RPN (Risk Priority Number) value occurred at the damaged cut-out of 162.

Abstract

in the data at the Sekar Putih substation on a single side 70 kV transformer the short circuit disturbance is 14,505 kA for three phases and 0.647 kA for one phase to ground, while on the 150 kV side the three phase short circuit disturbance is 21,501 kA and 18,157 kA for one phase to ground . With this research, the aim of minimizing short circuit disturbances is that a relay is needed, namely the overcurrent relay (OCR), which is tasked with indicating the presence of short circuit currents occurring in the system. By increasing the OCR setting value using the PSO method, the TMS results and trip time (t) are very optimal. The results of this research show that the OCR setting on the OCR time setting (TMS) on a 150 kV single-sided transformer using the PSO method is 0.1124 seconds with a trip time (t) of 0.8191 seconds for a short circuit fault of 18,730 A, while using the manual calculation method TMS is 0.4 seconds with a trip time (t) of 1.237 seconds with a short circuit disturbance of 21.501 kA. Therefore, it can be concluded that by using the PSO method the TMS results and trip time (t) are faster and more efficient than using the conventional method.

Abstract

In the five distribution transformers operating in 2020–2022, the load has increased in each period. At the RA 1208 substation, the load during the day is 9.7% and 8.33% at night. The RA 1218 substation has a load during the day of 6.47% and 4.15% at night. RB substation has loads of 5.93% during the day and 6.55% at night. The RA 1220 substation gets loads of 4.78% during the day and 4.13% at night. RA 977 substation obtains loads of 7.27% during the day and 6.02% at night. Load improvement, causing heat and loss of life, is influenced by ambient temperature, where the average daily temperature in Surabaya reaches 29°C to 30°C. In order to make the transformer at PLN Ltd. UP3 in West Surabaya work properly, it is necessary to predict the transformer’s life. This study employed linear and exponential trends, with the MAPE evaluation test and impact analysis of the loading on the transformer's remaining life referring to IEC standards. At substation 1208 and using an exponential trend of 1.2597%, the remaining life forecast for 2032 is 7.92 years. Substation 1218, using an exponential trend of 1.2361%, has a remaining life forecast of 10.81 years. With an exponential trend of 1.1048%, substation RB 1503 gains a remaining life forecast of 10.52 years. Substation 1220, using an exponential trend of 1.2057%, gets a remaining life forecast of 10.95 years. Substation RA 977, using the exponential trend of 1.6338%, has a remaining life forecast of 6.46 years.

Abstract

South Boulevard traction substation with the output of the rectifier of 750VDC and 4000A against LRV loading under normal and abnormal conditions. This research was conducted with data sources in the form of specifications for traction substation equipment, 3rd rail specifications, and LRV specifications. The power generated by the South Boulevard traction substation under normal and upnormal conditions will be compared with the LRV load when the headway is narrowed, the train set is added, and the voltage drop is measured. The traction substation is said to be able to bear the load when the power used by the load does not exceed the power provided by the traction substation so that the LRV operation can run. The results of the analysis stated that under normal conditions the capacity of the South Boulevard to Pulomas traction substation obtained the smallest value of 2 minutes headway for 2 train sets at 1806,1KW power with a drop voltage of 30V and the capacity of the South Boulevard to North Boulevard traction substation obtained the smallest value of 2 minutes headway for 2 train sets at 1697,9KW power with a drop voltage of 27,4V. Upnormal condition of the capacity of the South Boulevard to Pegangsaan Dua traction substation, the smallest headway value was 5 minutes for 2 train sets at 1643,2KW power with a drop voltage of 45V and the capacity of the South Boulevard to Equestrian traction substation was obtained the smallest value of 4 minutes headway for 2 train sets at 1651,5KW power a drop voltage of 36,4V.

Abstract

Guru memiliki peranan penting dalam peningkatan minat belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu guru tidak hanya dituntut untuk pintar dalam hal ilmu, tapi juga dituntut untuk memiliki kepribadian yang baik. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah kepribadian guru agama berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Alhidayat Gerning Tegineneng Pesawaran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Madrasah Aliyah Alhidayat Gerning Tegineneng Pesawaran yang seluruhnya berjumlah 100 siswa, kemudian diambil 30 siswa sebagai sampel. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kepribadian guru agama sebagai variabel bebas dan minat belajar siswa sebagai variabel terikat. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, interview dan angket. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh dari kepribadian guru agama terhadap minat belajar siswa. Setelah data dianalisis dengan menggunakan sistem korelasi product moment dan diperoleh rxy sebesar 0,673, kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel r product moment dengan N = 30, maka diperoleh r pada taraf signifikansi 1% sebesar 0,361, maka dapat berarti bahwa nilai rxy lebih besar dari nilai rtabel (0,361<0,673). Jadi hipotesis yang menyatakan, “ada pengaruh dari kepribadian guru agama terhadap minat belajar siswa”  di Madrasah Aliyah Alhidayat Gerning Tegineneng Pesawaran, bisa diterima.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi industri 4.0 mendorong kebutuhan pemantauan parameter listrik secara real-time untuk efisiensi energi. Dalam penelitian ini membahas perancangan sistem monitoring arus listrik berbasis mini SCADA menggunakan PLC Haiwell dan sensor PZEM-004T. Sistem ini dirancang untuk membaca dan menampilkan data arus listrik secara real-time menggunakan protokol komunikasi Modbus RTU. Untuk memastikan integrasi dan komunikasi berjalan lancar, perangkat lunak Modbus Poll digunakan sebagai alat bantu pengujian dan pemantauan data. Sensor PZEM-004T untuk mengukur parameter listrik seperti arus, tegangan, daya, dan energi, sementara PLC Haiwell berperan sebagai pengontrol yang mengolah dan meneruskan data ke sistem SCADA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memantau arus listrik secara real-time pada beban handbor dan gerinda dengan akurasi 98%.
