Abstract

Indonesia possesses significant geothermal potential, with the largest share located in West Java, accounting for up to 21.7% distributed across 44 locations in 11 regencies. One such location with geothermal potential is in Block Ciasmara Sector II, the Mount Salak area, Bogor Regency, characterized by manifestations such as hot spring bathing pools. This research aims to understand the distribution of geothermal reservoirs in the study area, where these reservoirs contain hot fluids that can be harnessed for renewable energy generation. The methodology used in this research involves a correlation between the Active Directory Magnetotelluric (ADMT) and Self-Potential (SP) methods. A total of 3 ADMT measurements were conducted along tracks ranges from 5-8 meters, while the SP method involved 7 measurement points with coordinates distributed around the geothermal manifestations in the Mount Salak area. The data obtained were then visualized in 2D and 3D to gain insights into the distribution and orientation of the reservoir layers in the study area. The results indicate a correlation between the ADMT and Self-Potential methods. In Line 01 of the ADMT, located in the western part, there is a correlation with high potential difference values on the SP map ranges from 47.6-82.1 mV, suggesting the presence of tuff layers rich in alteration minerals. This is confirmed by the 2D ADMT modeling, which shows that the clay cap is thicker compared to Line 02 and Line 03, associated with the presence of alteration minerals in the clay cap. This correlation also applies to Line 03, which has low potential difference values ranges from 4.9-25.3 mV, indicating a response from lapilli rocks. This is corroborated by the 2D model, which reveals thickening of the lapilli rock layer on Line 03.Keywords: ADMT, Geothermal, Mount Salak, Reservoir, Self-Potential.

Abstract

The present library research highlights the “English-only” approach used in the Aboriginal classrooms in Northern Territory (NT) schools, Australia. This library study collects its data from five decades (1968-2018) of research and theorisation on the implementation of English instruction at Indigenous classrooms in Australia by referring to the changes of approaches from bilingual instruction policy to the current “English-only” approach. The writer then reports the problems occurred in the implementation of this approach in the specific classroom interaction. Factors like socio-cultural gap and dysfunctional discourse were found to be influencing the ineffective English-only classroom in the NT schools. What alternatives may have been tried in the Northern territory schools and to what degree of success?

Abstract

The Arabic language holds an exceptional position in history, culture, and religion. Studying Arabic is not limited to understanding classical and contemporary literary works from the Arab world, but also provides access to knowledge and thought in various fields of science such as history and the sciences. Arabic also plays a crucial role in religion, as the Quran, the holy book of Islam, is written in Arabic.  Educational curriculum is a structured plan or program that includes a series of subjects and educational activities designed to achieve specific educational goals. It encompasses various aspects of the learning process, including learning objectives, teaching strategies, performance assessment, and evaluation. The primary goal of educational curriculum is to provide guidance and direction for the learning process so that students can achieve their full potential. Subject matter curriculum is an approach in curriculum design that emphasizes teaching subjects separately. In this model, each subject is taught as an independent and separate unit, without attempting to link the subjects together. Subject matter curriculum places greater emphasis on understanding concepts and facts in each discipline deeply.

Abstract

Islamic Business Ethics is an important thing in the course of a professional business activity, and shows that there is a stand-alone structure that is separate from other structures because business ethics in Islam explains more about policies and truths both at the level of intentions and ideas towards behavior, starting from law Islam to trade relations. Trade in Islam has now begun to show its fangs. This is due to the collapse of the capitalist economy due to the global crisis. And in everyday life a person will never be separated from economic activities, especially Islamic economics. In practice, Islam recommends that it be based on Islamic law, namely the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah.

Abstract

This study introduces a physics-guided multi-attribute inversion (PG-MAI) approach to estimate acoustic impedance and porosity from post-stack seismic data using Bayesian Ridge Regression. The method integrates ten seismic attributes—including amplitude, frequency, and geometric features—into a regularized linear regression framework with Bayesian formulation. Applied to the F3 Block in the Dutch North Sea, the workflow includes temporal upsampling, attribute extraction, and model calibration using two well logs. The inversion results demonstrate high spatial coherence and alignment with geological structures. Validation at both wells shows strong agreement between predicted and measured log values, with correlation coefficients exceeding 0.90 for both acoustic impedance and porosity. Zones of low impedance and high porosity correspond to interpreted deltaic sands and lobate geometries, reflecting the facies heterogeneity of the F3 depositional environment. These outcomes suggest that the inversion framework effectively captures lithological variability, making it valuable for reservoir delineation in similarly complex siliciclastic systems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth analysis of the types, functions, and manner of speech acts utilised in al-Ghazali's notion on educational concept. The study employed a content analysis methodology, which entailed gathering data from a variety of sources, including Al-Ghazali's writings and scholarly articles related to his works. The findings of this study reveal that al-Ghazali's idea of education in is dominated by directive speech acts, followed by assertive acts and constative acts. The category of recommending acts makes up the vast majority of directive acts, whereas order acts are somewhat less common. Further, Al-Ghazali’s use of speech acts tends to emphasize a competitive function, followed by a collaborative one. Interestingly, neither convivial nor conflicting functions are presented in this study. The dominance of directive speech acts, highlight Al-Ghazali's preference for providing guidance and advice to his readers in a harmonious and respectful communication style. Furthermore, Al-Ghazali's use of speech acts can be classified primarily as literal and direct speech acts, with subsequent employment of indirect and non-literal forms.. These findings contribute to the teaching learning process including English language in applying speech act. Finally, this study highlights the significance of considering the types, functions, and manner of performing speech acts propose to  teachers and students in English language teaching learning process.

Abstract

The teaching of English For Young Learners (TEYL) in Indonesia has become increasingly prominent in response to globalization and the growing need for English proficiency in academic and professional spheres. Despite this rising demand, the implementation of English education at the early childhood and primary school level encounters significant challenges. These include inconsistent educational policies, a lack of adequately trained teachers, and insufficient teaching and learning resources. This study investigates the current landscape of English language education for young learners in Indonesia by examining national education policies and classroom practices. The research identifies key issues such as the incongruent of a standardized curriculum, minimal pre-service and in-service teacher training specific to TEYL, and disparities in access to quality English instructions and materials between urban and rural schools. Therefore, this current study proposes a strategic roadmap aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of TEYL in Indonesia. These include policy reforms, targeted teacher development programs, curriculum enhancements, and improved resource allocation. The findings are intended to inform policymakers, educational institutions, and practitioners in developing a sustainable roadmap for TEYL in Indonesia.
