Abstract

Contract Change Order (CCO) is a change to the initial contract value that commonly occurs in construction work. This study is intended to determine the causal factors and analyze the impact of the Contract Change Order (CCO) on the Makassar-Pare Pare Railway Station construction project. The method in this research is to use the SPSS method and the Relative Rank Index (RRI) method to determine the causal factors and the mean value method to analyze the impact of the Contract Change Order (CCO) on the construction of the Makassar-Pare Pare Railway Station. The results showed that there were 5 dominant factors that caused the Contract Change Order (CCO) to occur, namely the difficulty of land acquisition by the community, the demand factor from the project owner (owner) to change the initial design, place characteristics factors, physical condition factors in the field that are different from the initial conditions. time for field inspections, and force majeure factors such as the Covid-19 Pandemic and the impact it causes is an extension of the implementation time, an extension of time for the duration of work, and an increase in Overhead costs.

Abstract

CPM (Critical Path Method) is one of the most advanced network planning methods that leads to project timing decisions, and time estimation is deterministic/clear. The purpose of research using this method is to determine the time and cost of scraping and to find out which activity is one of the key activities. It also aims to control and coordinate various activities to get projects completed in the right time frame, helping companies plan and control projects in a more time- and cost-effective manner. The research was conducted by processing data obtained from observations in the field, interviews with project employees and also secondary data in the form of project time schedules. With the use of this CPM method, it produces three critical paths with 27 series of activities, 19 of which are critical and the remaining 8 are non-critical. The calculation results using the CPM method took 626 days with 207 days of non-critical activities. Based on the CPM method, it is necessary to reduce the workforce in non-critical activities by 8 workers and 15 workers. The labor reduction reduces slack and minimizes the labor costs of the project.

Abstract

Along with the development of the community's need for housing, it has an effect on the rapid development of construction projects in Indonesia, especially in this study, we will discuss apartment housing facilities. The purpose of this research is to understand the obstacles that occur in the basement work of the 31 Sudirman Suites Makassar development project and to analyze alternative scheduling of the basement work of the 31 Sudirman Suites Makassar project using the PERT method. Based on data analysis, it was found that the obstacles that occurred in the basement work of the 31 Sudirman Suites Makassar development project were work delays, changes in job specifications and waiting for confirmation of job specifications from the owner. alternative schedule using the PERT method, obtained a work completion time of 109 weeks while the initial planning time was 115 weeks. Thus scheduling using the PERT method is faster than the initial scheduling plan.

Abstract

In a development project, the risk of work accidents is very high. The cause is the lack of knowledge of employees or workers about occupational safety and health protection. Thus, an analysis was carried out on the level of knowledge of workers on Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in the Makassar Eye Hospital Construction Project. The research will be conducted by means of direct interviews and field surveys. The interviews targeted 20 handymen and 4 foremen who were working on the Makassar Eye Hospital construction project. The questionnaire contains general information about the employee and the employee's knowledge of K3. Based on the results of the research obtained, Makassar eye hospital project workers still do not understand employee safety due to several factors, among others, low worker training, lack of work experience and the number of workers who have never participated in on the job training.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The Just In Time (JIT) method is a method to save inventory and material storage costs in storage warehouses by supplying the required materials from suppliers on time. Therefore, the application of construction material management using the JIT method in a project is very important to help reduce material storage and procurement costs. By reducing the amount of materials stored at the project site, the company can save on storage costs and reduce the possibility of damage or loss of materials. This study of the JIT method was carried out on the construction of the regional office building of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of South Sulawesi, to find out how the application of JIT can optimize construction material management. In The method used in this research is a comparison technique, namely by comparing material inventory management practices at the project site. comparing material inventory management practices at the project site with using JIT principles using primary data, namely observation and interviews while secondary data is logistical data. The results show that the JIT inventory management method is not applied in material inventory in the construction project of the regional office building of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of South Sulawesi. In this study, material ordering that applies the JIT approach is known to optimize material management in the implementation of construction projects, so that there are no delays that can hinder work.

Abstract

Scheduling in project implementation is very important to determine the work properly and correctly, therefore the construction of a project cannot be separated from scheduling in increasing project success. In houtilizing construction projects there is work that is done repeatedly or work with repetitive properties. The goal of this study is to compute the timing of the work of each unit of work. To get the outcomes of the timing of work in this study utilizing the Line of Balance (LoB) technique. This study is performed by field observation and calculating the timing of work from the volume value of each work unit. Based on the outcomes of the analysis performed for scheduling the project type 70/90 as many as 22 units, namely 1165 days or 3.2 years. This technique is effective because it displays production levels and time information in a graphical format so that it can figure out errors that happen.
