Abstract

Mi merupakan produk makanan yang paling banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia, tingginya konsumsi mi tidak diimbangi dengan kandungan nilai dan kualitas gizi yang seimbang dan tercukupi, sehingga perlu adanya pengkayaan atau peningkatan kualitas gizi pada produk mi. Ikan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus) merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang cukup populer di masyarakat dan memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Ikan lele dapat digunakan sebagai sumber protein dalam pembuatan mi kering untuk meningkatkan nilai gizi produk. Tepung daging ikan lele mempunyai kandungan protein yang cukup tinggi dan kandungan asam amino lisin tinggi sedangkan asam amino pembatas dari tepung terigu adalah lisin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi tepung daging ikan lele dumbo terhadap karakteristik produk mi kering. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5x perlakuan penambahan berbagai macam konsentrasi dan dilakukan 3x pengulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penambahan konsentrasi berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap lisin, tensile strength, kadar protein, kadar abu, kadar lemak dan nilai hedonik. Interaksi antar perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap asam amino lisin, tensil strength, kadar protein, abu, lemak, kenampakan dan warna. Sedangkan dengan air dan karbohidrat tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Perlakuan konsentrasi terbaik yaitu 20% dilihat dari kandungan asam amino lisin (34,19 mg/g), kadar protein (17,52 %), kadar lemak (2,30%). Perlakuan konsentrasi 5% paling baik diterapkan dan paling disukai oleh panelis dengan asam amino lisin (17,85 mg/g), tensile strength (0,103 N/mm2), kadar protein (10,95%), air (10,42%), abu (1,6%), lemak (1,78%) dan karbohidrat (76,15%).  Noodles is a product of the most widely consumed by the people of Indonesia, the high consumption of noodles are not offset by the value of the content and quality of nutrition are balanced and would be sure, so the need for enriched or nutrient in the product quality improvement noodles.African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) is the one commodity that is quite popular in the community and has a high economic value. Catfish can be used as a source of protein in the manufacture of dry noodles to improve the nutritional value of the product. Flour meat catfish has a fairly high protein content and a high content of the amino acid lysine as the limiting amino acid of wheat flour is lysine. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of concentration of African catfish fish meat meal on the characteristics of dry noodles. This study uses experimental design completely randomized design (CRD) with 5x treatment of a wide range of concentrations and the addition is done 3x repetition. The results showed that the addition of factor concentrations significantly (P<0.05) to lysine, tensile strength, protein content, ash content, fat content and hedonic value. The interaction between treatment significantly (P<0.05) against the lysine amino acid levels, tensile strength, protein content, ash, fat, appearance and color. While with water and carbohydrates are not significant (P˃0,05). The best treatment concentration of 20% in terms of the amino acid lysine content (34.19 mg / g), protein content (17.52%), fat content (2.30%). Treatment concentration of 5% is best used and most preferred by the panelists with the amino acid lysine (17.85 mg / g), tensile strength (0,103 N / mm 2), protein content (10.95%), water (10.42, ash (1.6%), fat (1.78%) and carbohydrate (76.15%).

Abstract

Handling post-harvest corn yield is the determinant of the quality of raw materials in feed manufacturing. The high quality standard of the acceptance of raw materials in the livestock industry makes it difficult for post-harvest corn yield produced by farmers to compete. The objective of this research is to evaluate the quality of corn yield physically, chemically and biologically by comparing the quality of post-harvest corn yield produced by farmers in Grobogan District with the corn yield of feed industry. Physical testing (broken seed and foreign material) was carried out using human senses, chemical testing (moisture content, protein, fiber, ash) was carried out using NIR Foss System and biological testing (aflatoxin) was carried out using TLC method. The data analysis was performed using Independent Sampel T-Test. The research findings showed that there were differences (P < 0.05) to the average quality of broken seed, foreign material, moisture content, fiber, ash and aflatoxy between the farmers and livestock industry. Meanwhile, there was no significant difference (P > 0.05) to the average value of quality of protein and fat content between the farmers and livestock industry. Post-harvest corn yield produced by farmers has not met the standard of the acceptance of raw materials in livestock industry. It is also necessary to improve the modern technology, facility and farmer assistance in handling post-harvest activities of the corn yield.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis marjin pemasaran, farmer share, dan saluran distribusi tomat, kentang, dan kubis di Kabupaten Magelang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu analisis yang bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan atau menggambarkan suatu objek penelitian melalui data yang telah terkumpul lalu diuraikan dan disusun kedalam format yang lebih mudah untuk dipahami. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai margin rata-rata tomat Rp1.766,00 dan rata-rata farmer share 70,92%, untuk kentang rata-rata margin total Rp1.671,00 dan rata-rata farmer share 85,42%, dan kubis memiliki nilai rata-rata marjin Rp1.428,00 dan rata-rata farmer share 69,40%. Saluran distribusi pada komoditas tomat memiliki 6 model saluran pemasaran, komoditas kentang dan kubis masing-masing memiliki 7 model saluran pemasaran.

Abstract

Strategi pertanian hidroponik adalah sebuah pendekatan untuk mengembangkan tanaman dengan memanfaatkan air dan menggantikan tanah biasa. Dalam budidaya tanaman hidroponik, larutan yang kaya nutrisi tidak diperoleh dari tanah. Metode hidroponik memiliki keuntungan karena hanya membutuhkan sedikit lahan sebagai media. Budidaya tanaman hidroponik dapat dilakukan di lahan yang sempit. Budidaya hidroponik merupakan salah satu alternatif usaha pertanian di perkotaan dengan pemanfaatan lahan sempit. Pelatihan dan sosialisasi budidaya tanaman hidroponik untuk optimalisasi lahan sempit di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Semarang merupakan bagian dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan keterampilan siswa dalam berwirausaha. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari sosialisasi kepada siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 2 Kota Semarang dan pelatihan hidroponik. Sebanyak 42 siswa berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan tersebut. Hasil dari pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan berjalan dengan baik. Persentase responden yang menyatakan sangat setuju terhadap pertanyaan dan pernyataan kuesioner meningkat dari 13 menjadi 39 persen sebagai hasil dari pelatihan dan sosialisasi hidroponik.

Abstract

Improving food self-sufficiency requires a strategy to increase paddy rice production. The urban agriculture initiative in Semarang City is seen as a suitable policy. However, the current increase in agricultural productivity through improved production efficiency is hampered by land conversion and inappropriate use of production inputs. The objective of this study is to assess the technical efficiency of wet-rice farming and its influencing factors in Semarang City. Cross-sectional data from 68 respondents were used in this study. The data analysis strategy used in this study is Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) combined with Stochastic Frontier Cobb Douglas production function. The results show that land area, seeds, NPK, urea, and pesticides are the main determinants of rice production. Paddy rice cultivation in Semarang City is technically efficient (0.73). Formal education and other sources of off-farm income are factors that influence the level of technical inefficiency of wet-rice cultivation. Strategies to achieve food self-sufficiency in urban agriculture include developing extension strategies and improving agricultural infrastructure.

Abstract

Increasing corn production requires a supply chain to channel production from farmers to consumers. The supply chain of corn as a raw material for animal feed in Central Java Province is not yet well managed, because each farmer or business is still carried out individually. The aim of the study was to analyze the supply chain picture based on the Food Supply Chain Network and the efficiency of the corn agribusiness supply chain in Central Java. Sampling techniques from farmers using proportional random sampling and snowball sampling methods will lead researchers to the next informant or to related institutions to the final consumer. Data analysis uses the FSCN, Marketing Margin, Farmer's Share and DEA methods. There are 5 corn agribusiness marketing channels in Central Java Province. Marketing margin and farmer's share with Farmer-Cooperative-Consumer chain being the most efficient. Farmer-Village Trader-SubDistrict Trader-District Trader-Consumer marketing channel being the least efficient. Technical efficiency at the farmer level was 2%, at the village trader level 40%, at the subdistrict and district trader levels 37.5%, at the cooperative level 66.67%, at the animal feed company level 40% and at the poultry farmer level 25%.

Abstract

Hydroponic plants are plants that grow using nutrient solutions that contain minerals needed for plant growth. This study was conducted to identify various types of pests that attack mustard and lettuce plants grown in a hydroponic system. The research location was in Mijen Sub-district, Semarang City. Data collection methods used included surveys, interviews, and direct observation in the field which were then analysed descriptively. Observations of pests and diseases were conducted routinely every week until harvest time. Observations from the research location showed that the largest pest population came from the order Diptera (Fruit Flies) with 48 individuals, followed by the order Lepidoptera (Moths) with 33 individuals. Meanwhile, the population of pests from the Hemiptera and Hymenoptera orders (Walang sangit and Honey Bee) had the same number, 18 and 6 respectively.

Abstract

Produksi beras mengalami penurunan terus menerus dari tahun 2020 hingga 2023, terutama karena dampak buruk perubahan iklim, seperti kekeringan dan banjir. Penurunan produksi beras nasional ini secara langsung berdampak pada pendapatan petani padi yang hanya mengandalkan pertanian padi. Akibatnya, hal ini mempengaruhi standar hidup para petani, yang mempengaruhi kemampuan mereka untuk memenuhi kebutuhan primer dan sekunder. Sebuah penelitian dilakukan untuk membandingkan pendapatan dan pengeluaran konsumsi rumah tangga petani padi sebelum dan selama dampak perubahan iklim di Kabupaten Demak. Survei dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2024, dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 248 petani padi yang dipilih secara acak sederhana. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan alat analisis uji-t dua sampel berpasangan, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada pendapatan dan pengeluaran konsumsi sebelum dan selama dampak perubahan iklim. Studi ini menemukan bahwa pendapatan petani menurun sebesar 23,91% selama perubahan iklim, yang kemudian berdampak pada pengeluaran konsumsi rumah tangga petani, yang meningkat sebesar 8,95%. Hasil uji-t mengkonfirmasi adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pengeluaran konsumsi rumah tangga petani sebelum dan selama dampak perubahan iklim, yang menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak bagi petani untuk mengadopsi strategi adaptasi untuk mengatasi penurunan pendapatan, seperti mencari sumber pendapatan tambahan.

Abstract

The resilience and effectiveness of agricultural supply chains are widely recognized in supply chain management. Despite continuous advancements in environmental considerations and the competitiveness and effectiveness of supply chains, there needs to be a thorough evaluation in the literature regarding the influence of sustainable agricultural supply chains on these aspects. This study employs bibliometric analysis to explore sustainable agricultural supply chains, emphasizing essential aspects of supply chain effectiveness and the impact of a dynamically evolving environment. It bridges the divide between environmental science fields and agroindustry. Using the PRISMA VOSviewer methodology for bibliometric evaluation, Eight hundred sixty-one academic papers were meticulously chosen and examined using a thorough method that combines bibliometric and descriptive analysis. The comprehensive literature review uncovers the intricate and interconnected relationship between supply chain performance and sustainable agriculture, emphasizing the importance of promoting sustainability in a competitive business environment within a dynamic landscape. The research expands existing understanding by pinpointing seven clusters and comprehensively summarizing the present research environment. The primary themes and areas of interest in sustainable agricultural supply chains include food security, life cycle assessment, performance, blockchain, and energy. This research sets the course for future academic exploration in this crucial field and presents valuable perspectives for practitioners. The research highlights. The significance of incorporating sustainable methods within agricultural supply chains to enhance sustainability in today's quickly changing business environment, focusing on environmental and social aspects.

Abstract

Berkurangnya lahan yang tersedia untuk budidaya tanaman adalah salah satu ciri khas daerah perkotaan. Lahan pekarangan sebagian besar kurang dimanfaatkan, terutama untuk menanam sayuran. Lahan pekarangan milik warga di Kelurahan Mijen yang terletak di pusat Kota Semarang ini dapat dimanfaatkan meskipun ukurannya kecil. Memaksimalkan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan untuk budidaya sayuran merupakan tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2024 di Kelurahan Mijen, dengan sasaran utama kelompok mualaf, kaum dhuafa, dan penyandang disabilitas. Empat puluh tiga orang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, meliputi mahasiswa, dosen, kaum dhuafa, Lazizmu Kota Semarang, kelompok mualaf, dan kelompok difabel. Terdapat sejumlah aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan tersebut, seperti membuat media tanam untuk menanam sayuran. Sebanyak 69,2% dari hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan mengetahui cara mengatur dan memelihara lahan tanam, dan 100% dari data menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengetahui cara membuat media tanam. Peserta kegiatan menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat, dengan 71,3% mengharapkan bahwa program tersebut akan ditingkatkan dan berkelanjutan.
