Abstract

In the last three years, it has been seen that the level of tourist visits in the City of Bukittinggi has increased significantly. Business actors and the government are also racing to improve tourism infrastructure, including lodging facilities. Based on observations, data was obtained that in 2018 the number of accommodations in the City of Bukittinggi was 107 inns. The number of guests staying in 2016-2017 increased by 1.51%, then in 2017-2018, it increased by 5.66%. This study aims to examine the effect of products and accommodation prices on the purchase interest of tourists in the city of Buktinggi using quantitative descriptive methods. The population used is tourists who have stayed at the accommodation in the city of Bukittinggi, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Primary data was obtained through distributing questionnaires, and secondary data was obtained from the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports, by testing the hypothesis of multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that the products offered affected the purchase interest of tourists, while the price of accommodation did not affect the interest of tourists to stay in the city of Bukittinggi.

Abstract

The problem with the current system is that Try Out for the National Examination at SMP Negeri 35 Makassar is still done manually, therefore I provide a solution for designing the Try Out application, which produces an application that can help students in preparation for the National Examination. This research aims to design an effective and efficient national exam try-out application at SMP Negeri 35 Makassar, implementing the Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) at SMP Negeri 35 Makassar. This data was obtained through literature studies and interviews. Data analysis uses PHP programming scripts and MySQL data. The results of this research show that the Try Out application is user-friendly, has an attractive appearance, and has complete features that can make things easier for students, especially in carrying out Try Outs, so that the process of processing test results is more effective and efficient, the Try Out Application is quite good, useful for users and so needed that it was declared feasible based on the tests carried out, with an average score of 86.00% from 44 respondents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep perkalian matriks dalam pembelajaran matematika di kalangan siswa sekolah menengah atas. Pemahaman yang kuat terhadap konsep dasar perkalian matriks sangat penting karena matriks merupakan bagian integral dari berbagai bidang matematika terapan, termasuk sistem persamaan linear dan transformasi geometris. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara dan tes tertulis sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dasar perkalian matriks, terutama dalam hal aturan baris dan kolom serta aplikasi dalam situasi nyata. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan visual untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep perkalian matriks.

Abstract

This review aimed to identify the determinants of nutritional and health factors associated with high risk of Low Birth Weight (LBW) among infants in Indonesia. The review was conducted systematically based on all articles published between 2012–2022 in PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SAGE databases. In the end, four articles were used in this review. The results showed that potential risk factors associated with LBW are maternal nutritional factors such as Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) (25%) and pre-pregnancy Body Mass Index (BMI) (50%), and maternal health factors that can be assessed during routine Antenatal Care (ANC). Therefore, identification of risk factors for LBW is important to minimize the incidence of LBW.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Antioksidan adalah zat yang diperlukan tubuh untuk menetralisir radikal bebas dan mencegah kerusakan yang ditimbulkannya serta menghambat terjadinya reaksi berantai dari pembentukan radikal bebas yang menyebabkan stress oksidatif. Vitamin C merupakan antioksidan yang baik dan bermanfaat dalam menghambat aktivitas radikal bebas. Vitamin C memiliki struktur yang sama seperti glukosa sehingga vitamin C dapat menggantikannya dalam proses glikolisis nonenzimatik sehingga dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efek konsumsi suplemen vitamin C terhadap kadar glukosa darah puasa mahasiswa Teknologi Laboratorium Medis Poltekkes Palembang. Metode:Penelitian ini bersifat analitik observasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia Klinik Jurusan Teknologi Laboratorium Medis Poltekkes Palembang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 31 sampel yang mana responden diberikan suplemen vitamin C dengan dosis 1000 mg/hari selama 14 hari. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan T-dependen. Hasil:Rata – rata kadar glukosa darah puasa sebelum konsumsi suplemen vitamin C sebesar 75 mg/dL sedangkan rata – rata kadar glukosa darah puasa setelah konsumsi suplemen vitamin C sebesar 78 mg/dL. Dari hasil uji T-dependen didapat hasil p > α (0,05), yaitu p value = 0.225. Kesimpulan:Tidak ada pengaruh konsumsi suplemen vitamin C terhadap kadar glukosa darah puasa Mahasiswa Teknologi Laboratorium Medis Poltekkes Palembang. Kata kunci : Glukosa darah puasa, suplemen vitamin c ABSTRACT Background: Antioxidant is required by the body to neutralize free radicals and prevent the damage caused by them. Besides, it also inhibits chain reactions from forming free radicals that cause oxidative stress. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a good antioxidant for inhibiting free radical activities. Vitamin C has the same structure as glucose so that vitamin C can replace it in the non-enzymatic glycolysis process to reduce glucose levels. Objective: To determine the effect of vitamin C supplement consumption on fasting blood glucose levels in medical laboratory technology students of Palembang Health Polytechnic in 2021. Methods: This study was observational analytic research with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted at the Clinical Chemistry of Laboratory Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Polytechnic of Palembang. Thirty serum samples of the students were taken as research samples. Respondents were given vitamin C supplements at a dose of 1000 mg/day for 14 days. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by a T-dependent test. Results: The average fasting blood glucose level before taking vitamin C supplements was 75 mg / dL, and the average fasting blood glucose level after taking vitamin C supplements was 78 mg / dL. From the results of the T-dependent test, it was found that p> (0.05), namely p-value = 0.225, which means there is no effect of vitamin C supplement consumption on fasting blood glucose levels of the students of Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Polytechnic of Palembang. Conclusion: There is no effect of vitamin C supplement consumption on fasting blood glucose levels of the students of Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Polytechnic of Palembang. Abstract

The integration of digital technology into education presents both transformational opportunities and complex challenges for today's learning systems. This research aims to bridge classical educational philosophy theories—particularly pragmatism, constructivism, and humanism with the realities of digital learning. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research synthesizes findings from scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025 to analyze the application of philosophical principles in technology-based pedagogical practices. The results show that educational philosophy continues to play a crucial role in shaping meaningful digital learning by fostering critical thinking, creativity, independent learning, and ethical awareness. However, issues such as the digital divide, shallow learning engagement, and ethical dilemmas related to data privacy remain key challenges. The novelty of this research lies in its integrative philosophical mapping that connects classical theories with the dynamics of 21st-century digital learning. Practically, the results of this study emphasize the importance of designing a digital education framework grounded in humanistic and reflective values. This research provides conceptual contributions for educators, policy makers, and learning designers to ensure that technology functions as a means of supporting the humanitarian goals of education, not as a determinant of the direction of education itself.

Abstract

The philosophy of science plays a vital role in shaping scientific inquiry, guiding the way knowledge is constructed, validated, and applied across disciplines. However, there remains a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding its relevance and application in the context of contemporary education and technology. Therefore, this study aims to systematically review recent research trends and conceptual developments related to the philosophy of science within the 21st-century academic landscape. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using publications indexed in Scopus from 2015 to 2025. A total of 85 articles were analyzed through bibliometric mapping and qualitative synthesis to identify emerging patterns and dominant themes. The results reveal three major synthesized themes: (1) the integration of the philosophy of science in educational practices to strengthen epistemological awareness; (2) its role in navigating the ethical and epistemic challenges of digital technology; and (3) its contribution to fostering critical and reflective scientific thinking. The novelty of this study lies in highlighting the evolving interface between philosophy of science and technological transformation in education. Practically, the findings provide a conceptual framework for integrating philosophical reflection into scientific and technological curricula. This study contributes to the advancement of science and technology by offering a holistic understanding of how philosophical foundations can support the development of responsible, innovative, and reflective scientific practices.
