Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that can cause various complications, including diabetic foot wounds. Wound healing in diabetic patients is often hampered, so effective therapy is needed. Ozone therapy has shown potential in accelerating the wound healing process through increased tissue oxygenation and antimicrobial effects. This study aims to determine the effect of ozone therapy on the wound healing process of diabetes mellitus at DD Care Clinic Padang City. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretestposttest method. A sample of 10 people was taken with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using the Bates-Jensena Wound Assessment Tool (BWAT) questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxson signed ranks test. The mean diabetic wound healing score before ozone therapy was 41.1 (SD 7.34) and after therapy was 25.3 (SD 7.39). The statistical test showed a P value of 0.005, which indicated a significant difference between the scores before and after therapy. The results showed that ozone therapy is effective in accelerating diabetic wound healing. This therapy works by increasing oxygenation, reducing infection, and stimulating cell regeneration. This finding is in line with previous studies that show the benefits of ozone in wound management. There is a significant effect of ozone therapy on the wound healing process of diabetes mellitus at DD Care Clinic, with a P-value of 0.005. Therefore, it is recommended that healthcare professionals consider using ozone therapy in diabetic wound care protocols to improve clinical outcomes.

About 45% of deaths among children under 5 years of age are related to malnutrition. For determine nutritional status child used index anthropometry Composite Index of Anthropometric ( CIAF ) that is index combining anthropometry _ three index ; weight / age , height / age , and weight / height . Study This aim For know the determinants of nutritional status child based on Composite Index of Anthropometric ( CIAF) in West Sumatra Province .Method : This type of research is quantitative with a cross research design s sectional was carried out in May-August 2018. The study population was 9,164 children aged 24-59 months with sample of 801 children aged 24-59 months in 10 districts and cities in West Sumatra Province . Data analysis used Chi square statistical tests and regression logistics .Research results : Determinants related to children's nutritional status based on CIAF in 10 districts and cities in West Sumatra Province is maternal education with ( p : 0.024 ; OR : 0.588 (0.37-0.93) ) , economic status (p: 0.003, OR: 0.492 (0.31-0.78)), infectious diseases ( p : 0,000 5 ; (OR : 0, 298 (0.21-0.43) ) and food diversity ( p : 0.000 5 ; OR : 0, 2 17 (0.14-0.33) ) . Conclusion:  The most dominant factor influencing children's nutritional status based on CIAF is mother's education . It is hoped that posyandu cadres will be able to provide education regarding child nutrition to mothers so that children's health can be monitored for nutrition to report child nutrition problems.

Background: Coronary Heart Disease is a disease of the coronary arteries that are in charge of  supplying blood supply to the heart muscles so that it can cause a heart attack. Prevention In order to prevent the recurrence of heart attacks in patients with coronary heart disease, they need to carry out massive self-care with the existence of coping strategies that can act as individual responses to the stressors they face. The purpose of this study was to explore how self-care coping strategies in post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) patients. Methods: This study used a phenomenologcal approachwith a qualitative design, and then the data were analyze  used The collaizi method. Research informants were taken using purposive sampling technique, totaling 7 people who did re-control at the Cardiology Polyclinic of RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and field notes. Results: The results of this study identified two themes, namely: problem-focused coping strategy and emotion-focused coping strategy. It can be concluded that the form of coping strategies carried out by post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) patients at RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi varies and the Problem Focused Coping strategy is the main strategy used. There are also participants who use Emotion-Focused Coping strategies. Conclusion: It is recommended that the results of this study can add and provide input as well as reference material for health workers, especially nurses, in providing nursing interventions in the management of chronic diseases during treatment. Keywords: Coping Strategies, Self Care, Coronary Heart Disease, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

Abstract

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure exceeds normal limits, where systolic blood pressure is above 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is above 90 mmHg. One plant that can lower blood pressure is Dayak onion bulbs. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the ethyl acetate fraction of Dayak onion bulbs (Eleutherine bulbosa (Mill) Urb) in reducing blood pressure in hypertensive male white rats. The method was experimental, using 36 male white rats, divided into 6 groups, namely negative control, positive control, dose group (50, 100, 200 mg/kgbb) and comparison group (catopril). The inducer used was 8% NaCl for 14 days. Blood pressure measurements are carried out using a Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) device. Data analysis used One Way Anova and continued with the Duncan test. The results showed that administration of Dayak onion bulb ethyl acetate fraction had an effect on reducing systolic, diastolic, mean arterial blood pressure and heart rate significantly (p<0.05). The conclusion shows that the effective dose in reducing blood pressure is administration of the ethyl acetate fraction at a dose of 200 mg/kgbb. There was a histopathological improvement in the thickness of the left ventricular muscle in mice.

Abstract

An international Community Service (PKM) activity provides strategic insights into the development of a digital technology-based cooperative information system. This study reflects the results of an academic visit to Malaysian national cooperatives, specifically ANGKASA, which has successfully implemented a technology-based integrated cooperative information system. This reflection identified best practices in member management, transaction recording, and digital financial reporting. The findings indicate that cooperative digitalization not only improves management efficiency and organizational transparency but also strengthens cooperative competitiveness at the national and regional levels. This PKM activity strengthens collaboration between universities and the cooperative movement in supporting the digital transformation of Indonesian cooperatives. The implications of this visit are expected to serve as a reference for the development of cooperative information systems in the academic environment and the wider community.
