Abstract

Assessments are vital tools in education, shaping dynamic learning experiences and contributing significantly to overall learner development. In AVSEC training, mandatory tests for license acquisition are a prerequisite for both job applicants and active duty officers contingent upon achieving satisfactory scores. Potential test takers vary in level of formal vocational education with a minimum educational requirement of a high school for job applicants. This study scrutinizes the quality of the AVSEC test, evaluating elements like difficulty index (DIF), discrimination index (DI), and distractor efficiency (DE). Serving as a comprehensive evaluative tool, it provides valuable feedback on proficiency and areas for improvement. In AVSEC item analysis, findings indicate that retaining a low category of Differential Item Functioning (DIF) may be justifiable based on item purpose. The influence of test-taker backgrounds and nuances in classical formal education is reflected in the low Discrimination Index (DI), emphasizing the need for considerations beyond intrinsic item characteristics. Challenges emerge in questions about regulations due to their overly straightforward construction, rendering the substitution of suboptimal distractors impractical. To address potential drawbacks, the training school may contemplate replacing items with similar topics, maintaining the test's purpose while enhancing item quality. This study underscores the delicate balance required in crafting effective assessments within the distinctive context of AVSEC.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the process of developing the concept of digitalization and solutions by PT Gapura Angkasa in dealing with obstacles during the process of implementing digital transformation at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This research was conducted on February 9, 2023 to February 16, 2023 at Terminal 3 Ultimate of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Research data was obtained from the Check-In Counter operational section by including observation of facilities and infrastructure, interviews with the Supervisor of the Check-In Counter section, and digging deeper into the software which is currently entering the development stage. Some facilities and infrastructure such as the Self Check-In Machine, Travelin App, and Digital Wayfinding can be fully used by Passenger but there are still several System Errors so that they still require further assistance or confirmation to the responsible one. While infrastructure such as Face Recognition Camera, and E-KTP Reader are still in the Alpha Testing stage where some of these devices are tested internally and cannot be tested directly on Passenger. The quality of infrastructure and human resources is still one of the main factors behind the adaptation of the latest innovations in Indonesian aviation, and currently Gapura Angkasa is still in the stage of providing education to Passengers regarding the regulations that apply in the airport environment and Gapura Angkasa also in the stage of adapting the Standard Operating Procedure and Standard Use of Hardware & Software socialized by Angkasa Pura to the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Stakeholders. Another step that can be taken by Gapura Angkasa is to fulfill basic needs such as speed & accuracy of information, feasibility of devices, increasing Human Resources so as to produce Operators who are experts in their fields.

Abstract

Keamanan penerbangan di Bandara Banyuwangi sangat bergantung pada kinerja unit Aviation Security (AVSEC) dan peralatan keamanan seperti mesin x-ray, detektor logam, dan CCTV. Sesuai KP 139 Tahun 2018, peralatan ini harus berfungsi optimal untuk menangani peningkatan volume penerbangan, yang naik 15% pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kondisi peralatan AVSEC dan penerapan Standar Teknis Operasi di Bandara Banyuwangi, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam pemeliharaan dan pembaruan peralatan untuk memastikan keselamatan penerbangan tetap terjamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan peralatan Aviation Security (AVSEC) di Bandara Banyuwangi, berdasarkan KP 139 Tahun 2018. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan beberapa personel AVSEC, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menguji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik, dengan langkah-langkah penelitian mencakup perizinan, pengamatan peralatan, inspeksi, dan analisis data. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan peralatan AVSEC layak digunakan dalam mendukung keamanan penerbangan di Bandara Banyuwangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peralatan seperti mesin x-ray dan detektor logam pintu memerlukan peningkatan teknologi, sementara detektor logam genggam, sistem CCTV, dan kendaraan patroli berfungsi dengan baik dan memenuhi standar. Pemeliharaan rutin dilaksanakan, namun tantangan dalam pembiayaan dan pelatihan personel perlu diatasi. Penerapan Standar Teknis Operasi (STO) meliputi penilaian kelayakan peralatan, standar operasional prosedur, pelatihan dan sertifikasi personel, serta kalibrasi dan pemeliharaan rutin, dengan evaluasi kinerja untuk memastikan peralatan berfungsi optimal dan mendukung keamanan penerbangan.

Abstract

Supervision conducted by Apron Movement Control (AMC) on the feasibility of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) vehicles is still frequently found in incidents and violations on the airside. Violations found such as damage to the vehicle engine, vehicle facilities that do not comply with regulations, and oil/fuel spills. This study aims to find out the causes of the lack of supervision of the Apron Movement Control (AMC) unit on the feasibility of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) on the airside and to find out the reasons why Ground Support Equipment (GSE) vehicles that are not operationally feasible are still used on the air side at International Aiports Hang Nadim Batam. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Then data analysis was carried out, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that direct supervision by Apron Movement Control (AMC) of GSE vehicles has not been carried out properly because AMC officers are more focused on garbarata services and Human Resources (HR) are limited, so violations are still found on the airside such us GSE vehicles that are not properly operational. Unfit GSE vehicles are still used for operational activities on the airside due to very busy flight schedules. Abstract

Excellent service has an important role in a business in the field of aviation companies. The main factor Aviation Security System is a written document that contains regulations, procedures and security measures taken to protect aviation from illegal acts, Aviation Security officers have a duty in the supervision of dangerous goods at Adi Soemarmo Boyolali Airport. Internationally, rules related to the security of dangerous goods are specifically contained in annex 18 (the safe transport of dangerous good by air). The implementation of the security system must be well prepared and maximized, because the security system will have a major effect on the continuity of the flight. it was found that the less than optimal security system implemented, there are still frequent problems that occur such as, officers who are less careful in checking passenger luggage and there are still operational support facilities that must be improved. In this study usingIqualitativeImethods,Inamely data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained in the form of interviews with aviation security officers at adi soemarmo boyolali international airport and documents used to carry out daily activities. The results of this study indicate an explanation of the data taken by researchers both in terms of observation, interviews, and documentation that the security system applied by aviation security officers at PCSP 2 is checking tickets, x-ray checks and checking WTMD and HHMD. The results of researchers' observations that the security system implemented at PSCP 2 is said to be optimal in accordance with the applicable SOP. Based on data sources from interviews conducted by researchers, that there are obstacles in carrying out dangerous goods supervision, namely the buildup of passengers in the PSCP area and the factor of lack of human resources.

Abstract

Pelatihan Penyusunan Proposal Hibah Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat DRTPM bagi Dosen Perguruan Tinggi diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dosen dalam menyusun proposal hibah yang sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan oleh DRTPM. Banyak dosen yang menghadapi kesulitan dalam menyusun proposal hibah yang berkualitas, sehingga penting bagi mereka untuk mendapatkan pelatihan yang dapat membekali mereka dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi pemaparan materi, studi kasus, simulasi penyusunan proposal, dan sesi diskusi. Peserta dibimbing untuk mempraktikkan cara menyusun proposal yang efektif, sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan oleh lembaga penyandang dana. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai langkah-langkah penyusunan proposal hibah yang benar. Selain itu, keterampilan praktis peserta dalam menyusun proposal juga meningkat, dan mereka merasa lebih percaya diri untuk mengajukan proposal hibah setelah mendapatkan umpan balik dari fasilitator. Pelatihan ini penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas riset dan pengabdian masyarakat dosen, serta meningkatkan partisipasi mereka dalam program hibah yang tersedia.

Abstract

AMC unit supervision of GSE order is a very important thing to do to maintain security and safety in the airside area, considering that there are still many violations that still occur in the airside area of ​​Mopah Merauke Airport. The aim of this research is to find out how the AMC unit implements monitoring of GSE order on the air side and to find out what obstacles there are and what efforts are made by the AMC unit in monitoring GSE order on the air side of Mopah Merauke Airport. When the author does research, they utilize a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, gathering data through participant observation, structured interviews, and documentation gathered from pertinent sources. The results of this research indicate that 1) AMC unit supervision has not been optimal in carrying out supervision of GSE order. 2) AMC officers have obstacles in monitoring GSE order because they have limited human resources and technology to carry out effective supervision of all GSE activities and lack of awareness and compliance of GSE users. against the procedures that have been established 3) the efforts made by the AMC unit in monitoring GSE order and taking action against officers who commit violations.
