Abstract

ABSTRAKAugmented Reality (AR) adalah penggabungan antara realita dengan gambar dua dimensi atau tiga dimensi melalui media kamera. Augmented Reality mempunyai dua metode yang sering digunakan, yaitu Marker Based Tracking dan Markless Based Tracking. Teknologi Augmented Reality mempunyai banyak fungsi, salah satunya dijadikan alat untuk pengenalan bangun ruang tiga dimensi. Bangun ruang merupakan bangun matematika yang memiliki isi atau volume, serta sisi, rusuk dan titik sudut. Media bangun ruang menyerupai kotak, dengan bentuk kerangka, berongga. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang bangun ruang membuat masyarakat terkadang sulit mempelajari bangun ruang yang digambarkan dalam kertas (dua dimensi). Dari permasalahan tersebut, dilakukannya penelitian untuk membandingkan bangun ruang yang menggunakan dua metode dengan menggunakan marker dan tanpa marker. Aplikasi ini dibangun dengan membandingkan kedua metode yaitu Marker Based Tracking dan Markless Based Tracking. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini, user dapat mengetahui perbedaan hasil bangun ruang yang ditampilkan lebih akurat, serta lebih mudah untuk memahami bangun ruang tiga dimensi.Kata kunci : Augmented Reality, Bangun Ruang, Metode Marker Based Tracking, Metode Markless Based TrackingABSTRACTAugmented reality (AR) is a combination of reality and two dimensional or three-dimensional images through camera as a medium. Augmented Reality has two widely used methods, Marker Based Tracking and Markless Based Tracking. Augmented Reality Technology has many function, one of them is used as a tool to introducing three-dimensional geometric shape. Geometric shape is mathematics shape which had volume, sides, frames, vertex. Geometric shape like cube, with frames, hollow. Public may occasionally hard to understand geometric shape which drawn on a paper (two dimensional). From this problem, the research has been conducted to compare geometric shape using two methods, Marker Based Tracking and Markless Based Tracking. With this application, user can know the difference among geometric shape more accurately, and understand three-dimensional geometric shape with ease.Keywords : Augmented Reality, Geometric Shape, Marker Based Tracking Method, Markless Based Tracking Method
