Abstract

This research aims to develop Articulate Storyline learning media assisted by Plickers based on Problem Based Learning in history subjects. The problems in this research are students who have difficulty focusing, are lazy, and have difficulty understanding what is explained by the teacher. Students also want to use PowerPoint, concept maps, illustrative images to make it easier to understand historical material. The research subjects in this study were class X IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Glagah, Banyuwangi. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research with the ASSURE development model as the development procedure in this research. The development of this media went through a validation testing stage consisting of validation by material, language and media experts, as well as user testing by educators and students. The results obtained were that material experts scored an average score of 4.6 in the outstanding category, media experts got an average score of 4.9 in the outstanding category and media experts got an average score of 4.9 in the outstanding category. For the educator user test, an average score of 4.59 was obtained. The results of the student user test were carried out twice, in the small group user test the average value was 4.7, and for the large group user test the average value was 4.6. Thus, research on Articulate Storyline learning media assisted by Plickers based on Problem Based Learning in history subjects has very good validity and can be used as a learning media.

Abstract

This research is experimental research, experimental research aims to see whether there is a cause and effect relationship between variables. The conditions used during experimental research are that there must be a control class, manipulation of independent variables, and observation. In this research, several stages were carried out, namely the preparation stage, planning stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The tool used to analyze the data in this research is SPSS 26 for window software. because from hypothesis testing it is known that there are differences in learning outcomes in the experimental class which was given the QSH model and the control class which was not given the QSH model in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kencong with results in F (0.079), sig (0.780), and Partial Eta Squared ( 0.001). The effectiveness of the treatment given on student learning outcomes is known from the sig measurement. The result obtained was 0.780. Based on the criteria listed in the table, the effectiveness of the Question Student Have (QSH) model on class XI learning outcomes is included in the high category. Secondly, it aims to measure the effectiveness of the Storythat comic medium based on the Ngideri Dhisah tradition in enhancing students’ visual perceptual skills. This research is a development study or Research & Development (R&D) adopting the ADDIE model by Branch. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Tenggarang with the research subjects being grade X students. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique to measure students’ visual perceptual skills used IBM SPSS V29. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the Storythat comic medium based on the Ngideri Dhisah tradition is suitable for use in the learning process with minor revisions; (2) the Storythat comic medium based on the Ngideri Dhisah tradition can significantly enhance students’ visual perceptual skills with a “Large Effect” category (Relative Effectiveness Test score of 0.83). This research provides initial information for future studies that will examine the effectiveness of the Storythat comic medium in improving students’ visual perceptual skills, particularly in the history learning process.
