Abstract

This study aims to examine the Contribution of the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) in ensuring compliance with sharia principles in sharia fintech institutions in Indonesia, while identifying various problems faced. The method used is a literature study with a secondary data analysis approach sourced from scientific articles, journals, and previous research. The results of the study indicate that the SSB plays a crucial role in ensuring sharia compliance, through periodic supervision, implementation of DSN-MUI fatwas, and development of sharia-compliant products and services. However, this study found a number of challenges, including the weak special supervisory mechanism for sharia fintech and the continued violation of sharia principles on several platforms such as Investree, Dana Syariah, and Peer to Peer Lending Syariah. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening the capacity of the SSB, improving regulations, and increasing cooperation between the SSB and related authorities in order to minimize sharia violations. Thus, this study makes an important contribution to strengthening the sharia supervisory system and supporting the sustainable growth of sharia fintech in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of scientific publications on Marginal Productivity and its relevance to determining modern labor wages during the period 2020 to 2025 using a bibliometric approach. Data was obtained from Scopus basic data by downloading article metadata in RIS and CSV formats, then processed using VOS viewer software with a minimum number of keywords of 5 out of 2,893 keywords, 207 of which met the threshold to produce three types of visualizations, namely network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. The results showed that there were 558 publications related to the topic during the six years of observation with a downward trend from 113 articles in 2020 to 68articles in 2025. Network visualization revealed that "wage determination" was the main node that had the strongest connection with other themes, such as wage gap, labor policy, gender disparity, productivity, and macroeconomic dynamics. The network structure forms several thematic clusters reflecting research focuses, including wage inequality, human capital, labor productivity, monetary policy, and the impact of globalization on the labor market. Meanwhile, the overlay visualization shows a shift in research focus from macro issues, such as monetary policy and industrial structure in the early period, to more social and justice-based themes, such as gender inequality, minimum wages, and worker protection in more recent years. These findings demonstrate that the study of wage determination is developing in a multidisciplinary and dynamic manner, with a growing emphasis on inclusivity, social inequality, and evidence-based labor policy in the context of the modern economy

Abstract

This study examines the thematic evolution and knowledge structure of research on Islamic market mechanisms and economic justice using a bibliometric approach integrated with a systematic literature review. A total of 78 Scopus-indexed publications from 2010 to 2025 were analyzed using PRISMA guidelines and VOSviewer to identify research trends, thematic clusters, and conceptual linkages. The findings reveal three dominant thematic clusters: (1) normative studies focusing on fair pricing, state intervention, and Islamic economic thought; (2) applied studies addressing market distortions, price stability, and Islamic financial inclusion; and (3) emerging themes related to sustainability, halal supply chains, and digital transformation. These results indicate a shift from conceptual discussions toward integration with contemporary economic challenges. Theoretically, this study contributes by clarifying the fragmented relationship between Islamic market mechanisms and economic justice and by mapping their position within the global research structure. Practically, the findings provide insights for policymakers and Islamic financial institutions in designing market systems that balance efficiency with distributive justice in line with maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. This study also highlights future research opportunities in digital economy, regulatory frameworks, and the operationalization of Islamic market principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of research on perfect competition markets from an Islamic economic perspective using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Previous research has generally focused more on market efficiency in conventional economics, while the integration of efficiency, justice, and Sharia ethics has been discussed only to a limited extent in a systematic manner. Furthermore, there are still relatively few SLR studies on perfect competition markets in Islamic economics. This study employs the PRISMA method on Scopus-indexed and web of science articles from 2019 to 2025 using the keyword “perfect competition market in Islamic perspective.” From the initial 85 articles identified, a screening process was conducted based on topic relevance, methodological suitability, and eligibility criteria. Consequently, 10 final articles were selected for in-depth analysis. The results indicate that previous studies have been dominated by discussions of market efficiency and price mechanisms, while aspects of market ethics, Sharia oversight, and distributive justice remain relatively under-researched. Furthermore, most studies remain conceptual and normative, with limited empirical research on the implementation of Islamic markets within the context of modern economics. This study underscores the importance of developing Sharia-based market regulations and models that are oriented not only toward economic efficiency but also toward social justice and welfare.
