Abstract

This study focuses on the evaluation of the production capacity of loading and hauling equipment in limestone mining operations at PT. X, South Sulawesi Province. The selection of this topic is based on the importance of operational efficiency in limestone mining which has a direct impact on the productivity and sustainability of the cement industry. The main objectives of this study are to determine the actual production of loading and hauling equipment, determine the number of equipment needed to meet production targets and identify compatibility factors between mechanical equipment at the mining site. The methods used include field data collection involving measurement of cycle time and production capacity of loading and hauling equipment. The data obtained are then processed using statistical methods to ensure the accuracy of the results. Data analysis is carried out by considering variables such as work efficiency, cycle time, and equipment capacity. The results show that Kobelco SK 480 LC has the highest production capacity (509.34 tons/hour), followed by Komatsu PC 400 (448.25 tons/hour) and PC 300 (417.05 tons/hour). To achieve the Crusher production target of 1450 tons/hour, a combination of loading equipment and dump trucks with a compatibility factor between 0.87 and 0.92 is required, indicating potential for increased efficiency. It is recommended to improve maintenance of equipment and mining roads to optimize productivity.

Abstract

Tempe merupakan produk pangan tradisional Indonesia yang memiliki nilai gizi tinggi serta potensi ekonomi yang besar bagi masyarakat. Di Kelurahan Sidorahayu, Kecamatan Wagir, Kabupaten Malang, ketersediaan tempe berkualitas masih terbatas akibat rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai teknik pembuatan tempe yang higienis dan bernilai jual. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga melalui bimbingan teknis dan pelatihan pembuatan tempe berbasis praktik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei awal, ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung yang mencakup pemilihan bahan baku, proses fermentasi, sanitasi, hingga pengemasan produk. Peserta pelatihan terdiri atas ibu rumah tangga, pemuda, dan anggota Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK). Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menghasilkan tempe yang lebih higienis, berkualitas, dan berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai salah satu usaha rumah tangga. Selain itu, pelatihan ini mendorong tumbuhnya minat kewirausahaan serta inovasi produk olahan berbasis tempe. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan warga dan menjadi langkah awal dalam memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat berbasis potensi lokal.

Abstract

PT Cipta Kridatama merupakan perusahaan kontraktor tambang batubara yang menggunakan metode open pit pada proses penambangannya. Penambangan dengan menggunakan metode open pit penting untuk memperhatikan sistem dewatering dan geotekniknya dikarenakan dua sistem tersebut saling berhubungan dan bisa memepengaruhi produktivitas penambangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tanggul yang optimal sehingga dapat menahan air sump saat curah hujan maksimal sehingga tidak terjadi overflow. Catchment area di Pit XYZ PT Cipta Kridatama mempunyai luas 56.88 ha dengan groundwater flow sebesar 13.37 m3/h. Dari hasil penelitian curah hujan tahun 2013 – 2022 didapatkan curah hujan maksimal rata-rata dengan menggunakan Metode Gumbel sebesar 44.73 mm, curah hujan rencana diambil pada periode ulang 2 tahun sebesar 50.49 mm/h dan total debit limpasan maksimum yang dapat masuk ke sump sebesar 1.438,27 m3/h. Volume main sump yang direncanakan sebesar 77.686,88 m3 dengan elevasi kritis air berada di -11 dan bottom sump berada di elevasi -20. Desain tanggul optimal mempunyai geometri tinggi 10 meter dan kaki tanggul memiliki sudut 50°. Metode yang dipakai menggunakan Metode Bishop Simplified menghasilkan FK 1.669 dengan bentuk lereng tanggul single slope.ABSTRACTPT Cipta Kridatama is a coal mining contractor company that uses open pit method in their mining process. Mining using open pit method is very concerned with dewatering system and geotechnics because these two systems are interconnected and can influence mining productivity. The purpose of this research is to analyze optimal embankment so that it can keep sump water during maximum rainfall so that overflow does not occur. Catchment area in Pit XYZ has an area of 56.88 ha with a groundwater flow discharge of 13.37 m3/h. From the results of rainfall research in 2013 - 2022, the average maximum rainfall using the gumbel method was 44.73 mm, planned rainfall was taken at a 3-year return period of 50.49 mm/h and total maximum runoff discharge that could get into the sump was 1,438.27 m3/h. The planned main sump volume is 77,686.88 m3 with critical water elevation at -11 and bottom sump at elevation -20. The optimal embankment design has a geometry of 10 meters high and the foot of embankment has an angle of 50°. The method utilized using the Bishop Simplified Method resulted in an FK of 1.669 with a single slope embankment slope shape.
