Abstract

PT. Bintang Delapan Mineral is an active nickel mine company that produces 300,000 tons of nickel per month by open pit method. During the mine operation, the company needs to calculate the reserves periodically due to decreasing nickel reserves in the long time period. Mineral reserves estimation is a process to determine and define the grade and boundary of a mineral deposit. Reserves estimation can be done manually using several methods. One method is called block modeling which presents the estimation process in block model type by applying a mining software, called Surpac 6.3.2. It was able to present the progress of mine site activity (pushback). The result of nickel reserves estimation by Surpac 6.3.2 block modeling is 48730 m3 or equal to 73096 tons. The nickel reserves have an average grade of 1.64%. By this reserve estimation, mine sequences could be created into 7 sequences in considering bench height. Bench model specifications are bench high 4 m, berm 2 m, and 60º slope.

Abstract

Rocks that form on the surface of the earth have varying properties and characteristics from the time they were formed to the deposition process. The results of the eruption of Mount Semeru that have been released will experience transportation and deposition and will become rock masses. Rock masses in nature have discontinuous or discontinuous properties caused by weak areas such as fractures, joints, fractures and fissures where the density, filling and orientation of the weak areas are not continuous. Discontinuous planes present in the rock mass will result in reduced shear strength of the rock. Roughness conditions in discontinuous planes can be quantified using Barton's empirical equation using the Joint Roughness Coefficient (JRC) parameter. Therefore, it is very important to know the rock mass characteristics that are affected by the shear strength of discontinuous planes in the eruption rock of Mount Semeru based on variations in shear roughness according to Barton and Choubey's criteria. Observation of discontinuous plane roughness conditions in rocks resulting from the eruption of Mount Semeru is qualified in order to obtain several rock shear strength parameters so that the undulation and cohesion values and friction angles in the surface of the discontinuous plane can be known. The results of this study showed that the JRC roughness value of discontinuous rock areas resulting from the eruption of Mount Semeru ranged from 10 – 20 and based on the reference given by ISRM (1981) it has a value in category V (smooth undulation).

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi dan memberikan peluang usaha melalui budidaya sayuran dan buah segar, sehat dan berkualitas dengan menggunakan teknologi hidroponik kepada masyarakat RT. 11 RW. 01 Kelurahan Tunggulwulung Kota Malang. Keterbatasan lahan pertanian membuat masyarakat harus mencari persediaan pangan dengan harga yang relatif mahal dan kualitas yang belum tentu baik. Dengan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang hidroponik maka akan menambah wawasan, pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan lahan yang terbatas, namun dapat menghasilkan sayuran dan buah dengan kualitas terbaik. Abstract

This research examines the deflection behavior of floor slabs using Hebel blocks as the main material, reinforced with angle iron. The aim of this study is to understand how angle iron reinforcement can enhance the flexural capacity and stiffness of floor slabs made of Hebel blocks. The methodology involved experimental testing of 200 cm x 200 cm floor slabs using Hebel blocks measuring 20 cm x 60 cm x 7.5 cm and 5/5 angle iron reinforcement, with test loads applied through a water tank up to 250 kg/m². Deflection was measured using dial gauges at three different points: at both supports and the mid-span of the slab. The results of the study showed that the use of angle iron significantly improved the slab's stiffness and load-bearing capacity, with a uniform distribution of deflection. The largest deflection occurred at the mid-span, with an average dial 2 reading of 3.284 mm and a maximum deflection of 5.25 mm. Meanwhile, deflection at the supports showed average readings of 2.958 mm on dial 1 and 2.0978 mm on dial 3. This indicates that the deflection at the mid-span experienced the maximum load and deflection. The deflection at the supports, as measured by dials 1 and 3, was relatively symmetrical. The allowable deflection calculated based on SNI 2847-2019 is 11.11 mm or 16.67 mm, indicating that the slab deflection remains within safe limits.

Abstract

This study focuses on the evaluation of the production capacity of loading and hauling equipment in limestone mining operations at PT. X, South Sulawesi Province. The selection of this topic is based on the importance of operational efficiency in limestone mining which has a direct impact on the productivity and sustainability of the cement industry. The main objectives of this study are to determine the actual production of loading and hauling equipment, determine the number of equipment needed to meet production targets and identify compatibility factors between mechanical equipment at the mining site. The methods used include field data collection involving measurement of cycle time and production capacity of loading and hauling equipment. The data obtained are then processed using statistical methods to ensure the accuracy of the results. Data analysis is carried out by considering variables such as work efficiency, cycle time, and equipment capacity. The results show that Kobelco SK 480 LC has the highest production capacity (509.34 tons/hour), followed by Komatsu PC 400 (448.25 tons/hour) and PC 300 (417.05 tons/hour). To achieve the Crusher production target of 1450 tons/hour, a combination of loading equipment and dump trucks with a compatibility factor between 0.87 and 0.92 is required, indicating potential for increased efficiency. It is recommended to improve maintenance of equipment and mining roads to optimize productivity.

Abstract

Kegiatan eksplorasi pertambangan merupakan tahapan awal dalam menentukan suatu wilayah prospek atau tidak untuk ditambang dengan melakukan penelitian akan estimasi sumberdaya maka didapatkan hasil yaitu potensi serta klasifikasi sumberdaya pada suatu wilayah. Pada Desa Toyomarto, Kecamatan Singosari, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur telah diidentifikasi akan adanya potensi sumberdaya andesit dengan melakukan analisis potensi andesit diatas permukaan dan dibawah permukaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui jumlah sumberdaya andesit dan juga mengetahui lapisan batuan yang terdapat dibawah permukaan pada lokasi penelitian. Teknik analisis potensi sumberdaya andesit permukaan dilakukan dengan pengamatan sebaran singkapan andesit serta literatur kajian geologi regional. Kemudian untuk analisis potensi sumberdaya andesit dibawah permukaan dilakukan dengan bantuan data survey geolistrik menggunakan metode Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) dengan konfigurasi Schlumberger. Potensi sumberdaya andesit juga dilakukan dengan menaksir kuantitas sumberdaya andesit menggunakan metode Cross Section didapatkan hasil perhitungan volume andesit sebesar 1.743.938,19 m3 dan tonase andesit dengan densitas 2,65 gr/cm3 sebesar 4.621.435,7 ton.

Abstract

Pengolahan rimpang sebagai bahan dasar produksi jamu tradisional memegang peranan penting dalam industri kesehatan berbasis herbal. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh usaha mikro di Desa Sengguruh adalah keterbatasan alat pengolahan yang efisien, khususnya pada proses pengeringan rimpang yang mempengaruhi kualitas produk akhir. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses pengeringan rimpang dengan penerapan alat pengering hemat energi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan, instalasi, dan pelatihan penggunaan alat pengering berbasis biomassa, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan kualitas rimpang kering. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat pengering hemat energi dapat mengurangi waktu pengeringan hingga 40% dan meningkatkan kualitas produk jamu dalam hal kandungan nutrisi dan kebersihan. Selain itu, teknologi ini juga berkontribusi pada penurunan biaya produksi dan mendukung keberlanjutan usaha mikro di Desa Sengguruh. Implementasi alat pengering ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan usaha mikro lainnya di bidang jamu tradisional di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

Masjid An-Nur Sawojajar 2 terletak di Jalan Subali VI RT 005 RW 018 Mangliawan, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. Masjid An-Nur Sawojajar 2 digunakan warga setempat untuk ibadah sholat lima waktu setiap hari, dan juga ibadah sholat sunah serta ibadah lainnya. Berdasarkan pengamatan kami dan juga keterangan takmir Masjid An-Nur Sawojajar 2, saat ini Masjid An-Nur Sawojajar 2 tidak mempunyai security maupun sistem kaamanan sehingga rawan pencurian dan kejahatan. Kondisi pagar Masjid An-Nur Sawojajar 2 yang pendek dan tidak terkunci berpotensi keluar masuk orang-orang yang tidak dikenal atau orang-orang yang berniat tidak baik. Oleh karena itu Masjid An-Nur Sawojajar 2 membutuhakn sistem keamanan 24 jam berbasis kamera tanpa harus dikendalian manusia setiap saat. Maka solusi dari permasahan tersebut adalah perancangan dan pemasangan closed circuit television (CCTV). Secara Keseluruhan terdapat Empat CCTV dan satu DVR yang telah dipasang disekitar mesjid. Pemasangan CCTV pada Titik Pertama dipasang pada bagian belakang gapura masuk masjid, pemasangan CCTV pada Titik Kedua dipasang pada bagian dinding tempat wudhu pria, pemasangan CCTV pada Titik Ketiga dipasang pada dinding sisi depan kanan (dinding depan shof pertama), pemasangan CCTV pada titik Keempat dipasang pada bagian tengah belakang masjid menghadap kebagian belakang imam, mimbar kutbah, dan shof sholat. Pemasangan DVR pada dinding dalam Masjid difungsikan untuk melakukan perekaman dan tempat penyimpanan data-data rekaman dari Unit CCTV yang telah dipasang.
