Abstract

Wapand Resto Eduentainment is a company which run in a culinary field with their specialty in Chinese and Javanese cuisine made with halal ingredients. Main dishes which usually used in other menus are chicken, shrimp, fish, squid and beef. Wapand also has a huge area which contain fishing pond, ferris wheel, and boutique. But until now, Wapand Resto Eduentainment doesn’t have corporate identity that represent the company which run in a culinary field as well the promotion media. Wapand’s condition right now doesn’t have a logogram which can represent halal culinary company of Chinese and Javanese cuisine, has different logos in every promotion medias, also using red, black, white and yellow as their color identity. So the effort that cneeds to be done for Wapand to represent their culinary business and to compete in a creative industry right now, is to re-design their company’s logo.                Keywords: Resto, Corporate Identity, Brand Awareness

Abstract

The book is a print media that plays a role to provide educational information to all circles of society, pop-up books are books that contain an interactive element when opened and as if there is an object or object that emerged from a pop-up book that provides a visualization of Yang Interesting. In the design of this pop-up book will discuss about the cultural heritage monument located in the city of Surabaya are still many children who do not know the story behind the history of the monument.With the design of the pop-up book of monuments in Surabaya it aims to introduce the history that is on the monument in Surabaya in the form of a pop-up book. By doing research approach to be more focused, hence this research use qualitative research method through collecting data obtained from interview, observation and documentation. Given the lack of books that inform or introduce history on the monument in Surabaya.Using pop-up books, box and cylinder techniques and v-folding support techniques can be mutually informational and read-like for children and can increase reading interest.Keywords: Designing, Pop-Up Book, Cultural Heritage Monument, Surabaya City, Box and Cylinder Technique, History Introduction, Primary School Children.

Abstract

Researchers make direct observations and found that Coban Talun tourism does not have a logo or visual identity that can describe the potential or natural wealth in this tour. In this design, researchers will focus on the logo design process in the goal branding effort.The concept of a logo that has been designed is impressive from data and keyword analysis. The concept is to give a great impression to the tourists who visit this tour by making a visual identity that describes the potential and natural wealth of this tour.In addition to creating logos, the design also designs brand guidelines that aim to provide an explanation of the value and essence of the Kemiren village brand along with guidelines for the use of their logos and applications for design execution. Implementation of designs on stationary sets and promotional media such as designed brochures, x-banners and merchandises intended as an informative medium that can help target audiences in knowing the brands of Coban Talun.

Abstract

Bedhaya Ketawang is a traditional dance which has existed since the Kingdom of Mataram, and  it is one of the cultures in Indonesia. Bedhaya Ketawang is a sacred dance for predecessors, from the previous kings to the future ones. However, people usually misinterpret the meaning of Bedhaya Ketawang as time goes by. Therefore, a research to create a reference book about Bedhaya Ketawang as a part of history of culture which should be protected. The technique of collecting the data used is through observation, interview, and the study of literature, the study of competitor, and documentation. Each data collected has an important role to the emerged case on designing the reference book of Bedhaya Ketawang using the technique of Digital Watercolour, Illustration for teenagers around 18 to 21 years old as cultural observation efforts, so it requires a lot of accurate data which the result can be responsible. The data is used to find out the initial concept of designing the reference book of Bedhaya Ketawang.The result of the reference book of Bedhaya Ketawang  and media implementation has had the elements which are informative from the background of the art to the meanings in the aspects of Bedhaya Ketawang. Based on the concept, the keyword used is Supportive which supposed to be the media reference that can get the positive responses for audiences, which are teenagers from 18 to 21 years old.

Abstract

Kotabaru District is one district in South Kalimantan Province is geographically quite unique, which in addition to having many islands, beaches and oceans as well as most of the island of Borneo also has mountains, valleys and plains as well as the persistence of the forest area or inland. This diversity is raised exotic nature so that it can be used as a tourist attraction. Therefore, as the introduction of South Kalimantan Kotabaru District tourism as well as to promote the tourism sector in Kotabaru, the authors put it in the form of beach-based tourism promotion design videography. The research method uses qualitative methods with data collection technique using observation, interviews, literature, and existing. The concept used in the design is the "beauty". That is the concept of beach tourism Kotabaru district, South Kalimantan has the beauty and uniqueness of each coast. The concept will be applied to any design that includes video and other supporting media. The results of the video and the media promotion of shore excursions are an attempt introduction of tourism in the district of South Kalimantan Kotabaru to attract tourists to visit. Abstract

Tari Beskalan Putri Malang adalah kebudayaan seni tarian dari Kota Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang Provinsi Jawa Timur. Tarian Beskalan Putri awal tahun 1940 dan adalah tarian di Kota Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang. Tarian Beskalan Putri ini adalah memiliki kebudayaan, berkembangnya jaman saat ini, lama kelamaan tarian ini semakin dilupakan, dikarenakan kurangnya kalangan masyarakat Kabupaten Malang untuk melestarikan tarian ini. Untuk itu, buku panduan ini dibuat untuk memperkenalkan, memberi nilai edukasi, dan sebagai acuan untuk mempelajari Tari Beskalan Putri Malang. Diharapkan video ini dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat Kabupaten Malang

Abstract

Researchers make direct observations and found that the village tourism Pujiharjo Malang regency does not have a logo that describes the potential owned and lack of supporting media to promote the village.in destination branding design, the researcher only focuses on logo and supporting media as a promotion form of Pujiharjo tourism village. the concept of a logo that has been designed is a fraternity, which in the concept describes the form of the fraternity owned Pujiharjo village. Supported media designed include brochures, banners, x-banners, and merchandise as a destination to promote the Pujiharjo tourist village in order to attract more tourists.

Abstract: In today's modern era children tend to be happy to follow new trends that make them interested in the culture of foreign country rather than the culture of the country itself. This is what makes our country culture rarely glimpsed by children, Arts Ludruk is one that has been inherited by Cak Durasim in the city of Surabaya, but not all people in Surabaya, especially children - children recognize the figure Cak Durasim. Children need to be introduced about the history of Cak Durasim in order to be more able to appreciate and awaken the patriot's soul about the arts of his own country. The purpose of Cak Durasim's history illustration book is to re-introduce the history of Cak Durasim to the children in Surabaya and to awaken the heroic soul. The research was conducted using qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques and through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. By raising "Extraordinary" as a found keyword, the word "Extraordinary" is interpreted as extraordinary, special or something unusual. Abstract

That is the concept of "Remarkable" presented to provide information to the target audience that nature Kayangan Api Bojonegoro Regency East Java has the beauty and uniqueness. The concept will be applied to any design that includes video and other supporting media. The results of the video and the media promotion of the natural attractions are as efforts to introduce tourism in Bojonegoro Regency East Java to attract tourists to visit. Besides promoting the natural attractions that can be enjoyed in various media.

Abstract

Traditional games, a game that has existed since antiquity, and is one of the many cultures that exist in Indonesia. Traditional game is often used as an activity to fill the spare time in antiquity. However, today traditional games are rarely encountered in many places, due to the declining interest of children today against traditional games. Thus the researchers made a comic book that themed traditional games, remember the children who still love the media of comics in the present day. Data collection techniques that will be used in searching for things related to traditional games are through observation, questionnaires, interviews, literature studies, competitor studies, and documentation. The data obtained will have an important role to the problems that arise on The design of traditional game comic books with digital painting techniques for children aged 6-12 years as an effort to preserve the culture, thus requiring a lot of accurate data so that the results obtained can be accounted for. This data is used to find out the initial concept in traditional game comic book design. The result of the design of traditional game comic books as well as the implementation of the media already contains informative and educative elements about the traditional game being lifted, namely the umper plot and the castles. Based on the keyword concept used that is delightfull. So it is expected to be a medium of entertainment as well as a fun learning media for the target audience, ie children aged 6-12 years.Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Buku komik, Permainan tradisional, Petak umpet, Benteng-bentengan, Delightfull, Digital painting.
