Abstract

This research is focused on the variations and functions of language in the social network of twitter. The purpose of this study is (1) to find out the language variations in the social network of twitter, (2) to describe the form of language use in the social network of twitter, and (3) to describe the language functions in the language use of the social network of twitter. The data in this study were analyzed by using the theory of Sociolinguistics and the theory of the Language Structure. The method and technique used in this research were observation method and note-talking technique in obtaining the data, the data analysis was conducted by qualitative method, and the results of data analysis were presented by formal and informal methods. Based on the study, the language variations of the social network of twitter can be divided based on language variation in terms of speakers, the variation in terms of topics and variation in terms of formality and in term of the use of language forms found in the social network of twitter, that there is variation in the level of syntactic grammatical forms, namely the postings contain phrases, clauses, sentences and single sentence, and compound sentence as well as discourse type of exposition. It was also found three language functions in the social network of twitter, i.e. (1) the directive, (2) the expressive and (3) the informative functions.

Abstract

Secara umum bullying dapat didefinisikan sebagai perilaku yang agresif yang dapat menimbulkan tekanan emosional dan kerugian lainnya, menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kekuatan (power difference), dan dilakukan secara berulang. Bullying dapat terjadi dengan manifestasi perilaku fisik maupun verbal. Paparan video game dan acara televisi saat ini yang banyak menunjukkan perilaku kekerasan, seperti sinetron remaja, film layar lebar, dan komedi situasi juga meningkatkan risiko remaja untuk meniru tindakan kekerasan yang mereka lihat dalam media. Maraknya penggunaan sosial media melalui internet di kalangan remaja juga berpotensi untuk menjadi salah satu media untuk melakukan cyber-bullying. Karena itu dilakukan suatu program penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan siswa SD Negeri 024868, Binjai Barat untuk mencegah dan menghadapi kejadian bullying di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Gadgets are media that are used as modern communication tools. Now communication activities have developed increasingly more advanced with the emergence of gadgets. Gadgets have an impact on early childhood social development. Excessive use of gadgets will have a negative impact on children's social and emotional development. The negative effects of using gadgets on children include children becoming closed personalities, sleep disturbances, being alone, violent behavior, fading creativity, and threats of cyberbullying. With the results of this socialization activity, it provides education to service participants, namely Al-Washliyah Berastagi Private Elementary School students so that they can minimize the negative impact of using gadgets

Abstract

The learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic was diverted using an online system, where some adjustments had to be made to keep achieving maximum learning targets. One of the interesting learning media that can be used is the use of interactive PowerPoint applications which are proven to be able to increase students' interest and motivation, as well as improve their learning achievement.Interactive Powerpoint is an interactive slide that contains learning material so that users can use it to get information and knowledge from the media. The method of this literature study is a systematic review (systematic literature review). Based on the results of literature study research, that the use of interactive powerpoint as a learning media makes it easier for students to understand the subject matter, its use is practical, conveys information clearly because the presentation is more attractive so as to foster motivation and improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The term body shaming is intended to ridicule those who have a physical appearance that is considered quite different from society in general. Maybe for some people the act of Body shaming is a joke, but if it is practiced regularly, it will undoubtedly have an effect on the victim's mentality due to shame. In this regard, it is necessary to have media to distribute information and invitations not to engage in body shaming. As a result of this counseling activity, Al-Washliyah Berastagi Private Elementary School pupils who are service participants receive education. it is hoped that later there will be an increase in awareness in selecting the topics of conversation with the interlocutor, also not paying too much attention to other people's personal matters

Abstract

The difficulties experienced by fourth grade students at Al-Washliyah Berastagi Private Elementary School in the Indonesian language subject are proven by the percentage of student learning in the class of 43% of students completing. The cause is the use of learning models that are rarely used resulting in low student learning outcomes, students are less active in the learning process because the learning process is still teacher-centered, students' learning attitudes are boring, and teachers rarely use media during learning. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to find out how learning is implemented, how complete student learning outcomes are and whether student learning outcomes improve. The model in this research uses the Suharsimi Arikunto research model which consists of 4 stages, namely; planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students at Al-Washliyah Berastagi Private Elementary School with a total of 21 students, consisting of 7 male students and 14 female students. Data collection techniques use teacher and student observation sheets, a 5-question multiple choice test and documentation. The results of the research are as follows: The results of teacher activities reached a percentage of 87.3% (very good). The results of student activities reached 92 (very good). The results of individual and classical completion were 19 students with a percentage of 90.4% who completed their studies. The average student learning result reached a score of 90. The percentage increase in student learning outcomes for cycle I and cycle II reached a percentage of 16.8%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that by using the Contextual Teaching And Learning learning model, the implementation of learning criteria is very good, the learning outcomes are classically complete and improved in Class IV Indonesian Language Subjects at Al-Washliyah Berastagi Private Elementary School for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

Berkembangnya teknologi dan informasi yang sangat cepat di Indonesia memudahkan bagi masyarakat untuk bisa berkomunikasi dengan orang lain tanpa batas, baik itu untuk mengembangkan bisnis, pengetahuan, maupun untuk saling bertukar informasi tanpa terhalang oleh waktu dan tempat, dan lebih memudahkan masyarakat dalam mendukung kegiatan dan rutinitas sehari-hari. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan umum untuk memberikan gambaran serta pemahaman tentang bagaimana cara menggunakan media sosial yang bijak agar tidak terjadi penyalahgunaan yang berujung pelanggaran UU ITE. Masyarakat pengguna media sosial atau Medsos harus lebih bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial untuk mengekspresikan kebebasan berpendapat agar tidak terjerat kasus pidana. Selain itu, ekspresi kebebasan berpendapat ini harus memegang etika agar tidak terjerat pada kasus hukum pidana di Undang Undang No 19 Tahun 2016 Jo UU No 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (ITE). Sebab UU ITE ini akan mudah memidanakan kasus pencemaran nama baik, penghinaan dan ujaran kebencian. Penyuluhan tentang fenoma klitih dan penanggulangannya bertujuan untuk menanggulangi dan mencegah aksi klitih pada anak-anak di SD NEGERI 040459 BEASTAGI. Penanggulangan aksi-aksi Klitih ini tidak cukup dilakukan oleh aparat penegak hukum Kepolisian, namun harus melibatkan berbagai unsur, seperti orang tua, tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, lembaga pendidikan dan masyarakat pada umumnya.

Abstract

Permasalahan mengenai mempermalukan bentuk fisik atau tubuh seseorang atau body shamming sudah tidak tabu atau asing lagi, khususnya di Indonesia. Maraknya kejadian terkait kasus penghinaan bentuk tubuh atau fisik orang lain (body shamming) yang terjadi di masyarakat ini, menuntut aturan hukum yang ada sebagai jaminan perlindungan terhadap hak-hak para korban akibat penghinaan citra tubuh (body shaming). Fenomena tersebut menjadi tujuan dilaksanakannya PkM ini, yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi tentang Perlindungan Hukum Dalam Body Shamming serta memberikan pemahaman tentang tindak pidana penghinaan citra tubuh (body shaming) pada anak-anak di SD Swasta Tahfizh Quran Karimah Berastagi. Selain itu, Anak-anak dapat mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan, informasi, dan edukasi agar tidak terjerat dengan kasus hukum tindak pidana penghinaan citra tubuh (body shamming) sehingga dalam proses kehidupan bermasyarakat dan bersosial tidak terjadi penghinaan atau body shamming.

Abstract

Perlindungan hukum merupakan upaya hukum yang harus diberikan oleh aparat penegak hukum untuk memberikan rasa aman kepada masyarakat baik bagi jiwa maupun raga dari gangguan dan ancaman dari pihak manapun. Perlindungan anak yaitu segala aktivitas dalam melindungi dan menjamin anak dan hak-haknya untuk bisa berpartisipasi, berkembang, tumbuh, dan hidup dengan maksimal berdasarkan martabat dan harkat kemanusiaan, dan memperoleh perlindungan dari diskriminasi dan kekerasan. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan perlindungan anak, kepastian hukum harus dilakukan untuk mencegah tindakan yang tidak diharapkan. Dibutuhkan sistem perlindungan terpadu sebagai wujud pencegahan kekerasan pada anak. Upaya pencegahan kekerasan terhadap anak dibawah umur dilakukan dengan cara melakukan penyuluhan dan sosialiasi mengenai undang-undang perlindungan anak dan hak-hak anak, serta dampak kekerasan kepada pembentukan karakter dan kesehatan anak.

Abstract

Perlu dilakukan tindakan dan upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan media sosial sebagai sarana melakukan kejahatan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui sosialisasi. Tujuan sosialisasi ini yakni untuk mempresentasikan penggunaan media sosial dalam berinteraksi agar mengetahui terlebih dahulu etika berbahasai media sosial penting untuk menjaga komunikasi yang positif dan konstruktif. Ini mencakup penggunaan bahasa yang sopan, menghindari kata-kata kasar atau provokatif, serta tidak menyebarkan informasi yang tidak benar, sosialisasi ini juga bertujuan unutuk menjelaskan aturan yang berlaku dalam beretika dimedia sosial yaitu ada pada pasal 27 sampai 30 UU ITE.
