Abstract

This article will discuss the implementation of PAI learning in building students' religious values at SMP Satu Atap 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. This article comes from qualitative-descriptive research using data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are the reduction stage, presentation stage and drawing conclusions. The results of the research reveal that the implementation of Islamic religious education learning in building religious values in students is carried out by applying it in daily activities such as getting used to saying hello, shaking hands, being polite in speaking, polite in behavior, and mutual respect for both teachers and fellow students. Meanwhile, intra-curricular learning of Islamic religious education in building the religious values of students at SMP Satu Atap 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur is carried out in a systematic way using the 2013 curriculum and in accordance with the learning elements. The obstacles faced are educational background, and often feeling bored in class, which makes students rowdy in class. Artikel ini hendak membahas tentang implementasi pembelajaran PAI dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius siswa di SMP Satu Atap 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur.  Artikel ini berasal dari penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahap reduksi, tahap penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius pada siswa dilakukan dengan menerapkannya dalam kegiatan keseharian seperti membiasakan mengucapkan salam, berjabat tangan, santun dalam  berbicara, sopan dalam bersikap, dan saling menghormati baik dengan guru maupun sesama teman. Sementara itu pembelajaran intrakurikuler pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun nilai-nilai religius peserta didik SMP Satu Atap 2 Tanjab Timur dilakukan dengan cara sistematik dengan menggunakan kurikulum 2013 dan sesuai dengan unsur-unsur pembelajaran. Adapun kendala-kendala yang dihadapi adalah latar belakang pendidikan, dan sering merasa bosan dikelas sehingga membuat siswa-siswi gaduh di kelas.

Abstract

Menanamkan pendidikan Islam pada anak sejak dini berarti ikut mempersiapkan generasi bangsa yang berkarakter, anak-anak adalah calon generasi bangsa yang diharapkan mampu memimpin bangsa dan menjadikan negara yang berperadaban, menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai luhur bangsa dengan berakhlak mulia serta menjadi generasi yang berilmu pengetahuan dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.. Oleh karena itu pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah sebagai salah satu upaya pembentukan karakter siswa sangatlah penting. Pembentukan karakter anak akan lebih baik jika muncul dari kesadaran keberagamaan bukan hanya karena sekedar berdasarkan prilaku yang membudaya dalam masyarakat. Dalam mengacu pada perilaku, sikap, dan moralitas seseorang. Akhlak mencakup aspek etika, moralitas, dan tata krama yang diatur oleh ajaran agama Islam. Akhlak adalah bagian penting dari ajaran Islam yang melibatkan hubungan antara manusia dengan Allah dan hubungan antara manusia dengan sesama manusia. Caranya adalah terus berusaha untuk selalu ber-akhlakul karimah sebagaimana sudah dicontohkan oleh Rasulullah seperti tawadlu, lemah lembut, sabar, berbuat berbuat baik kepada orang yang berbuat buruk, dan lain sebagainya. Akhlak yang baik akan menjadi benteng, akan menjadi perisai atau pelindung dalam setiap langkah kehidupan. Sehingga, manusia tidak akan berbuat dosa. Hasilnya, pembangunan disemua bidang akan stabil.

Abstract

Integrating moral values into early childhood education remains a critical issue for educators and policymakers worldwide. This study explores the implementation of moral values education in public and religion-based kindergartens in Yogyakarta. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were gathered through surveys and interviews from a sample of 20 kindergartens, ten public and ten religion-based, across five districts. The research focuses on how core moral values such as politeness, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation are taught and incorporated into daily learning activities. Results indicate that both public and religion-based kindergartens emphasize similar core values, though religion-based institutions place added importance on religious practices like daily prayers. Storytelling is more frequently employed in religion-based kindergartens to teach moral values. In contrast, public kindergartens utilize more diverse strategies, including group activities and discussions. Teachers in public kindergartens often encounter challenges with inconsistency between home and school environments regarding moral education, while those in religion-based kindergartens report difficulties managing children during religious activities. The findings underscore the need for improved home-school collaboration in public kindergartens to ensure consistency in moral education. In contrast, religion-based kindergartens could benefit from adopting more interactive and reflective teaching methods to foster critical thinking in children. Teacher training programs should focus on equipping educators with culturally sensitive strategies for moral education. Although this study offers valuable insights, its findings are geographically limited to Yogyakarta, and future research should broaden the scope to include different regions and assess long-term impacts on children’s moral development.

Abstract

This study uses a library research method, namely research whose main object is books and other literature as the object of analysis. The primary data source is the interpretation of the Qur'an al-'azim. While the secondary data sources are the interpretation books written by the scholars and supporting books related to the problem being studied. The method used is the maudu'i method, namely thematic method by collecting and compiling all verses or hadiths that have the same direction, then analyzing them from various aspects to then presenting them into a particular theme with the nature of analytical descriptive research. The purpose of the study is to explain and facilitate understanding the meaning of the role of Islamic education in the family environment in the formation of Muslim personality, as well as to increase and expand insight into thinking about the meaning of Islamic education and also the principles of Islamic education. The results of this study indicate that as a consequence of faith, a Muslim should be consistent and consistent in studying, studying and even contemplating the contents of the Qur'an. By studying its contents, we will add to our new treasury, broaden our horizons of thought and knowledge, increase new perspectives and always encounter new things. Furthermore, we will be more convinced of the uniqueness of the contents of the Qur'an which shows the Greatness of Allah as the Almighty Creator. Based on the results of the analysis both textually and contextually on the role of Islamic education in the family environment in the formation of Muslim personality, there are several implications including: the concept of Islamic education in the family environment, the urgency of education in the family environment in the formation of Muslim personality, the implementation of family education in the household in forming Muslim personalities, describing the patterns of application of Islamic education carried out in the family environment, namely in the household in order to realize Muslim personalities, the formation of Muslim personalities in the family environment from the perspective of Islamic education, the concept of informal Islamic education in the family environment, and the last is other verses or arguments concerning the importance of Islamic education to realize ideal personalities according to Islamic teachings

Abstract

"Reading Corner" is a literacy cultural activity carried out by students during their free time, in between classes, to read books available in the designated reading corner. Reading is a crucial activity in the teaching and learning process, as it is the skill of absorbing knowledge through textual materials. The "Reading Corner" activity is implemented as an effort to enhance students' reading interest and is applied as a habitual practice. The primary goal is to cultivate a literacy culture in the school through the creation of a reading corner in the auditorium of SMP Muhammadiyah Langsa. The establishment of the reading corner in the school's auditorium is conducted collaboratively with the students of SMP Muhammadiyah Langsa. The aim is to restore the role of the library as a center for empowering students to develop literacy-based potential. This engagement involves preparation, the promotion of the reading corner in the school auditorium, and the actual implementation of the reading corner. The outcome of this engagement is the formation of the reading corner at SMP Muhammadiyah Langsa. It is hoped that the establishment of this reading corner will contribute to the enhancement of the school's literacy culture.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 040459 Berastagi dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam mengajar secara bilingual (Bahasa Indonesia–Bahasa Inggris) serta memperkuat pendidikan karakter dan literasi global siswa. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa guru masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam kemampuan berbahasa Inggris, belum tersedianya perangkat ajar bilingual, serta belum optimalnya integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, penyusunan modul ajar bilingual, pendampingan praktik mengajar, serta evaluasi keberlanjutan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan classroom English, penyusunan media ajar digital, serta kepercayaan diri dalam mengajar dua bahasa. Siswa juga mengalami perkembangan signifikan dalam komunikasi dasar Bahasa Inggris serta peningkatan karakter seperti percaya diri, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab. Produk pengabdian berupa modul ajar bilingual, video pembelajaran, e-book, dan pembentukan Kelompok Guru Bilingual menjadi bukti keberlanjutan program. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran, produktivitas guru, dan tercapainya indikator IKU 5 serta SDGs 4 dan 8.
