Abstract

PT. Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY is one of the companies in Indonesia engaged in the processing of palm oil with regional and domestic product marketing. PT. Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY has problems related to the company's supply chain, where until now, the supply chain performance measurement management system is still not optimal. The measurements are still functional-based, carried out in each division or section in PT. Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY. The solution to this problem is sought by measuring and improving the performance of the company's supply chain. The research method used is action research. Problem-solving is done using a supply chain operations reference approach. The results of supply chain performance measurement are 28 key performance indicators (KPI), namely 6 for the plan perspective, 8 for the source perspective, 4 for the make perspective, 6 for the deliver perspective, and 4 for the return perspective. The average total index value is 7.42. Based on the traffic light system, the index value is in the yellow category, indicating PT's supply chain performance. Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY has not achieved the expected performance despite the results being close to the set targets.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) Reihan Convection is a home industry company manufacturing bags. This company is still experiencing problems in increasing bag sales. This research aims to formulate a business development strategy so that companies can consider it to increase bag sales. This study uses the SWOT and QSPM methods. The SWOT method is used to determine strategy, while the QSPM method is used to specify alternative techniques used by the company at this time. The research results were obtained for SO strategy focused on product development, ST concentrating on maintaining and improving product and workforce quality, WO establishing solid partnerships with related parties, and WT concentrating on practical and targeted promotions. The alternative strategies obtained are Product Development (TAS = 6.350), Integration strategy (TAS = 6.290), and Intensive strategy (TAS = 5.761).

Abstract

Currently, waste is a very serious environmental problem faced by Indonesian society in general, especially inorganic waste such as plastic bottles, containers or plastic packaging that accumulates causing problems in the environment. Community service activities that have been carried out at Darul Mursyid Islamic Boarding School, lecturers transfer knowledge by providing presentation materials on how to process inorganic waste and how to preserve the environment, makes handicrafts from recycled materials so that it can increase students creativity. The purpose of community service activities is to provide understanding to Darul Mursyid students to maintain and increase environmental knowledge and process recycling waste, especially inorganic waste, into items that can be reused

Abstract

PT. Panorama Destination Medan is a travel agent that has European and Asian markets. This PT is located on Jalan Air Bersih No. 55 Medan. In its services, PT. Panorama Destination always makes every effort to achieve customer satisfaction. However, in the last few months PT. Panorama Destination experienced a decrease in passengers, unlike in previous months, this occurred due to unsatisfactory service for passengers. The aim of this research is to find out what attributes need to be improved. Based on the results of data processing and data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that: Based on calculations carried out to measure the level of service quality provided by PT. Panorama Destination, the results obtained are that the level of service quality that has been obtained does not satisfy passenger expectations, where the Responsiveness dimension has a Negative Gap value which has a satisfaction value of 3.730 and an importance value of 3.738 so it has a Gap value of -0.008 2. From the Dimension that has a negative Gap value, namely Responsiveness then Attributes that must be considered in efforts to increase passenger satisfaction are attributes a. Employees are very responsive in handling passenger complaints b. Employees are always eager to help passengers

Abstract

Tujuan akhir produksi dari suatu perusahaan adalah untuk memperoleh keuntungan, keberlanjutan dan pengembangan usaha. Di sisi lain ada tuntutan konsumen yang harus dipenuhi perusahaan. Tuntutan konsumen pada umumnya meliputi kualitas baik, harga murah, penyerahan tepat volume dan waktu, produk fleksibel dan variatif. Supaya tujuan kedua belah pihak (produsen dan konsumen) terpenuhi maka perusahaan harus mampu membuat perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi dengan memerhatikan semua tujuan tersebut. Capacity Requirements Planning menetapkan kapasitas dibutuhkan untuk membuat rencana kebutuhan material. Secara khusus, horizon perencanaan adalah tahun, time buckets adalah minggu, dan revisi dibuat mingguan atau bulanan. Proyeksi dari kapasitas adalah antara pekerja dan / atau jam mesin dengan work center. Dari hasil laporan perhitungan CRP pada UMKM Kiki Mie ternyata didapat kekurangan kapasitas waktu dalam memenuhi permintaan. Jadi dalam perencanaan ini penulis memberikan revisi perencanaan laporan CRP, dapat diketahui bahwa dengan metode peramalan terpilih mengalami total kekurangan kapasitas waktu sebesar -416 jam / tahun, sedangkan dalam usulan perbaikan menggunakan metode CRP mengalami kelebihan kapasitas menjadi 1209 jam / tahun, sehingga metode CRP lebih baik, karena kekurangan kapasitas waktu yang dihasilkan dari metode peramalan terpilih yang kekurangan menjadi berlebih dan bisa di optimalkan untuk meningkatkan permintaan produksi yang tinggi mencapai batas maksimal kapasitas waktu dan produksi yang tersedia. Dalam mengoptimalkan kapasitas waktu dan produksi yang ada dengan menggunakan jam kerja 5 jam / hari dengan 1 shift kerja dengan menyesuaikan work centre yang ada.

Abstract

This research at UKM Himasweet Tembung evaluated snack food (chocolate) packaging that was less attractive and standard, using clear plastic without information on halal logos, composition, or trademarks. The research aims to design more attractive packaging according to consumer desires, using the TRIZ method, which focuses on previous experience and eliminates contradictions. Adequate packaging is essential to protect products, convey information, and increase appeal. A survey method with a questionnaire of 100 respondents was used to collect data. Analysis using TRIZ produces recommendations for packaging improvements. As a result, the ideal snack packaging is a yellow aluminum foil standing pouch with dimensions of 14 x 25 cm (250 gr), yellow brand writing, ziplock, product information, and a picture of the snack (brown) to represent the product.

Abstract

This research highlights the importance of meeting employee needs to increase work efficiency and effectiveness at PT SEN, a company operating in the oil and gas industry. Using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, this research aims to translate employee desires into technical attributes that management can implement. Through surveys and data collection from 25 respondents, the service attributes desired by employees have been identified, evaluated for validity and reliability, and linked to company performance. The research results show that several attributes, such as laptops with high specifications, comfortable workspaces, and integrated work dashboards, are top priorities for PT SEN employees. Service attribute performance is evaluated through the House of Quality (HOQ) matrix, and target values are set, guiding the improvement and development of necessary facilities and infrastructure. The analysis also leads to identifying unnecessary or less essential attributes of employees. In conclusion, QFD is a practical approach to determining priorities for meeting the needs of PT SEN employees. The analysis results provide significant insight to direct management in improving the work environment and service for employees by focusing on the attributes most prioritized by employee teams.

Abstract

Motorcycles are a convenient mode of transportation for daily activities. The Giant Jaya Motor motorcycle repair shop, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), operates in sales, repair services, maintenance, and spare parts supply. Efficient maintenance and repair services are crucial for smooth operations. The workload at the Giant Jaya Motor workshop is very high, and the operators often need more time to rest, leading to decreased performance and wasted time during services. This study aims to determine the standard time and workload of the operators using the Work Sampling method. This method, similar to a stopwatch time study, is classified as direct work observation because the measurement activities are carried out at the actual workplace being studied. The data processing results show that the standard time required to service one motorcycle is 26.34 minutes, with a working time percentage of 89.41%. It is recommended that the Giant Jaya Motor workshop organize a more efficient work schedule to provide sufficient rest time for operators to reduce fatigue and improve performance. Additionally, improving time management and providing training for operators can reduce time waste and increase overall productivity. Implementing more efficient technology or tools can also speed up maintenance and repair processes without compromising service quality.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The queue process at UMKM El Laundry is a process related to the arrival of consumers who bring dirty clothes and then wait in line, then the dirty clothes are finished processing and the consumers leave the laundry. The current conditions at UMKM El Laundry are with an average number of arrivals of 20 people/day with the number of dirty clothes 20 kg/person. This has resulted in a buildup in serving consumers, where currently the service time limit applied by UMKM themselves is 8 hours/day for regular services. Data was obtained through observation for 1 month, namely in December 2022. The queuing method used is Multi-channel - single phase using Anylogic simulation. The results of calculations using the Multi-channel - single phase method show that queues occur due to lack of facilities in the process. After being analyzed using Anylogic simulation, it was proven that the queue could be minimized by adding washing machines, which were originally 3 units, to 4 units, and dryer machines, which were originally 3 units, to 4 units. So that the Queue Length which was originally 0.04 minutes became 0.94 minutes, Queue Time per agent from previously 0.50 minutes to 6.14 minutes, and service utilization which was originally 0.18 minutes to 0.75 minutes or 75% more fast in the service process, so that queues can be minimized. Abstract

The success of children in learning is strongly influenced by several factors such as the teacher, tools or facilities, facilities and infrastructure, the surrounding environment. One of the educational facilities and infrastructure that supports learning that is not given enough attention is the study desks and chairs for students in class. Tables and chairs are one of the most closely related factors in improving the quality of learning. If the tables and chairs are not ergonomic, during the learning process students will easily feel tired and not focus when learning takes place.This study aims to determine the factors that influence musculoskeletal complaints in students and find out whether adjustable tables and chairs can reduce these complaints. Completion in this study using anthropometric methods.The conclusion of this study is that there are several factors that cause musculoskeletal disorders, namely non-ergonomic seating, high chairs, high tables, inappropriate sitting positions, and sitting too bent. Where the results of the study stated that each table and chair size must be in accordance with its users, so that it can be used comfortably.   Keywords: adjustable tables and chairs, musculoskeletal, anthropometry.
