Abstract

Teacher professions in Indonesia were initially underestimated because they only received low salaries and were not standard when compared to other professions such as the lawyer's profession, the medical profession, and the accounting profession. Whereas in Japan, being a teacher is a dream for all young people because the Teacher's profession has been equated with other professions since 1886. But in the Era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's Government, through Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, the fate of Master was raised as high as possible through Teacher Certification. The aspect of consumer needs in fulfilling their daily needs since the teacher received a certification allowance is a phenomenon that the condition of the teacher is better than the previous conditions. This research uses phenomenological qualitative methods. Based on the results of the study in general the certified teachers in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri in Malang City have a fairly high spirit in carrying out the tasks which are realized, among others in the form of certification allowances functioned to improve self-quality by attending training, workshops, and seminars and buying equipment and supplies sufficient to support teaching.Keywords: professionals; lawyers; doctors; accountants; certifications

Abstract

In order to achieve the authority cannot be separated from political culture in society, political culture according Ranney, there are two main components of political culture, namely cognitive orientations and affective orientations. Meanwhile, Almond and Verba more comprehensive reference on what formulated by Parson and Shils about classification of orientation types, that political culture contains three components as follows: cognitive orientation, affective orientation, and evaluative. In Indonesia also has various religions including Islam, Christian, Hindu, Buddha, and Konghucu. Sometimes, some people believe to witchcraft. Belief /religion of Indonesia people star from the simplest, for example fetishism, animism, pragmatism, and totemism. Belief and religion do not look traditional and modern societies even in Australia, America, and Africa totemism is a system that occupies the position as a religion and become the basis of social organization. Abstract

There are many factors which contribute to the successful of learning in social science. The factors can be identified as input, process and output. The input factor consists of raw input, instrumental input, and environmental input. The process is related to teaching theory, class management, assignment, evaluation and teaching management. While, out put is related to the progressive development of the student.   This article is an effort to contribute to theory in learning problem of social science; this is by offering an alternative learning approach. The strategy is called as cooperative learning process. This strategy takes four steps, namely: orientation, exploration, depth-understanding, and conclusion. Keyword:  Orientation, Exploration, Depth-understanding, and  Conclusion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Teacher Certification on Professionalism, Sustainable Self Development, and Job Satisfaction Teachers IPS MAN Malang Post- Certification. This study uses a quantitative approach and data taken by means of cross- section data collected at the same time from many subjects and retrieval of this data is only done once. In this research the data collection method used is by using questionnaire (questionnaire) that is given to all teachers IPS MAN Se Malang city that has been certified. Primary data taken are data about teacher professionalism, ongoing self-development and job satisfaction. While the questionnaire about teacher performance is filled by the Principal. Other secondary data is the number of teachers who have certification / teacher identity already certified. Measurement scale for primary data by using Likert Scale. Testing data  used validity and reliability test. The result of this research is that Teacher Certification to Professionalism, Self Development and Work Satisfaction of Teacher IPS MAN Malang Post Certification ". Abstract

The importance of creativity in social studies learning activities is to determine changes in behavior, knowledge, and skills in solving social problems that can be applied. This encourages researchers to develop the Gallery Walk learning method that can increase the creativity of students through the Social Sciences learning curriculum for class VII MTS Shirothul Fuqoha'. The purpose of this study is to (1) explain the planning for the development of the Gallery Walk learning method in increasing the creativity of students in social studies subjects for MTS Shirothul Fuqoha' Malang students. (2) Explaining the implementation of the Gallery Walk learning method in increasing students' creativity in social studies subjects for MTS Shirothul Fuqoha' Malang students, (3) Explaining the results of implementing the Gallery Walk learning method in increasing students' creativity in social studies subjects for MTS Shirothul Fuqoha' Malang students. The research method in this thesis uses the R&D (Research and Development) research method with the ADDIE development model. The measurement of validity of the development results was measured using an assessment questionnaire by validators of method experts, material experts, social studies teachers, and students of class VII B as the experimental class and class VII C as the control class. The results of the study are as follows: (1) there are 5 development processes, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate. (2) Product assessment through questionnaires got scores: 90% method expert, material expert 78%, social studies teacher 92%. All of these values ​​are stated as “No Revision Needed”. (3) The results of the calculation of the Paired Samples Test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000. Because 0.000 < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the Gallery Walk learning method can increase the creativity of students. Abstrak Pentingnya kreativitas dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPS yaitu untuk mengetahui perubahan tingkah laku, pengetahuan, maupun keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah sosial dan dapat diterapkan. Hal tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik yang sesuai dengan kurikulum pembelajaran IPS untuk kelas VII MTS Shirothul Fuqoha’. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Menjelaskan perencanaan pengembangan metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa MTS Shirothul Fuqoha’ Malang. (2) Menjelaskan implementasi metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa MTS Shirothul Fuqoha’ Malang, (3) Menjelaskan hasil implementasi metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa MTS Shirothul Fuqoha’ Malang. Metode penelitian dalam skripsi ini menggunakan metode penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pengukuran validitas hasil pengembangan diukur menggunakan angket penilaian oleh validator ahli metode, ahli materi, guru IPS, siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat 5 proses pengembangan yaitu: Analysis, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluate. (2) Penilaian produk melalui angket mendapatkan nilai: ahli metode 90%, ahli materi 78%, guru IPS 92%. Seluruh nilai ini dinyatakan “Tidak Perlu Revisi”. (3) Hasil perhitungan Uji Paired Samples Test diperoleh nilai signifikasi (2-tailed ) sebesar 0,000. Karena 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk dapat meningkatakan kreativitas peserta didik.

Abstract

The development of technology certainly has a major impact on the world of education, one of which is the innovation of learning media. The existence of this learning media innovation, the teacher can increase student learning motivation which will also have an impact on student learning outcomes. This study to develop interactive learning media based on the google sites website in improving learning outcomes in social studies subjects at Ngebruk Islamic Junior High School. The method used is the R&D method. This study used 3 classes, namely the experimental class, the experimental class and the control class with 20 students. The results obtained in the experimental class through the pre test post test, namely the pre test value of 77.8 post test of 82.7. The control class had a pre-test score of 73.2, post-test 80.6. For the validation assessment, media experts get a score of 94%, material experts, 78%, social studies teachers 78%, student responses 80%-100%. It can be concluded that the implementation of the learning media on the google sites website can improve learning outcomes in social studies subjects at the Ngebruk Islamic Middle School. Then it can be said that this development media is feasible and does not need revision and the responses of students who feel happy. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi tentunya memiliki dampak besar bagi dunia pendidikan, salah satunya yaitu inovasi media pembelajaran. Adanya inovasi media pembelajaran, guru bisa menambah motivasi belajar siswa yang nantinya juga akan berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website google sites dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajara IPS di SMP Islam Ngebruk. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode R&D. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 kelas yaitu kelas uji coba, eksperimen, dan kelas kontrol ada 20 siswa. Hasil yang didapatkan pada kelas eksperimen melalui pre test post test yaitu nilai pretes 77,8 postes 82,7. Kelas kontrol nilai pretes 73,2 postes 80,6. Untuk penilaian validasi ahli media mendapatkan nilai 94%, ahli materi, 78%, guru IPS 78%, respon siswa 80%-100%. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan media pembelajaran website google sites ini bisa meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Islam Ngebruk dikatakan media pengembangan ini layak dan tidak perlu revisi serta respon siswa yang merasa senang.

Abstract

The development of science, technology and information can be seen very quickly as time goes by, so that it has an impact on the behavior of many students which is not in accordance with a religious character. One form of solution is to implement a congregational prayer program in educational institutions. This research aims to determine the importance of Islamic education, students' implementation of Islamic education through the congregational prayer program, factors inhibiting the implementation of congregational prayers. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach which was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Jetis Ponorogo. This research analysis has three stages, namely sorting data that has been obtained from the field, collecting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are (1) Islamic education is very important for students as a provision for quality life now and in the future, (2) Implementation of the congregational prayer program consists of dhuha prayers, midday prayers and asr prayers. The congregational prayer program is also participated in by all school stakeholders so that they are able to provide a positive example or uswatun khasanah for students. (3) Factors inhibiting the implementation of congregational prayers include lack of self-awareness of students, the influence of bad character from friends, lack of affirmation from parents.
