Abstract

Cultural tourism is a type of tourism that specifically conserves the various resources it uses, namely tourism that develops culture in a sustainable manner. Bali has wealth in the form of a variety of cultural arts, customs and traditions, and religious procedures and their existence as a legacy from the past. Cultural arts in Bali can live and develop influenced by various religious ceremonial activities. This study analyzed the reconstructing the cycle of life as a cultural tourism attraction in the Samsara Living Museum. This study aims to find out the destination branding and the life cycle of the Balinese people which are appointed as the concept of this samsara living museum. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and literature study. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. This study concludes that the Samsara Living Museum has sparked destination branding and has implemented the reconstruction of the Balinese life cycle as a cultural tourism attraction. Abstract

Karangasem Regency has a very varied topography such as plains, hills and mountains. Through the image ofthe destination "Karangasem, The Spirit of Bali", Karangasem Regency has a vision and mission to preserveand introduce the existence of authentic Balinese values. Strengthening the image of destinations inKarangasem Regency is carried out through the development of the Samsara Living Museum of Life becausethis museum is not limited to mere physical space but interprets the noble values of Balinese people such asrituals, traditions, culture, and local wisdom. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection usesseveral methods such as interviews, observation and documentation. This research using key person as theinformant. The results show Samsara Living Museum puts forward activities related to the preservation ofBalinese art and culture. The implementation of management at the Samsara Living Museum consists ofpreserving cultural heritage assets, such as heirlooms, historical manuscripts and literacy, art and culturepackaging, building basic facilities, and building community business units.Keywords: Operation Management, Karangasem Regency and Samsara Living Museum

Abstract

Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) sebagai cara untuk berbagi informasi, pengalaman, atau opini tentang produk atau layanan melalui media digital saat ini dianggap lebih efektif dalam mempromosikan sebuah destinasi pariwisata. eWOM diberikan oleh pelanggan kepada pelanggan lain atau calon pelanggan dengan tujuan memberikan saran atau pandangan mengenai pengalaman mereka dalam menggunakan produk atau layanan tertentu. Keberadaan Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) membantu memperkuat keputusan untuk mengunjungi sebuah destinasi pariwisata karena eWOM dianggap sebagai sumber informasi yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth terhadap citra merek dan keputusan untuk mengunjungi Gili Trawangan Lombok, dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra merek terhadap keputusan untuk mengunjungi Gili Trawangan Lombok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.0, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 100 responden. Kuesioner didistribusikan melalui purposive sampling kepada wisatawan domestik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa electronic word of mouth berpengaruh signifikan terhadap citra merek, electronic word of mouth berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan untuk mengunjungi, citra merek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan untuk mengunjungi, dan electronic word of mouth berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan untuk mengunjungi melalui citra merek. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai masukan untuk manajemen Gili Trawangan Lombok untuk meningkatkan penggunaan eWOM sebagai alat pemasaran dan memperkuat citra merek Gili Trawangan. Keputusan untuk mengunjungi Gili Trawangan sangat dipengaruhi oleh Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM), sehingga manajemen Gili Trawangan harus mempertimbangkan untuk memperluas pemasaran melalui media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of Room Prices, and Facilities on Guest Stay Decisions at The Aveda Boutique Hotel. This study uses data collection techniques in questionnaires, interviews and documentation. This type of research is a type of quantitative research. The population in this study were guests staying at The Aveda Boutique Hotel using the Accidental Sampling sampling technique with 75 respondents. This study uses a quantitative method with SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) version 25.0. This study obtained the results of multiple linear regression analysis Y = 8.962 + 0.431X1 + 0.461X2 which shows that room prices and facilities positively affect guest decisions to stay at The Aveda Boutique Hotel. The t-test results show t-count room price 3.021 and t-count facilities 4.124> t table 1.666, which means the hypothesis is accepted. Then the F test results show Fcount 29.548> Ftable 3.123, which means the hypothesis is accepted. From the results of the T test and F test analysis, it can be concluded that room prices and facilities significantly affect both partially and simultaneously guest decisions to stay at The Aveda Boutique Hotel. The coefficient of determination test results shows that the effect of room prices and facilities is 45.1% on guest stay decisions, while other variables outside this study influence the remaining 54.9%. In this study, the most dominant variable influencing guest decisions to stay in facilities with a value of 0.437. Abstract

Kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran sudah mulai berkembang menjadi komunikasi pemasaran digital. Perkembangan industri pariwisata di Bali sudah mulai banyak mengembangkan konsep health and wellness torusim. Salah satu akomodasi yang menyediakan jenis produk dan faslitas tersebut adalah Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort Ubud, yang terletak kawasan Ubud Gianyar dengan didukung oleh kondisi alam yang baik dalam mendapatkan pelayanan health and wellness tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan beberapa cara seperti wawancara, triangulasi, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort Ubud telah mengimplementasikan beberapa kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran digital dengan baik sebagai salah satu upaya dalam mempromosikan seperti advertising yang bekerja sama melalui media pers lokal online, personal selling melalui produk yang ditawarkan situs website, direct marketing melalui komunikasi secara langsung sekaligus interaktif di media sosial akun pribadi perusahaan dan sales promotion memberikan informasi terkini mengenai promosi, branding perusahaan di media sosial dalam menjaga eksistensi. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine strategies for the quality of employee performance and hoteldevelopment after Covid 19 to improve the quality and standards of guest comfort. Various hotel sectors in theNusa Dua area are competing with each other to improve and renovate everything that is still lacking andmaximize it for the comfort of guests visiting the hotel. the hotel and in general to increase the hotel's incomeand of course also have a big impact on the attractiveness of tourists who visit the hotel. The Covid-19 pandemichas become a global problem that has not only hit the health sector but also Bali tourism in particular. Thedecline in the tourism sector is demonstrated by the decrease in the number of room occupants and the averagelength of stay of guests at each hotel in Nusa Dua. This decline meant that hotel revenues were greatly reducedand they had to bear high operational costs. So, a quality strategy for employee performance is needed forhotels in Nusa Dua, especially at the Conrad Bali Hotel, in preparing work guidelines for the progress andcontinued comfort of guests staying at the hotel. By using interview analysis of one of the employees at theConrad Hotel Nusa Dua, Bali, the results were found to be the best quality strategy for employee performance.For example, creating and rearranging guidelines or procedures to increase the level of standardization andquality of work for every employee who works at the Conrad Hotel Nusa Dua. And supported by the use of theentire tourism workforce to seize and take advantage of maximum opportunities. Such as supporting nationalto international scale activities carried out in Nusa Dua, Bali. Some of the suggestions given to support thisresearch are that hotels in Nusa Dua, Bali in particular must be more active in carrying out various promotions,either through online promotions, through online travel agents, social media or through tourism organizations such as through the tourism office. Bali, influencers and the central government are still supported by CHSEcertificates and maintaining health protocols during the pandemic to maintain the safety of tourists visitingand staying in Nusa Dua, Bali. Apart from that, during the pandemic period where we don't know how long itwill end, hotels can collaborate with local governments to intensify promotions to friendly countries which canincrease foreign exchange sources and regional income, for example Chinese and Russian tourists.Keywords: Employee quality, work strategy, tourism development.

Abstract

Pengempu Waterfall is one of the tourist attractions located in Cau Belayu Tourism Village, which is currently a tourist location that is busy being visited by local and foreign tourists. The purpose of this research is to describe the tourism potential of the Pengempu Waterfall and analyze the strategy for developing the attractiveness of the Pengempu Waterfall as a natural tourism in Cau Belayu Village. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and SWOT analysis to describe tourism potential and to formulate a tourism development strategy for Pengempu Waterfall. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis technique, namely analyzing internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) with the help of the SWOT matrix. The results of this study are that the strategy used in developing the Pengempu Waterfall as a natural tourism in Cau Belayu Tourism Village is the potential of 4 A, (attraction, amenity, accessibility and ancillary), with the role of stakeholders helping the development of tourism in Pengempu Waterfall using the SWOT strategy namely strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Abstract

The problems at Santika Seminyak Hotel are that employees seem unenthusiastic and only work because of work demands, do not receive wages to employees during overtime, and a lack of promotion also results in decreased work motivation and employee morale. In addition, the communication that occurs is also not good enough, so it cannot be separated from the problem of miscommunication. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and communication on morale. The location of this research is Santika Seminyak Hotel. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The population includes all employees who work at Hotel Santika Seminyak, with a sample of 41 respondents. The data analysis technique used is Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Data Instrument Test, Classical Assumptions, Multiple Linear Regression, t, F, Determination. Based on the results of the study, obtained the results that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on morale, communication has a positive and significant effect on morale, and work motivation and communication have a positive and significant effect on morale. Suggestions that can be given by researchers are that Santika Seminyak Hotel is expected to provide incentives according to the amount of work achieved by employees, provide training to employees, and always provide rewards to increase employee morale.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the work environment and compensation on employee performance at Four Star by Trans Hotel. The respondents in this study were 70 employees who worked at Four Star by Trans Hotel. Data collection was carried out by means of surveys, observations, interviews and documentation. This research uses quantitative descriptive data analysis to see the linear relationship between the work environment, compensation and employee performance using SPSS software. The results of this research are first, the work environment partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Four Star by Trans Hotel Bali; second, partial compensation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at Four Star by Trans Hotel Bali; third, the work environment and compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Four Star by Trans Hotel Bali. The conclusion of this research is that improving the work environment and compensation will improve employee performance.
