Abstract

This study aims to develop LKPD oriented scientific approach in improving students' science process skills and determinity the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of LKPD on the material properties of objects. The research and development procedure used the ADDIE model which was: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of the study based on the validator's assessment of the material aspect obtained an average score of 0.85, the language aspect is 0.86 and the media aspect is 0.89. From these three aspects, the overall average is taken, the value of 0.86 is obtained in the very valid category. The results of student responses to the product obtained an average score of 81.56 in the very practical category. While the results of the effectiveness show that the scientific approach-oriented worksheets are very effective in improving students' science process skills. Based on the results of the assessment, it can be concluded that the scientific approach-oriented worksheets developed are very valid, practical and effective for use in the science learning process in improving students' science process skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the material, language, media, and student responses, as well as the effectiveness of the PBL model-based learning video development product effectiveness to improve critical thinking in elementary school science learning. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research. The model used in the development is a 4-D model. The subjects in the study were students of SDN 63 Lubuklinggau, totaling 21 students of class VA as the control class, and 25 students of class V B as the experimental class. The instrument used in this research is an interview guide, a questionnaire, and a test of understanding this concept in the form of essay questions through pretest and posttest. To measure the effectiveness of concept understanding, two tests were conducted, namely before and after the learning took place in the experimental class and the control class. The data analysis technique in this study is validation analysis using Aiken's V and Interrater Reliability, teacher and student responses, and quantitative analysis using N-gain. From the research results, it is known that the results of material, language, and design validation, as well as student responses to learning videos are very feasible and good for use in learning so that students are happy and interested in learning. The results of the effectiveness of effective learning videos affect students' understanding of science concepts. Based on the gain-score test from the learning video, it gives a moderate gain score of 66%. So that students' understanding of science concepts who use PBL-based learning videos to improve critical thinking is higher than students who only use textbooks from school so that they are declared effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop worksheets with a scientific approach based on the ethnomathematics of the traditional Cak-Belikak game on polygon geometry material in grade IV elementary schools that are valid and interesting for students. The LKPD development model used is the 4D model from Thiagarajan, which consists of the following stages: 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, and 4) Disseminate. Development activities are limited to the development stage (Develop). The dissemination stage was not carried out due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The results of the analysis of the validity of LKPD using the Aiken's V formula show that the results of the development of LKPD in this study, "Very Feasible" with an average coefficient of validity of the experts' assessment is 0.91. Furthermore, the results of the reliability analysis of the experts' assessments using the Percentage of agreements (R) formula from Cohen Kappa show that the percentage of agreement of the material expert validator is 75% (moderate), the percentage of agreement of the linguist validator is 78% (moderate) and the percentage of agreement of the media expert validator is 84% (strong ). And based on the results of the analysis of students' responses, it shows that the percentage of students' attractiveness to LKPD is 95% (very interesting). Based on the results of this analysis, it shows that the LKPD with a scientific approach based on ethnomathematics of the traditional Cak-Belikak game on polygon geometry material in grade IV of elementary school is feasible and interesting.

Abstract

This study aims to develop LKS with integrated realistic mathematics. The development model used is a procedural model of Borg & Gall with six stages, namely (1) Preliminary Study (Research and information collecting), (2) Planning (Planning), (3) Development of Initial Product Design (Develop Preliminary form of Product). (4) Preminary Field Testing. The research was carried out at SD Negeri 01 Pendopo and the subjects of the research were 28 students in class IA. The result of this study is an integrated LKS of realistic mathematics on valid number material based on the assessment of material experts, linguists, and media experts. The feasibility value of the material expert is 0.9833, the feasibility of the linguist is 0.958, while the feasibility of the media expert is 0.8. And the student response was 9.6% while the teacher gave a positive response. These results showed that LKS with realistic mathematical integration was feasible and received a positive response.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the logical feasibility, empirical and student learning outcomes profile. The product of developing the HOTS Assessment Instrument in Class IV Science Learning at SDN 21 Bengkulu Tengah. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The model used in development is the ADDIE model. The subjects in the study were students of SD Negeri 21 Bengkulu Tengah, totaling 20 students in grade IV. The instrument used in this study was an interview guide, and the concept comprehension test was in the form of multiple choice questions. To measure the logical and empirical feasibility of conceptual understanding, it was carried out on fourth grade elementary school students. The data analysis technique in this study is validation analysis using Aiken's V and Interrater Reliability, as well as quantitative analysis using the research profile. From the results of the research it is known that the results of material, language, and design validation of the assessment on HOTS questions are very feasible and well used in learning so that students are happy and interested in learning. The results of this study only calculate the value of success, namely the profile of student learning outcomes answering the level of C4 82% and C5 77.50% in terms of multiple choice questions.

Abstract

This study aims to make GLS a success in elementary schools by presenting comics based on Bengkulu folklore. This type of research is research and development (R&D). The subjects in this study were grade IV, V, and VI students at SDN 04 Bengkulu City. The object of this research is a product in the form of Bengkulu folklore comic media. The research data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. Quantitative data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. The data from the validation results were analyzed using Aiken's V. The results of the research on the validity of the material experts are 1) the content aspect, the index value of V is 1.00, the Aiken correlation coefficient shows that if it is in the range > 0.8 with the "very valid" category. 2) the language aspect, the V index value of 0.96 is said to be very valid. 3) the presentation aspect obtained an index value of V 1.00 so it is very valid or feasible. The results of the validity of the media expert, namely in terms of the graphic aspect, obtained a value of 0.97 which was categorized as very valid. The results of the material expert reliability test scores 1) the content aspect obtained a reliable value of 1 with a percentage of 100%, if the reliability coefficient if it ranges from 0.80 - 1 then the level of agreement is strong. 2). The language aspect obtained a reliable value of 0.9 with a percentage of 90%, so the level of agreement of opinion is strong. 3) the presentation aspect has a reliable value of 0.9 with a percentage of 90%, so the level of agreement is strong. The results of the media expert's reliability test assessment in terms of the graphic aspect obtained a reliable value of 0.8 with a percentage of 80% stated that there was a strong opinion agreement. So comics are really worth trying out. The results of the assessment of the student response questionnaires that answered yes as many as 28 people (93,3%) and answered yes and no as many as 2 people (6,67%) then the comics were very interesting.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the elements of knowledge, context and science processes in the assignments in the 2013 Curriculum 2013 students' thematic books Themes 1 to 5 content of Science class VI Elementary School. This type of research is descriptive research. The object of this research is the elements of knowledge, context, and science process which are analyzed for their appearance in the 2013 Curriculum 2013 students' thematic books Themes 1 to 5 content of Class VI Elementary Science Science lessons. The research instrument is an analysis sheet of elements of knowledge, context and science processes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. Appearance percentage category uses rater agreement percentage formula. The results showed that: 1) Elements of knowledge in the thematic books of science content for Class IV, namely indicators presenting concepts with an average percentage of 54.24% with percentage details in theme 1 of 50%, theme 2 of 50%, theme 3 of 54.55% , theme 4 of 50%, and theme 5 of 66.67%. (2) 18 appearances of the context elements of Theme 4 with the most indicators namely issues concerning natural resources 6 times (33.33%), issues concerning the environment 4 times (22.22%), issues about danger 2 times with a percentage of 11.11%, and indicators of issues regarding the boundaries of science and technology 6 times (33.33%). (3) Process elements in Theme 2 are 23 occurrences (76.67%), Theme 1 are 22 occurrences (73.33%), Theme 5 are 21 occurrences (70%), Theme 3 are 18 occurrences (60%), and Theme 4 with 17 occurrences (56.67%).

Abstract

This study aims to detemine the effect of the guided incur learning model assisted by YouTube videos on factual, conceptual and procedural knowledge of students’ science in Class V. This research is a quantitative study. The method used quasy experiment. The design in this study Non-Equivalent control Group Design. The population in this study were all grade V students in the Madrasah Ibtidayah Darussalam Bengkulu City. The sample in this study is the VA Class of 22 students the experimental class, and the VB Class of 22 people as the control Class. The instrument used in the from of a written test consisted of dimensions of factual, conceptual and produral knowledge consisting of 20 multiple choice questions and 5 descripsion questions. The research data used inferential analysis of one-way Anova with the help of SPSS 20. The results showed that there was an influence of YouTube’s guided inquiry model in science learning on material change in material form on the factual,conceptual and procedural know ledge of science students in fifth grade MI.

Abstract

This This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model with YouTube video media on the creative thinking abilities of students in science learning in fifth grade elementary school. This research is a quantitative research. The method used is quasy experiment. The design in this study is One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 22 South Bengkulu. The sample in this research is 21 VA students. The instrument used in the form of written tests consisted of dimensions of fluent thinking ability, flexible thinking ability, original thinking ability, detailed thinking ability, and thinking ability to judge. Research data using inferential analysis paired Samples T-Test with the help of SPSS 16.0. The results showed that there was an influence of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model with YouTube video media on the creative thinking ability of students in science learning in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) Describe the Development of Mathematics LKPD based on the contextual approach of fifth grade students 2) Describe the Feasibility of LKPD Mathematics based on the contextual approach of fifth grade students. 3) Describe the withdrawal of LKPD Mathematics based on the contextual approach of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Bengkulu Tengah. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The population in this study were all grade V SDN 88 Bengkulu Tengah accredited A. The sample in this study was 15 students. The assessment instruments in this study used a questionnaire of the validation of LKPD experts and practitioners obtained from the calculation of Aiken's V. index The attractiveness questionnaire was obtained from students' responses to LKPD obtained from the Likert Scale. Data obtained from the results of the validation of the feasibility of LKPD on the Content / Material aspects 0.7144, Language aspects 0.7, Design / graphic aspects 0.714, the average agreement of experts and practitioners on the feasibility of LKPD obtained 0.709. Analysis of student responses obtained a maximum score of 65.333 with interesting criteria. Thus it can be concluded that Contextual Based Mathematics LKPD is worth testing in a limited scale.
