Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed learning practices in higher education, particularly in the development of foreign language listening skills. This quasi-experimental study examined the effectiveness of an AI-based microlearning platform integrating authentic Vlog content in improving Arabic listening comprehension. Sixty undergraduate students participated in a four-week, one-group pretest–posttest design. Data were collected through listening comprehension tests and classroom observations. The results revealed a statistically significant improvement in students' listening skills, with a large instructional effect, indicating a meaningful pedagogical impact. Although proportional learning gains were relatively low, this outcome reflected high initial proficiency levels rather than limited intervention effectiveness. Observation results confirmed high fidelity throughout the intervention. Overall, the findings support the integrating of microlearning, multimodal video input, and AI-driven adaptivity as a practical approach to enhancing Arabic listening skills in higher education.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the Mubasyarah method in enhancing the Arabic language proficiency among seventh-grade students at Harsalakum Bengkulu Secondary School. The research employs a quasi-experimental quantitative approach. The target population consists of seventh-grade students at Harsalkam Bengkulu Secondary School, with cluster sampling used to select two groups: Class V-A (25 students) as the experimental group and Class VC-C (26 students) as the control group. Data collection involves pretest, treatment, and posttest phases. Analysis techniques include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. Data analysis is conducted using SPSS version 26, and the t-test results show a significance value of  0.000, which is less than the threshold of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Consequently, it can be concluded that the Mubasyarah method effectively enhances the language fluency of seventh-grade students at Harsalakum Bengkulu Secondary School.

Abstract

The utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Arabic language learning is crucial in the Society 5.0 era, where technology significantly enhances educational quality. Arabic language learning faces challenges, particularly in grammatical aspects, translation, and speaking and writing skills, which require a more adaptive and practical approach. This study examines AI's application in Arabic language learning within the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on technologies such as Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML), E-Muhadathah, GAFE, Powtoon, and Alexa. A qualitative library research approach is employed, with data analyzed descriptively through relevant themes. The findings indicate that AI can optimize Arabic language teaching by reducing human error, speeding up the evaluation process, and supporting the development of students' Arabic language skills. However, challenges related to costs, machine creativity limitations, and adequate infrastructure must be addressed. In conclusion, AI offers a potential solution to enhance Arabic language learning. However, the success of learning still depends on the active involvement of both students and teachers in the process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of morphology and syntax in Arabic language functions. This type of research is a literature study; data collection is done by searching and constructing various sources, both books and journals and research that has been done. The technique applied to analyze the data is content analysis. This analysis process involves several stages. First, the researcher performs editing, which involves reviewing the data that has been obtained. Next, the organizing step is carried out, where the data that has been collected is rearranged according to the predetermined framework. Finally, the inference stage was carried out, which involved further analysis of the results of the data compilation. The results show that morphology and syntax play a role in language functions of communication, self-expression, and analysis, reflected in the ability to speak, write, read, and understand texts.
