Abstract

The fishery sector is one of the economic sectors that has contributed significantly to the economy of Luwu Regency, production activities to the distribution of fishery products in the Minapolitan area require a spatial structure plan for the coastal area to be developed by accommodating the concept of the Minapolitan spatial structure which has become a sectoral guideline in Luwu Regency. Based on this, it is necessary to direct the development of the Minapolitan area through the identification of the factors that influence the development of the minapolitan area of North Belopa District. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approaches, with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, quantitative correlation, physical conditions and availability of infrastructure facilities, fisheries-based sector, as well as directions for the development of the minapolitan area. Based on the results of the analysis of the availability of facilities in the Minapolitan area, 73.7% (good category), with potential for fishery production, namely Seaweed, Garacillaria, Milkfish, and Windu Shrimp. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the habitat of endemic animals in Maros Regency and provide recommendations from the results of the evaluation of the spatial plan for the preservation of the habitat of the endemic animals of Macaca Maura. One of the endemic animals on the island of Sulawesi is Macaca Maura. Macaca Maura or Monkey Dare is a short-tailed primate that looks like a monkey. Both are protected animals, whose existence is currently threatened. The development that has been carried out so far has changed environmental conditions, both the physical environment and the social environment. Human activities lead to a reduction in forest cover and resource availability, threatening animal populations especially the Macaca Maura. This study uses a mixed method research design using the Maximum Entropy model to determine the suitability of the habitat of the Macaca Maura animal. Providing direction to maintain the ecosystem function of the Macaca Maura endemic animal is very necessary so that its habitat is maintained and protected from all forms of threats that can damage the ecology and natural habitat of Macaca Maura.

Abstract

In the research that the author conducted was about the influence of the development of the New City of Moncongloe on the livelihoods of the people. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the development of the moncongloe new city and people's livelihoods. This study uses two variables, namely the Progress of Moncongloe New Town Development and Community Livelihoods. The analytical approach used in this research is the Quantitative Approach. In this study, the r-test analysis tool (Pearson Correlation) was used to determine the effect of the development of the moncongloe new town on the livelihoods of the people in Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency. Based on the results of the Pearson Correlation Analysis , the conclusion of this study is that the development of the New City of Moncongloe experiences land changes every year, namely the change of green open space into residential land. The development of the New City of Moncongloe has a significant effect, very strong with a negative correlation value on farmers. This means that the increasing progress of Moncongloe New Town Development will have an impact on the decreasing number of people who make a living as farmers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out which locations are vulnerable to flooding in Sabbangparu District, Wajo Regency, then provide direction for flood disaster mitigation in Sabbangparu District, Wajo Regency. The variables used in this study are flood vulnerability variables which consist of flood disaster vulnerability, social vulnerability, physical vulnerability, economic vulnerability to environmental vulnerability and the flood disaster mitigation direction variable consists of structural and non-structural mitigation based on the vulnerability variable. The analytical method used is the flood vulnerability analysis method and the descriptive analysis method. Based on the results of the analysis of the flood disaster location, Sabbangparu District, Wajo Regency, most of the areas have a moderate level of vulnerability which dominates. The mitigation direction is the integration of lessons on disaster risk reduction into subjects so that people can be aware to be prepared from an early age, the construction of river embankments which until now has not been realized optimally, and the reconstruction of community facilities and infrastructure.
