Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of firm size, profitability and debt policy on firm value. The method used is correlational associative with a quantitative approach focused on manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 to 2019 with a sample of 63 companies. The data used is secondary data . The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of firm size on firm value, there is a positive and significant effect of profitability on firm value and there is a negative but not significant effect of debt policy on firm value in manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the IDX in 2013. 2017 – 2019..  Keywords: Firm Size, Profitability, Debt Policy, Firm Value.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of job promotion, compensation and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Transportation Department of Malang City. The data source of this research is primary data obtained from answers to questions when distributing questionnaires to employees of the transportation department. The sample method used is saturated sample. The number of samples in this research was 98 respondents. Data analysis methods using multiple linear regression analysis with classical assumption tests and statistical tests.  The results showed: (1) job promotion has a significant effect on employee performance, (2) compensation has no significant effect on employee performance, (3) work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Job Promotion, Compensation, Work Discipline

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to examine the effect of Economic Value Added, Market Value Added, Refined Economic Value Added and Financial Value Added on Stock Returns. This research is classified as Explanatory Research using quantitative methods. The population in this study are all companies in the food and beverage sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample because the number of samples is limited to 22 companies. The data used in this research is secondary data accessed through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis using SPSS 29.0 analysis. with the aim of examining the effect of Economic Value Added (X1), Market Value Added (X2), Refined Economic Value Added (X3) and Financial Value Added (X4) on Stock Returns (Y). This study has the results of Market Value Added have a negative and not significant to Stock Return, Financial Value Added and Refined Economic Value Added are positive but not significant to Stock Returns.. Meanwhile, Economic Value Added shows a positive and significant value on stock returns. Keywords : Economic Value Added, Market Value Added, Refined Economic Value Added, Financial Value Added, Stock Return.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on equity, and Price earning ratio on stock prices through dividend policies. This research is an Explanatory Research research using quantitative methods. The population in this study is all companies in the Food and Beverages sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period. The sampling technique uses the purposive sampling method. The sample in this study was 18 companies.  The data used in the study is secondary data taken on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis using SPSS 25.0 analysis. with the aim of testing the effect of Debt to equity ratio (X1), Return on Asset (X 2), Price earning ratio (X 3) and Dividend Policy proxied to Dividend Payout Ratio (Z) on share price (Y2).  This study has the results of Return on equity and Dividend Policy having a direct significant effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, the Debt to Equity ratio and Price earning ratio indirectly have no effect on the stock price. The results of this study also show that Return on equity indirectly affects and significantly affects stock prices through dividend policy, this shows that dividend policy is able to mediate the influence of Return on equity on stock prices. Meanwhile, the Debt to Equity ratio and Price earning ratio indirectly have no effect and are significant to the stock price through the dividend policy, this shows that the dividend policy is unable to mediate the Debt to equity ratio and Price earning ratio to the stock price.    Keywords: Stock Price, Debt to equity ratio, Return on equity, Price Earning Ratio, Dividend Policy

Abstract

Abstract This study was conducted to test wether there is a partial effect between the variables Profitability, liquidity and leverage on company value. The researcher used secondary data with saturated samples and purposive sampling methods as determinats of the sample criteria. By obtaining a sample according to the criteria of 22 companies in the 2018-2020 period wiith data procssing using the SPSS aplication. The results show that profitability (Return on Assets) has a significant effect on firm value, liquidity (Current Ratio) does not negative affect firm value, leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio) has no significant effect on firm value. Keywords: Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage, Firm Value

Abstract

Abstract This event study research aims to analyze international events and their impact on the Indonesian capital market. The event studied was the announcement of the interest rate hike made by the Central Bank of the United States (The FED) on May 3-4, 2022. The study analyzed abnormal returns and trading volume activities created during the event. The observation period carried out in this study was five days before and five days after. The population in this study is the companies listed in the index LQ45. The analysis technique used in this study is the Paired Sample t-test. The results showed a significant difference in abnormal returns before and after and abnormal positive returns after the announcement of the fed’s rate hike. And there is a significant difference in trading volume activity before and after, and an increase in trading volume activity after the announcement of the fed’s rate hike. Keywords: Event Studies, Abnormal Returns, Trading Volume Activity, And Interest Rates.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of Social Media platform, Financial literacy and Investment Motivation on students' interest in investing in the capital market. The type of research used is quantitative research, with data collection methods by distributing questionnaires. The sample in this study were 90 respondents and the data processing used the SPSS data processing program. This study has fulfilled the validity and reliability tests. The data analysis used in this study is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, statistical test and the coefficient of determination. The variables used in this study are Social Media platform, Financial literacy and Investment Motivation, which are independent variables, while the dependent variable in this study is Interest in Investing in the Capital Market.  Keywords: Social Media platform , Financial literacy, Investment Motivation.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership style, workload and work stress on the performance of PPNPN employees at the BPN Malang Regency Office. The sample used in this study were 79 employees using the saturated sample technique. The data analysis method used in this study is quantitative data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Testing the data used is the F test and t test. Based on the results of testing the F test the model is qualify goodness of fit, so it is feasible to use for further analysis. Meanwhile, based on the results of the t-test, the leadership style variable has no significant effect on the performance of PPNPN employees at the Malang Regency BPN Office, the variables of workload and work stress have a significant effect on the performance of PPNPN employees at the Malang Regency BPN Office.  Keywords : Leadership Style, Workload, Work Stress and Performance Employee

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of product quality, price, and promotion variables on purchasing decisions for ventela shoe products. This research uses case studies on students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang class of 2019 who were selected by Acidental Sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the Malholtra formula and the results obtained were 100 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis methods used in this study are Instrument Test (validity test and reliability test), Normality Test, Classical Assumption Test (multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test), Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Statistical Test (t test), and Coefficient of Determination Test (Adjusted R2) and Process analysis using SPSS 21. The results of the study stated that the variables of product quality and promotion had an effect on purchasing decisions, while prices had no effect on purchasing decisions. Keywords: Product Quality, Price, Promotion, Purchase Decision

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Non Performing Loans (NPL) and Operational Income Operating Costs (BOPO) on the performance of commercial banks in Indonesia ( case studies on banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021). The population in this study are all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period with a total of 46 banking companies. The sampling technique using purposive sampling method obtained a sample of 31 banking companies. The research data collection method uses the data documentation method listed in the annual report at (IDX). The data analysis technique in this study used panel data regression with the eViews 9 software. The results showed that partially the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Net Interest Margin (NIM) had a positive and significant effect on Return on assets (ROA). Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has a positive and significant effect on Return on assets (ROA). Non Performing Loans (NPL) and Operating Costs Operating Income (BOPO) have a negative and significant effect on Return on assets (ROA) and sensitivity has a positive and significant effect on Return on assets (ROA). Keywords: CAR, LDR, NIM, NPL, BOPO, Return on assets (ROA)
