Abstract

The spread of covid-19 in indonesia is on the rise. the provision of a covid-19 vaccine from the government is still one of the efforts to prevent and control the transmission of the covid-19 disease. the government continues to intensify the implementation of the covid-19 vaccine, especially the third dose of covid-19 vaccine (booster) for eligible indonesians. the purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding of the third dose of covid-19 vaccination (booster) with the lecture method of distributing flyer, leaflet containing knowledge about the third dose of vaccination (booster). in this activity, a total of those who have undergone the third dose of covid-19 vaccination (booster) starting from the leadership and employees of pt. lingga cargo as many as 7 employees (25%) of the 28 employees. the next hope is to continue to strive to accelerate the third dose of covid-19 vaccination (booster) program by providing education related to vaccination and collaborating with related parties both across programs and across sectors and also reminding the public to continue to follow the health protocol even though they get the third dose of vaccine. vaccination is one of the important components in the pandemic handling strategy to reduce the risk of severe illness and death from covid-19.

Abstract

Penerapan komunikasi efektif sangat penting dalam pelayanan keperawatan terutama dalam pelaksanaan handover. Pada pertukaran shift dalam keperawatan dilakukan handover untuk menyampaikan informasi terkait kondisi pasien. Kegiatan timbang terima atau handover bersifat menyeluruh  yang dilakukan oleh tim kesehatan sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya dibutuhkan komunikasi yang efektif baik oleh perawat yang berjaga sebelum timbang terima (handover) kepada perawat yang berjaga setelah timbang terima (handover) sehingga semua informasi tentang pasien dapat dilaksanakan oleh perawat untuk mendukung kualitas pelayanan yang lebih baik.  Komunikasi efektif yang dimaksud ialah komunikasi efektif yang ontime, lengkap, akurat, mudah dipahami oleh penerima informasi untuk mencegah kejadian tidak diharapkan dan kejadian nyaris cidera serta kesalahan – kesalahan informasi untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien. Model komunikasi yang dilaksanakan adalah model komunikasi efektif SBAR. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan perawat sebelum (pre test) yaitu 70 % menjadi 87% setelah (post test ) artinya ada perbedaan pengetahuan perawat setelah dilakukan sosialiasi penerapan komunikasi efektif SBAR dalam pelaksanaan handover. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan perawat tersebut diharapkan penerapan pelaksananan komunikasi efektif SBAR sesuai dengan standar demi meningkatkankan keselamatan pasien dalam handover.

Abstract

Incomplete documentation of health education as well as lack of information about the patient's condition have a negative impact on the key performance indicator (KPI) score, which is an assessment of nurse performance in the hospital. Those situations can also cause anxiety and worry in patients. This study aims to determine the relationship between nurses' knowledge and attitude with the implementation of health education documentation at Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital of Riau Province. This study used a correlation design with a cross-sectional approach, involving 57 samples selected using the Consecutive Sampling technique. The instruments of this study were questionnaires and observation sheets. The data obtained were then analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between nurses' attitudes and the implementation of health education documentation with a p-value of 0.000. On the other hand, the results showed that there was no relationship between nurses' knowledge and the implementation of health education documentation, with a p-value of 0.064. It can be concluded that nurses' attitudes are one of many factors, namely motivation, skills, and psychology, that influence the implementation of health education documentation in surgical inpatient installations. Nurses are expected to be knowledgeable about health education documentation and show a proper attitude while implementing it..Keywords: Knowledge, Attitudes And Educational Documentation.
