Abstract

Bicycle is one of the most popular transportation and in Indonesia there are still many people used it. Static bike or stationary bicycle is one of many kind of bicycle and people used it in indoor room. Static bike has an electronic panel that could help people who used it to know how far the distance, what abaout their speed and how many calories they have burned. Many people said that static bike is more fun and more interesting than outdoor bicycle especially from mountain bike because the static bike has the electronic panel. The electronic panel from static bike will be used on mountain bike so it can be more interresting as static bike. Microcontroller will used as minicomputer to processing all data from magnetic sensor that show the rotation of bike’s tires and then the microcontroller will show the result on seven segment display about the distances, the speed, and the calories burned.

Abstract

Abstrak-Emosi Manusia mempunyai hubungan dengan kesehatan manusia. Emosi Negatif dipercaya bisa menjadi pemicu beberapa penyakit kronis. Emosi SEDIH adalah salah satu dari emosi diskrit yang bersifat negative. Stimuli Audiovisual digunakan untuk menstimulir emosi SEDIH. Beberapa video yang didownload dari internet dievaluasi dan divalidasi untuk mengetahui hasil stimuli dari video tersebut. Subyek penelitian akan menonton video-video tersebut dan menilainya melalui Post Film Questionnaire. Dari 3 video yang terpilih untuk divalidasi, ketiganya berhasil membangkitkan emosi SEDIH dari subyek yang menonton. Walaupun diikuti oleh emosi tambahan pada setiap video. Masing-masing video, sebanyak 87% subyek penelitian menyatakan bahwa video tersebut membangkitkan emosi SEDIH pada diri mereka.

Abstract

Today there are so many methods of doing presentations. Some of them using digital media as framework. As we know there are too many tools we can used in digital form. One of them is PowerPoint developed by Microsoft. But PowerPoint is a sequencing (Linear) Media. In this paper we tried to explore Non-Linear Media like prezi. Prezi is one of Non-Linear tools to create a presentation based on Cloud Computing. Engineering Education has similarity with other field. Differences between engineering subject with other is structured Course Material. So, we tried to gather some information whether prezi could do the same performance on Engineering Field. Our paper show that there no significant difference between Linear and Non-LinearMedia according to prevoius research. So we can say that we can use prezi as media in Engineering Education.

Abstract

Kopi Toraja merupakan salah satu tanaman perkebunan yang mengalami perubahan warna menuju proses pematangannya. Perubahan warna pada buah Kopi Toraja dapat diamati secara lansung oleh mata. Pada umumnya warna buah Kopi Toraja muda berwarna hijau dan perlahan menjadi merah. Pakar tanaman telah mengidentifikasikan warna buah Kopi Toraja yang matang secara tampilan visual. Digital Image Processing (DIP) menjadi solusi mendapatkan nilai warna pada buah Kopi Toraja yang matang. Nilai didapat dari proses mendeteksi nilai RGB (Red, Green and Blue) pada warna buah Kopi Toraja. Dimulai dari mendeteksi nilai warna setelah nilai diolah menjadi keputusan matang atau tidaknya buah Kopi Toraja yang dilihat. Faktor cahaya dan tingkat sensitivitas kamera pada webcam berpengaruh dalam pengambilan data pada Kopi Toraja.Tekstur warna pada buah Kopi Toraja dapat diidentifikasi cirinya dengan menggunakan metode deteksi warna (color detection). Informasi yang terdapat pada sebuah citra Kopi Toraja berupa nilai - nilai ciri statistik. Berdasarkan nilai ekstraksi fitur, citra yang diakuisisi dari kamera dapat diklasifikasi dengan RGB. Pada riset ini akan menggunakan raspberry pi sebagai platform komputer dengan bantuan OpenCV dan Python sebagai DIP yang akan menentukan atau mendeteksi warna buah Kopi Toraja. Prototipe alat yang akan dibuat hanya berfokus untuk mendeteksi fitur warna dari buah Kopi Toraja.

Abstract

Education without paper is a popular issue today. The world was hit by the global warming due to the amount of deforestation everywhere. We all know that wood is the raw material of paper. With advances in information technology today allows a learning without paper. Some technologies LMS (Learning Management System) currently allows us to conduct distance learning. Attendance in the class will not be needed anymore. Moodle is an LMS that helps teachers and students to study without having to meet physically. Google Classroom is a product developed by Google to help education through the web. In this paper we will explains the effects and benefits of google classroom. it has several advantages such as shortening the distance and time for teachers and students. It has a positive effect on the attitude and spirit of students

Abstract

Listrik merupakan salah satu kebutuhan utama manusia pada saat ini. Dalam proses penyaluran energi listrik dari feeder menuju trafo distribusi sering terjadi penurunan kualitas tegangan yang menyebabkan terjadinya jatuh tegangan dan rugi daya. Ukuran kawat distribusi, panjang saluran distribusi dan pembebanan menjadi hal yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya jatuh tegangan dan rugi daya. Berdasarkan SPLN 72 : 1978 jatuh tegangan saluran distribusi Jaringan Tegangan Menengah (JTM) sebesar ± 5% untuk jatuh tegangan dan -10% untuk rugi daya. Dari hasil simulasi yang dilakukan menggunakan software Etap jatuh tegangan dan rugi daya tertinggi pada saluran distribusi utama yaitu dari keluaran dari feeder (T2) menuju daerah Sa’dan dan terlihat pada malam hari semua bus saluran distribusi berwarna ungu, mengingat kebutuhan beban yang meningkat.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to use the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to analyze the frequency of notes produced by the traditional Te'dek flute of the Toraja people in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The purpose of the study was to contribute to the preservation of the Toraja's cultural history by providing an evaluation of the Te'dek flute's tonal characteristics. The research process included recording the sound of the flute, applying the FFT to the recorded data to extract frequency values, and analyzing these values to determine the frequency of each note within an octave. What sets the Te'dek flute apart is its unique tuning process, where the maker skillfully adjusts the fingerholes' diameter using hand tools and relies on intuition to determine the sound without any external measurement. The results of the study showed that the FFT can be used to accurately determine the frequency of the Te'dek flute and that the strength of airflow in the flute's cavity plays a significant role in determining the frequency of the tone.

Abstract

Steel is an alloy metal with iron as the basic element and carbon as the main alloying element. The carbon content in steel ranges from 0.2% to 2.1% by weight according to the grade. The function of carbon in steel is as a hardening element. This research aims to determine the effect of austenite temperature with a holding time of 2 hours on the hardness and toughness of ST 42 steel. The material for this research is ST 42 steel. This research was carried out experimentally using the Vickers method and impact method, with temperature variations of 950℃, 960℃, 970℃, 980℃. From the results of the hardness research, it can be concluded that the higher the austenite temperature variation with a holding time of 2 hours, the higher the hardness value in ST 42 steel, where the highest value at a temperature of 980℃ is 204.8 kg/mm2, and the lowest is in a normal specimen with a value of 186.6 kg/mm2, and from the toughness research results it can be concluded that the higher the austenite temperature variation with a holding time of 2 hours, the lower the toughness value of ST 42 steel, where the highest value at an austenite temperature of 960°C is 2,023 Joules/mm2 and the lowest in normal specimens it is 0.866 Joules/mm2.

Abstract

The increase in cloud cover is an important indicator in predicting upcoming weather. However, manual observations of cloud cover are still limited and time-consuming. Therefore, this research aims to develop a cloud cover classification model based on measurement data in Lolai using the Naive Bayes machine learning method. In this study, data on cloud cover, temperature, and humidity measurements were collected directly in Lolai for 30 days and using online BMKG data. Then, the data was processed and divided into training and testing datasets. The Naive Bayes model was applied to the training data and its accuracy was tested on the testing data. The research results show that the cloud cover classification model based on Naive Bayes has varying accuracy levels depending on the data source. For direct measurement data, the model achieved an accuracy rate of 63%, while for online BMKG data, the model achieved an accuracy rate of 80%. In testing on the testing data, the model successfully classified cloud cover based on temperature and humidity data. This research contributes to identifying the relationship between temperature, humidity, and cloud conditions and evaluates the performance of the Naive Bayes model in determining the influence of air temperature and humidity on cloud conditions. It is expected that this research can serve as a basis for the development of weather prediction systems in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the accuracy of current measurements in solar power systems using the ACS712 sensor and linear regression modeling. While the ACS712 sensor is commonly used for current measurement in solar systems, it often faces accuracy issues. In this research, we measured current using the ACS712 sensor alongside a validated reference device and applied a linear regression model to correct any inaccuracies. The results show that our linear regression model significantly boosts the accuracy of ACS712 sensor current measurements. We also conducted performance tests with the model on the Arduino Uno platform, which revealed increased measurement accuracy in various testing scenarios. Before implementing the model, the average difference between ACS712 sensor measurements and reference device readings was 0.364. After implementing the model, this difference dropped substantially to just 0.044.
