Abstract

The corona virus disease pandemic has caused public health emergencies around the world. The risk, severity and mortality of this disease have been associated with chronic non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus. This community service activity was carried out in September 2020. The activities were taken place in the patient's house directly (door to door). The activities were done by providing health education to people with diabetes both with and without wound complications. The respondent was 10 people. The media used booklet. Since the activity was done during the Covid-19 pandemic, both the implementing activities and the targets complied the health protocols to prevent Covid-19 transmission. The data obtained showed that the knowledge of the respondents about Covid-19 and the New Normal Era before being given health education using the booklet method was only 1 respondent had good knowledge (10%). After being given health education using the booklet method, the respondent's knowledge data about Covid-19 and the New Normal Era increased into 6 respondents (60%) had good knowledge. Booklet is one of model or media to convey health messages in the form of a book, either in writing or in pictures. Booklet has many advantages such as easy to make, can be simply made at a relatively low cost, and clients can study independently

Abstract

Corruption is a despicable act and a form of social disobedience of society. Corruption always has a bad impact on the life of the nation and state. Anti-corruption education from an early age is one of the powerful pillars in combating the dangers of corruption from an early age. The purpose of this community service program was to initiate anti-corruption values in the community from an early age. This community service activity was carried out by Lecturers of the Nursing and Midwifery Department in cooperation with the students of 2nd Semester of Nursing and Midwifery Department of STIKes Patria Husada Blitar. The activity were held on July 2022. The method used in this activity was a lecture session and question and answer about corrupting behavior in the school environment with leaflet media. The activities was carried out in accordance with the planning of the subject lesson. The activity was carried out on freshman at TKN Bendogerit 1 Blitar City, SDN 02 Plosokerep Kota Blitar, SMPN 1 Sanan Kulon, Blitar Regency and the Ibn Mas'ud Sum Islamic Boarding School Foundation Garum, Blitar Regency with the total number of students was 265 students. The initiation of anti-corruption values must be carried out from an early age, starting from basic education to higher education. planting anti-corruption values in schools can strengthen the character of students, namely the initiation of the value of honesty, concern for others, responsibility, respect for others, discipline, simplicity, and fighting power or persistence in learning.

Abstract

High risk in pregnancy is a condition that can cause pregnant women and babies to become abnormal before birth. The danger signs of pregnancy must be understood and can be detected in the mother's pregnancy so that they can be handled properly because the danger signs in pregnancy can cause complications in pregnancy. This community service was carried out in Karanggayam Village, Srengat District, Blitar Regency. The implementation of the community service was on August 30,2022. The activities included: (1). Giving a pre-test in the form of a questionnaire to pregnant women, (2). Antenatal care activities (ANC), (3). Outreach activities about high-risk pregnancy, (4). Post-test in the form of a questionnaire. The counselling media used LCD media, laptops, videos and leaflets. The instrument used a questionnaire about high-risk pregnancy. Based on the results of the evaluation, it was found that 30% of pregnant women have poor knowledge, and only 20% had good knowledge. After being given an intervention in the form of counseling about high-risk in pregnant women, it was found that 70% had knowledge in the good category, and 30% in the sufficient category. It is expected to provide counseling to pregnant women about high-risk of pregnancies by using lecturing media, videos and leaflets.

Abstract

Mental health is important in individual life. Individuals should not only physically healthy, but also psychologically. Early detection of family mental health is one of the main pillars in promotive and preventive efforts that can be carried out by mental health cadre. Through mental health cadre training activities regarding the early detection of family psychological, mental health cadres have the knowledge and skills to understand the mental health conditions of a family. This community service activity regarding early detection of family mental health were carried out by lecturers of the Nursing Education Study Program and Students of Professional Practice of Nurses Transfer Levels during the academic year of 2022/2023. The method used in this activity was the delivery of materials, question and answer session, and continued by practice on how to detect early mental health in the families. These activities were conducted on Bacem Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency. The number of mental health cadre involved in this activity was 15 people. A healthy mental environment can be started by empowering families through early detection of cases of mental disorders by mental health cadre. The result revealed that through training activities on family mental health detection, mental health cadre have the knowledge and skills to carry out mental health detection in families.
