Abstract

Serang City is belong in 90 inflation cities in Indonesia and first ranking in the city with the highest inflation rate in Banten Province in 2021. Consumer Price Index (CPI)is an index used to measure the rate of inflation/deflation. The one of CPI category is Food. This research aims to predict the value of the CPI at COICOP of Food in Serang City after pandemic of Covid-19. The data used is secondary CPI data for the Food sub-group in Serang City for the period January 2020 to June 2022 obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). In this research, to predict the CPI of the Food Sub-group in Serang City using the Holt-Winter method. Results of the research showed that the CPI data pattern of the Food Sub-group in Serang City had a Multiplicative Holt-Winter pattern with seasonal length is 12. The accuracy of the forecasting value was carried out by calculating the average MAPE and MSE errors. The optimal parameter weight of Holt-Winter Multiplicative method obtained alpha is 0.5, gamma is 0.3 and delta is 0.1. Forecasting using Holt-Winter Multiplicative method obtained a significant increase in the CPI value from July to December 2022 with the MAPE accuracy value is 0.72261 and the MSE is 1.33681

Abstract

Local food security must be continuously improved to compete in the global market. In addition to boosting income, local food products must ensure their halal certification. Halal certification institutions play a crucial role in guaranteeing product halalness. However, many micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) need to be made aware of the certification process, despite legal requirements mandating that all products in Indonesia be halal certified, including MSME products. This study explores the implementation of halal certification to support local food security in the global market. Data were gathered through literature reviews, direct observations, and interviews with MSMEs in Cilegon City, Banten, Indonesia. The study included workshops and ongoing assistance through the Untirta Halal Center to guide MSMEs in completing the halal certification process. The findings indicate that halal certification strengthens local food security and enhances the competitiveness of local products in the global market. Ketahanan pangan lokal perlu terus ditingkatkan agar mampu bersaing di pasar global. Selain sebagai upaya meningkatkan pendapatan, produk pangan lokal juga harus memastikan kehalalannya melalui sertifikasi yang sesuai. Lembaga sertifikasi halal berperan penting dalam memberikan jaminan kehalalan produk. Namun, masih banyak pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) yang belum sepenuhnya memahami proses sertifikasi, meskipun peraturan mewajibkan semua produk di Indonesia, termasuk produk UMKM, memiliki sertifikat halal. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan sertifikasi halal sebagai langkah strategis untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan lokal dalam menghadapi persaingan pasar global. Data dikumpulkan melalui kajian pustaka, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara dengan pelaku UMKM di Kota Cilegon, Banten. Penelitian ini mencakup pelaksanaan lokakarya serta pendampingan intensif melalui Halal Center Untirta, yang membantu UMKM menyelesaikan proses sertifikasi halal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi halal tidak hanya memperkuat ketahanan pangan lokal, tetapi juga meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal di pasar global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media komik pada peserta didik kelas VII-B di SMP Negeri 7 Surabaya. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII-B SMP Negeri 7 Surabaya dengan jumlah 30 peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes tulis, lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik, lembar observasi kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Keaktifan peserta didik tercapai karena tujuh dari delapan aktivitas peserta didik dalam rentang waktu ideal; (2) Keberhasilan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran tercapai dengan baik; (3) Ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan 80% dari seluruh peserta didik telah mencapai KKM (ketuntasan secara individu); dan (4) Respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran menunjukkan respon positif. Jadi, pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media komik efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika pada peserta didik kelas VII-B di SMP Negeri 7 Surabaya.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is one of the manufacturing companies that has a background in foam mattress production. Quality raw materials are a company asset that plays an important role in supporting production activities. PT. XYZ in the process of selecting good fabric materials is still based on subjective analysis of Quality Control (QC) officers in the field, sometimes the data owned as a reference for standardization can still change according to the demands of field conditions. Furthermore, a study was conducted on determining the best fabric material for foam mattress production at PT. XYZ using the Weighted Product Method. This study was conducted for 3 months with the stages of system creation including system design, system testing, system improvement, and training. The results of the study showed that the system created using the web-based PHP programming language makes it easier for users to access, save time, and minimize human error in data processing. Finally, from the results of the questionnaire data processing, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained with an average difference of -3,800 which means that the decision to select fabric at PT. XYZ is better or more optimal than before using the system.

Abstract

In general, coal fossil fuel reserves are the main load in the industry, especially in the use of boiler engines. Coal comprises carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, and mineral compounds. A boiler engine is a machine that produces high-pressure water vapor by heating water through fuels such as coal. The water vapor can then be used for various purposes, such as heating oil in the oil manufacturing industry, especially PT. Meadow Rays. Steam is an effective and inexpensive medium for transferring heat to a process. Coal plays an important role in the operation of boiler engines because coal is one of the fuels that is often used in the heating process. The quality of the coal can affect the quality of the steam produced by the boiler engine. Suitable coal shape for boilers at PT. Meadow rays are generally solid or solid, such as chunks, fractional coal, or bituminous coal that has a large coal size that has a mesh size between 3.2 mm to 6.3 mm or about 1/8 to 1/4 inch. This is because the solid, dense form of coal has a higher density and lower porosity, so it can retain heat better and provide a smaller surface for the combustion process. Coal users must be provided to PT. Sinar Meadow must have a minimum calorie of 6300 kcal/kg, for the efficiency and safety of the boiler at PT. Meadow Rays. Therefore, paying attention to the coal quality used in boiler engines is important to produce high-quality and efficient steam.

Abstract

Perubahan iklim dan aktivitas manusia telah menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan lingkungan, termasuk genangan air, banjir, dan pengelolaan sampah organik yang belum optimal. Desa Talok, Kecamatan Kresek, Kabupaten Tangerang, mengalami permasalahan genangan air akibat rendahnya daya serap tanah serta kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengelola limbah organik. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan program pendampingan penerapan Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB) oleh tim Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kelompok 08 Universitas Muhammadiyah Banten sebagai solusi berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan infiltrasi air dan mengolah sampah organik menjadi kompos. Metode pelaksanaan program meliputi tahapan persiapan, pembuatan LRB, edukasi dan sosialisasi, penerapan LRB, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Program ini melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif, mulai dari pembuatan hingga penerapan langsung. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa lubang resapan biopori dapat meningkatkan daya serap tanah, mengurangi genangan air, serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan limbah organik. Monitoring yang dilakukan juga menunjukkan bahwa LRB berfungsi dengan baik dalam membantu resapan air dan proses dekomposisi organik. Keberhasilan program ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan teknologi sederhana seperti LRB dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam mitigasi lingkungan, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Untuk keberlanjutan program, diperlukan dukungan dari pemerintah desa dan masyarakat dalam pemeliharaan serta pengembangan LRB agar manfaatnya dapat terus dirasakan dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

This article implements the thinning process algorithm, which has been generalized for estimators of compound periodic Poisson processes. The use of generalizations in the algorithm has been prepared with a linear trend in the periodic elements. This research aims to discuss estimators of the variance function. The method used in this research is the simulation method. Simulation results using a generalized algorithm thinning process show that in the case of a limited observation time interval, some estimators are good enough to approach the actual value. As the value of n increases, the simulated value of the estimator moves towards the predicted value. This is following the lemmas, theorems, and consequences that have been discussed. It was also found that several estimators were quite slow. This results in the movement of the bias, variance, and MSE values of the estimators being slow, even though they are moving towards 0. So that further modifications can be made to the model being studied.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika pada materi luas permukaan bangun ruang sisi datar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Muhammadiyah 15 Surabaya sebanyak 25 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen dan perangkat pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini adalah RPP, LKS, soal tes kreativitas, soal ketuntasan hasil belajar, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan ke-1 dan ke-2 selama mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS pada materi luas permukaan bangun ruang sisi datar memenuhi tujuh dari delapan indikator waktu ideal; (2) Kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran pada pertemuan ke-1 rata-rata total sebesar 3,63 dengan kategori sangat baik dan pertemuan ke-2 rata-rata total sebesar 3,53 dengan kategori sangat baik; (3) Kreativitas siswa tercapai dengan kategori kreatif; (4) Ketuntasan hasil belajar tercapai dengan 88% dari seluruh siswa telah mencapai KKM; (5) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menunjukkan respon yang sangat positif. Jadi, penerapan model pembelajaran CPS dalam pembelajaran matematika efektif terhadap hasil belajar karena memenuhi lima indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini.
