Abstract

Development of religious culture in schools is a first step in instilling the values of religious education in everyday life. Habituation religious values in schools is expected to in crease and strength the value of unity,religious knowledge and religious cult of students. To implement the development of the religious culture in school sand strategies necessary steps that must be passed either at the level of values, practices and religious symbols. Thus the behavior and mentality needed coaching through civilize in religious being in the school community, families, and communities where the students live and interact.

Abstract

This study is about "The Behavior and Motivation of Angkringan Children in Gambling (Case Study in Laweyan Village)." The research aims to identify and analyze the behavior and motivation of children working at angkringan (street food stalls) in relation to their involvement in gambling activities in Laweyan Village. The study employs a case study approach to gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of the various social and psychological factors influencing children's engagement in gambling. Data collection was carried out through detailed participant observation, in-depth interviews with various relevant parties, and analysis of pertinent documents.The findings reveal that economic factors are the primary drivers for children to engage in gambling, with urgent financial needs compelling them to seek alternative income sources. The social environment also plays a significant role, particularly in terms of peer influence and community norms that do not strongly condemn gambling activities. The lack of supervision and attention from parents further reinforces children's involvement in these activities.The study concludes that holistic and coordinated interventions from the government, educational institutions, and social organizations are crucial in addressing this issue.

Abstract

Smartphones represent a prominent form of information and communication technology, widely adopted due to their convenience, sophistication, and connectivity to the internet. Children, as users of smartphones, face potential negative consequences stemming from their use of these devices. It is essential for parents, who are the closest individuals to their children, to possess adequate knowledge regarding the management and supervision of smartphone usage to mitigate adverse effects. Google Family Link is an application that can help parents monitor and control their children's smartphone usage. Training and guidance on this application can be provided to support parents in supervision and control. Through this training, it is hoped that parents can understand and use the Google Family Link application well. These guidance and training activities are expected to provide significant benefits for mothers.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan moral anak. Di Indonesia, pendidikan agama Islam seringkali diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum pendidikan formal maupun non-formal, seperti Madrasah Diniyah. Madrasah Diniyah memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam pengajaran nilai-nilai Islam sejak usia dini. Desa Bantaran, Kabupaten Probolinggo, merupakan daerah yang kaya akan nilai-nilai tradisional, namun tantangan modernisasi membawa dampak terhadap cara pandang orang tua terhadap pendidikan agama. Persepsi orang tua terhadap pendidikan agama di Madrasah Diniyah sangat penting untuk diteliti, karena orang tua merupakan pihak utama yang berpengaruh dalam keputusan pendidikan anak. Dengan memahami persepsi ini, kita bisa mendapatkan gambaran tentang urgensi pendidikan agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di masyarakat. penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai persepsi orang tua terhadap pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Diniyah dan kontribusinya terhadap perkembangan anak usia dasar. Penelitian ini akan difokuskan pada persepsi orang tua di Desa Bantaran, Kabupaten Probolinggo, mengenai pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Diniyah untuk anak usia dasar. Data akan diambil melalui wawancara dan kuesioner yang melibatkan orang tua yang memiliki anak berusia 6 hingga 12 tahun yang bersekolah di Madrasah Diniyah. Analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi orang tua terhadap pendidikan agama di Madrasah Diniyah dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi dari latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman pribadi, dan kondisi ekonomi. Pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pendidikan agama, nilai pengalaman masa lalu, dan tantangan finansial saling berinteraksi untuk membentuk pandangan orang tua. Dengan demikian, penting untuk mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor ini dalam merancang program dan kebijakan yang dapat mendukung pendidikan agama yang lebih baik di Madrasah Diniyah

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya sampah di Desa Triwung Kidul kecamatan Kademangan Besar akan menjadi masalah serius apabila tidak dibarengi dengan pemanfaatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat unduk menjaga lingkungan. Khususnya dalam mengelola limbah plastik menjadi produk kreatif. Kegiatan ini diharapkan meningkatkan produktivitas dan peran aktif masyarakat Desa Triwung Kidul dalam menghasilkan pendapatan keluarga serta memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan komunitas. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelatihan kerajinan dari sampah plastik dan pembentukan bank sampah. Hasilnya menunjukkan dampak positif pada pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat serta pemahaman tentang pengolahan sampah dengan nilai ekonomi. Kegiatan ini juga mengembangkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan mahasiswa KKN dalam berinteraksi dengan masyarakat dan mencari solusi terkait sampah. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, masyarakat desa Triwung Kidul memperoleh ilmu dan informasi mengenai hakikat pemberdayaan dari segi keterampilan, masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan limbah plastik menjadi produk kreatif yang dapat dijual, dan masyarakat memahami pemanfaatan limbah yang baik dan benar untuk menjaga lingkungan.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of Islamic spiritual counseling in strengthening emotional resilience among students from broken home backgrounds in an Islamic secondary school. Using a qualitative descriptive design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving students, counselors, and Islamic education teachers, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that Islamic spiritual counseling improves emotional regulation, adaptive coping, interpersonal adjustment, and psychological stability through spiritual reflection, value-based guidance, and empathetic counseling. Students showed increased self-awareness, better emotional control, stronger meaning-making, and higher social engagement, reflecting sustained resilience development. This study offers novelty by extending resilience theory into culturally grounded Islamic counseling practices in formal school settings and positioning spirituality as an internal regulatory and developmental resource. The results also demonstrate that institutional integration of spiritual counseling supports continuous emotional growth and positive behavioral change among adolescents experiencing family disruption. Practically, the findings provide evidence-based guidance for schools and counselors to implement holistic and culturally responsive counseling models that align psychological support with students’ spiritual identities to enhance effectiveness and sustainability.

Abstract

The paradigm shift in Islamic education in the modern era demands a balance between the mastery of knowledge and the formation of personality rooted in spiritual values. Qur’anic learning is regarded as having a strategic role in developing students’ emotional intelligence through activities such as reading, memorizing, and understanding the meanings of the verses. This study aims to analyze the relationship between students’ activeness in Qur’anic learning activities and their emotional intelligence at SMA Integral Hidayatullah Tanjung Selor. Using a quantitative approach with a population method involving 63 students, data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The results reveal a significant positive relationship between activeness in Qur’anic learning and emotional intelligence (r = 0.82; p < 0.01). This indicates that the more actively students participate in Qur’anic activities, the better their ability to manage emotions and demonstrate empathy toward others. These findings underscore the importance of participatory and reflective Qur’anic learning strategies as a means of strengthening emotional and spiritual intelligence in contemporary Islamic education.
