Abstract

This study aims to analyze perceptions, barriers and efforts to overcome the problems of left-handed-friendly education in Indonesia. The study focuses on the policy on left-handed-friendly education in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical study method. The informants of this study were teachers from 4 different provinces. Collecting data using in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. Furthermore, data analysis used data reduction techniques, data presentation, and verification to draw a conclusion. The results of this study concluded that there was no specific policy in education that regulates left-handed friendly education. This can be seen from (1) there is no consideration of left-handed friendly facilities at the primary, secondary, and higher education levels, (2) educational institution facilities are not friendly to left-handed students, and (3) there is no anticipation of the obstacles that arise. arise related to facilities that are not left-handed friendly. So far, efforts to implement left-handed-friendly education are still providing relatively longer time than other students. Through this research an implication can be obtained that education in Indonesia has not prepared special learning facilities (infrastructure) for left-handed children, because there is no official policy from the government or internal education providers.

Abstract

Manajemen waktu adalah waktu keterampilan dalam mengatur dan mengelola waktu dengan baik. Serta menjadikan waktunya lebih produktif dengan melakukan hal-hal yang dapat memberikan manfaat dirinya. Manajemen waktu memiliki peranan besar dalam keberhasilan belajar siswa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah 1. Siswa tidak bisa mengatur waktu senggang dengan mengerjakan UKBM (Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri). 2. Kurangnya kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa terhadap manajemen waktu. 3. Siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengatur waktu dengan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan subyek yang disebut informan yaitu guru BK, dan siswa kelas XI MIPA 6 MAN 3 Medan. Sumber data primer adalah guru BK, dan siswa. Sumber data sekunder adalah buku-buku atau hasil penelitian terdahulu yang dapat memberikan informasi terkait dengan judul penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa guru BK sangat berperan penting dalam membimbing dan memberi arahan untuk siswa memanajemen waktu. Tidak hanya guru BK, guru kelas dan orang tua juga dituntut untuk berperan aktif mengawasi dan membimbing siswa untuk memanajemen waktu dengan optimal dan produktif.

Abstract

This research examines the concept of educational democracy from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy to see how Islamic values ​​and democracy are correlated in education. The aim of this research is to increase our understanding of how democracy can be implemented in an education system that follows Islamic principles. This research is a literature study with the method used, namely Systematic Review (SR) or generally called Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Research shows that combining democracy and Islam in education creates a balanced foundation of freedom, justice and moral obligation. It is hoped that this research can help develop educational policies that are more contextual, relevant and in accordance with Islamic values ​​in the process of building a democratic education system rooted in Islamic values.
