Abstract

This study aims to analyze the issues surrounding the use of figurative language, specifically comparison, contrast, association, and emphasis, in the discussions of netizens on social media related to the 2024 Presidential Election. Using a stylistic approach, this research seeks to analyze how netizens use figurative language to express political views, criticism, and support for presidential candidates. Data were collected from posts and comments related to the presidential election topic on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. A qualitative descriptive analysis method was employed to identify and categorize the use of these language styles. The results show that comparison and emphasis are frequently used by netizens to reinforce opinions and build a positive image of the supported presidential candidates. On the other hand, contrast is more often found in comments containing criticism and political debates. In conclusion, figurative language plays a significant role in the dynamics of social interaction and political communication among netizens on social media, reflecting high public engagement in national political issues. This research contributes to the study of political language and social interaction in the digital era.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in the field o Student learning outcomes in the field of mathematics subject matter: the idea of carrying out combined or mixed calculations using the discussion method for grade 3 students at SDN 036 Inpres Bonde. The research activity method carried out was using Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in several cycles, where each cycle consisted of two meetings. The results of the research prove that the discussion method can improve student learning outcomes in mixed arithmetic operations material in class 3 of SDN 036 Inpres Bonde. which was analyzed using quantitative descriptive. In the pre-cycle activities of 28 students, there were only 8 students who completed the KKM with a class success percentage of 28.57%. The results of learning improvements in cycle 1 increased by 17.86% where there were 13 students who completed the KKM with a class success percentage of 46.43%. After cycle 2 there was a significant increase in learning outcomes of 42.86% compared to cycle 1, where 25 students completed the KKM with a class success percentage of 89.29 01. Teacher activity increased. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the results of learning mathematics regarding mixed arithmetic operations using the discussion method for class 3 students at SDN 036 Inpres Bondehave increased and are acceptable.athematics subject matter: the idea of carrying out

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era drives higher education institutions to transform through the utilization of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep learning approaches, in order to produce graduates who are both adaptive and globally competitive. This study aims to design and evaluate the effectiveness of an innovative learning model employing AI-based deep learning to enhance the extending knowledge of undergraduate students in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program at Universitas Sulawesi Barat. The primary focus is to examine how AI integration can strengthen students’ critical analysis, creativity, and digital collaboration skills. A mixed-methods approach with a convergent design was applied, where quantitative data were collected through surveys of more than half of the 2024 cohort (±100 students) and 15 lecturers, while qualitative data were obtained from semi-structured interviews and classroom observations. Survey findings reveal that AI integration in the learning process and the ease of technology access fall into the high category (means of 4.18 and 4.05, respectively), whereas AI support for personalized learning is rated moderate–high (mean 3.92). The implementation of AI significantly improved critical analysis (mean 4.22) and digital collaboration (mean 4.11), although student creativity remained moderate (mean 3.88) due to a tendency to rely on AI systems. Qualitative results corroborate the quantitative data, indicating increased active participation and student confidence, while also highlighting the need for pedagogical strategies to stimulate original ideas. Overall, the study concludes that an innovative learning design grounded in AI-based deep learning effectively broadens extending knowledge and fosters twenty-first-century competencies, offering implications for curriculum development, faculty training, and digital infrastructure. Future research is recommended to integrate project-based or inquiry-driven approaches to further optimize student creativity.

Abstract

.  The issue of language skills in Indonesian language learning in schools, particularly at the elementary level, remains prevalent. In reading skills, many students still struggle with pronouncing words fluently. Regarding writing skills, many students struggle to express their thoughts or ideas in writing due to a lack of inspiration. Furthermore, in listening skills, one prominent problem is that students often lack focus during lessons, resulting in their inability to answer questions posed to them. As for speaking skills, students usually face difficulties in selecting appropriate words, structuring sentences grammatically, and exhibiting confidence. Given the importance of language skills in daily life, effective strategies are needed to address these challenges faced by students. The study employed the ADDIE development model, which encompasses five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection was carried out through expert validation sheets to assess media feasibility, as well as teacher and student questionnaires administered during the limited trial phase of the media. Validation by subject matter experts yielded an average score of 94%, classified as “highly feasible,” while validation by media experts resulted in an average score of 95%, also categorized as “highly feasible.” Furthermore, the media received highly positive responses, with average scores of 95% from teachers and 96% from students. These findings suggest that digital flashcards are both well-received and effective, positioning them as a relevant and supportive instructional medium in the context of contemporary digital education.
