Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penghasilan nelayan pajeko terhadap pendidikan anak di desa kema III Kecamatan Kema Kabupaten Minahasa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksplanasi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis penelitian pengaruh penghasilan nelayan pajeko terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Kema III Kecamatan Kema Kabupaten Minahasa Utara diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel penghasilan nelayan pajeko (X) berpengaruh terhadap variabel pendidikan anak di Desa Kema III Kecamatan Kema Kabupaten Minahasa Utara (Y) sedangkan berdasarkan nilai t diketahui nilai t hitung sebesar 43.039 > t tabel 2,048 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel penghasilan nelayan pajeko (X) berpengaruh terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Kema III Kecamatan Kema Kabupaten Minahasa Utara (Y). Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu terdapat pengaruh penghasilan nelayan pajeko terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Kema III Kecamatan Kema Kabupaten Minahasa Utara.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah solidaritas sosial petani sayuran di kelurahan Rurukan di Lingkungan 1, Kecamatan Tomohon Timur, Kota Tomohon. Dengan fokus penelitian solidaritas sosial petani sayuran dikelurahan Rurukan Kelurahan 1 Kecamatan Tomohon Timur Kota Tomohon. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Solidaritas Emile Durkheim (1858). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan observasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami dan mendeskripsikan bentuk solidaritas sosial petani sayuran di Kecamatan Rurukan dilingkungan 1 serta memahami faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan mendukungnya. Proses solidaritas sosial petani sayuran di Kecamatan Rurukan di dilingkungan 1 Kecamatan Tomohon Timur Kota Tomohon. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah komunitas petani sayuran Rurukan di Lingkungan 1 masih merupakan bentuk solidaritas mekanik karena terlihat bahwa solidaritas sosial petani sayuran di Kecamatan Rurukan Lingkungan 1 adalah gotong royong, persatuan, persatuan, gotong royong. sesama, saling membantu, mempunyai rasa kekeluargaan dan kepercayaan antar petani sayur. Faktor pendukung Solidaritas adalah tempat pertukaran pengetahuan tentang cara menanam dan cara pemupukan yang baik dan benar. Faktor penghambat yang dialami kelompok tani sayuran adalah pada hari biasa ada beberapa petani yang tidak bisa berpartisipasi, menggunakan alat yang modern, hubungan internal antar petani, mempekerjakan tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Etnis Nias ini adalah mahasiswa yang merantau untuk melanjutkan studi di perguruan tinggi yaitu di Universitas Negeri Manado, mahasiswa Etnis Nias tiba di Manado di hadapkan dengan berbagai perbedaan mulai dari segi bahasa, dan budaya. Mereka juga di tuntut untuk bisa beradaptasi kepada masyarakat lokal yang ada di Manado tepatnya di daerah Minahasa Tondano Selatan. Penelitian ini mengkaji adaptasi mahasiswa Etnis Nias di Kelurahan Perum Maesa Unima untuk memahami proses integrasi mereka dalam lingkungan sosial baru. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada tantangan yang di hadapi dan strategi yang di terapkan oleh mahasiswa Etnis Nias dalam beradaptasi dengan budaya lokal. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Etnis Nias mengalami berbagai tantangan dalam proses adaptasi sosial mereka di Kelurahan Maesa. Beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi adaptasi sosial termasuk budaya, bahasa, norma-norma sosial, dari lingkungan sekitar. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan tersebut, mahasiswa Nias menunjukkan kemampuan adaptasi yang signifikan melalui strategi-strategi seperti berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosial dan budaya, dan belajar bahasa sehari-hari yang sering di gunakan oleh masyarakat di kelurahan Perum Maesa Unima. Selain itu dukungan dari teman sesama orang Nias dan senior-senior orang Nias yang kuliah di sini juga memainkan peran penting dalam proses adaptasi mahasiswa Etnis Nias, Dimana mereka membantu mengajari Bahasa-bahasa yang tidak di mengerti, mengajari agar bisa berperilaku baik terhadap Masyarakat sekitar dan mengajari agar selalu menghargai budaya yang berbeda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi Karang Taruna terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat di Desa Mangkit, Kecamatan Belang, Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan observasi. Tahapan analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Karang Taruna melalui kegiatan budidaya ikan bobara memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat setempat. Pemerintah desa telah mengalokasikan dana desa sebesar 20 juta rupiah untuk tahun 2023 dan 2024 guna mendukung program ini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, kepedulian sosial, dan kemajuan ekonomi masyarakat desa serta warga Karang Taruna. Meskipun demikian, masih diperlukan arahan lebih lanjut dalam rangka melaksanakan tugas pokok dan tanggung jawab organisasi. Pemerintah desa dan Karang Taruna bermaksud untuk bekerja sama dalam jangka panjang guna mengembangkan potensi desa, termasuk industri pariwisata dan sumber daya lainnya, guna mewujudkan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to sociologically analyze the dynamics of juvenile delinquency in Pandu Village, Manado, by situating the phenomenon within the broader structure of social relations that shape adolescents’ lives. Drawing on social control theory and the concept of collective efficacy, this research employs a qualitative case study design to examine how informal social institutions regulate deviant behavior. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and field observations and were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of social interaction influencing adolescent behavior. The findings indicate that juvenile delinquency cannot be understood merely as an individual problem, but rather as a reflection of the configuration of local social structures. Three major findings emerged. First, strengthened family-based social control—through emotional attachment, open communication, and moral exemplification—serves as the primary protective mechanism. Second, the institutionalization of religious values functions as a moral foundation within the community, reinforcing the legitimacy of social norms. Third, local social cohesion fosters collective supervision, thereby limiting opportunities for anonymity and deviant conduct. The integration of these three dimensions forms a relatively stable and resilient informal social control system against delinquency risks. This study reinforces the relevance of social control theory and collective efficacy within the context of local Indonesian communities. Practically, the findings suggest that preventing juvenile delinquency is more effective when focusing on strengthening family institutions, revitalizing religious participation, and enhancing community solidarity rather than relying solely on punitive approaches. However, this study is limited to a single-site qualitative case; therefore, future research employing comparative or mixed-method designs is recommended to test the consistency of these findings across different social contexts, including communities with higher levels of urbanization and social disorganization.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Al-Qur'an recitation activities in the moral development of adolescents in Maabholu Village using a descriptive qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation were used to obtain the following results: data collection on congregations and guidance teachers, facilities and infrastructure, activities during recitation sessions, and the annual program of the Al-Akbar Mosque Recitation Institution. In overcoming the obstacles faced by the study group administrators in shaping the morals of adolescents, they provide guidance to adolescents through examples such as lectures, providing examples of positive activities, providing knowledge about religion, and increasing activities related to da'wah (proselytizing). The types of activities for shaping the morals of youth at the Al-Akbar Religious Institute include recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an, recitation of Yasin, tahlil, zikir, and 10-minute lecture practice. The inhibiting factors are the low attendance of teenagers, lack of motivation from parents, and the development of technology and communication media, especially gadgets and the internet, which prevent teenagers from fully absorbing the material. Talking during the recitation. The character building of teenagers implemented at the Al-Akbar Mosque Institute includes the story method, the mauidzah (advice) method, the caramah method, and the question and answer method.

Abstract

This study examines the socio-cultural adaptation process of Muna students in campus life at Universitas Negeri Manado. As migrant students, Muna students arrive with relatively homogeneous cultural backgrounds, strong religious values, and social habits that differ from the multicultural campus environment. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal three main themes. First, the decision to pursue higher education outside their home region is driven by family encouragement, the desire to broaden knowledge, and the motivation to gain cross-cultural experiences. Second, students experience cultural shock during the early stages of university life, particularly related to language differences, communication styles, and patterns of social interaction. However, these challenges are temporary and gradually diminish through increased social engagement. Third, the adaptation process occurs through identity negotiation, in which students adopt selective adaptation strategies by maintaining their cultural values while adjusting to the new environment. The study concludes that migrant student adaptation is a dynamic process that does not lead to full assimilation but rather to the formation of a hybrid identity, enabling students to function socially in a multicultural setting without losing their cultural roots. These findings highlight the importance of institutional support from universities in fostering social integration and cultural diversity on campus.

Abstract

Changes in family structure and function resulting from prolonged conflict, economic hardship, and parental separation are often associated with increased vulnerability to juvenile delinquency. However, this relationship is not deterministic and is significantly shaped by broader community dynamics. This study aims to examine how community moral solidarity mediates adolescents’ experiences of family disruption in Talete Satu Village, Tomohon Tengah District. The research employs a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design grounded in an interpretive paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 13 adolescents from 8 families, complemented by 6 community informants and contextual observations. First, family disruption generates ambivalent emotional regulation among adolescents, manifested in feelings of insecurity, loneliness, and occasional rebellious behavior, though not necessarily leading to deviance. Second, adolescents demonstrate differentiated responses to family conditions, with some engaging in risk behaviors while others develop adaptive coping strategies through social and religious participation. Third, community moral solidarity functions as an informal social control mechanism by providing normative support, social monitoring, and collective expectations that shape adolescents’ behavioral orientations. These findings suggest that family disruption alone does not determine juvenile delinquency. Rather, the interaction between familial experiences and the structure of community moral solidarity shapes behavioral outcomes.
