Abstract

The Pinrang - Polewali Mandar road section where the condition is currently experiencing damage at several points caused by the growth of passing vehicles is quite high with excess excess. Based on this incident, the purpose of this study was to determine the proportion of the effect of VDF caused by excess to the effect on the Pinrang - Polewali Mandar axis road. The data used using secondary data in the form of actual vehicle weight data from the Paku weighbridge and LHR. then the proportion of the VDF value is excess by using the Bina Marga method (1990). The time was carried out in May 2022. The results showed that the damage capacity of vehicles crossing the Pinrang – Polewali Mandar axis due to excess overload or VDF overload was 202,497,876 VDF and the actual VDF value in the field was 10.21%, meaning that the excess overload on heavy vehicles can affect the value of VDF. This is because the increase in charge increases, the total of the additions causes an increase in the value of VDF. So it can be the cause of road damage.

Abstract

Roads are important infrastructure in transportation that can affect the progress of the economic, social, cultural and political fields in a region. However, in some cases the planned age of the road is not in accordance with what is happening in the field. Often the condition of the road is already damaged before the service period expires. Severe road damage is not uncommon, especially in the Pinrang axle road area, Tiroang District. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of damage found on the surface layer of the Pinrang axle road, Tiroang District and to find out more effective handling methods, as well as determine the effectiveness of assessing road damage using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. From the results of data processing we get the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) value for the Pinrang axis road, Tiroang sub-district is 37.63. From the Povement Condition Index (PCI) value obtained, the road segment is classified as poor (Poor) and based on the results of the pavement condition classification, this road section is included in the routine maintenance program as a proposed handling. Of all the types of damage that occurred, we know that the biggest damage is the damage to holes (potholes) with an area of 1283.33 m2 (51%). The possible cause of this damage is caused by repeated traffic loads, this happens because vehicles (trucks) that carry material products that cross the road are often overloaded.

Abstract

The increasing number of building fires in Indonesia every year especially in big cities is the reference for this research. Where this can affect every construction including the existing concrete structure in the building. The purpose of this study will be to discuss color changes, physical and strength as well as the percentage decrease in concrete compressive strength due to high temperatures after 1, 2, and 4 hours of combustion. Using an experimental method of post-combustion concrete compressive strength and tested when the concrete age reaches 28 days which was carried out in September-December 2021. The results of this study showed that the quality of the concrete was 25 MPa with a combustion duration of 1, 2, and 4 hours, respectively. – reached temperatures of 190°C, 300°C, and 410°C, respectively, resulting in average compressive strength of 21.7 MPa, 18.3 MPa, and 13.2 MPa, causing a percentage decrease in compressive strength of up to 19.3%, 31,9%, and 50.9%. The color changed which was initially grayish white to yellowish white then brownish gray to blackish, and the normal surface experienced fine, rough cracks to peeling at the corners.

Abstract

Faktor yang menyebabkan kecelakaan dijalan raya yaitu manusia atau pengendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristrik pengendara dan hubungan perilaku pengendara terhadap kecelakaan lalulintas yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Barru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang merupakan metode penelitian yang banyak menuntut penggunaan angka, mulai dari pengumpulan data, penafsiran terhadap data tersebut, Populasi yang diambil sebanyak 405 responden. Kemudian data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis data SPSS 25. Dari hasil analisis karakteristik data adalah jenis kelamin laki-laki 59,1% dan perempuan 40,9 % dengan kepemilikan SIM C 48%, SIM A 34%, SIM B 18% dan SIM D (disabilitas) 0%, adapun responden dengan kepemilikan SIM ganda yaitu sebanyak 144 dari total responden serta usia 17 – 25 tahun dengan presentase 68,6% diikuti usia 26 - 45 tahun dengan presentase sebanyak 27,2% dan usia 45 – 65 tahun memiliki presentase sebanyak 4,2%. Dari pengolahan data hubungan perilaku pengendara terhadap kecelakaan lalulintas memperlihatkan hasil uji korelasi yaitu nilai Pearson Correlation R (koefisien Korelasi) sebesar 0,777 yang berarti tingkat hubungan antara pelanggaran ringan (X1) dan pelanggaran agresif (X2) terhadap keselamatan berkendara (Y) secara simultan memiliki hubungan korelasi yang kuat.

Abstract

Waterpark Matua is one of the land use objectives that can generate development attraction as a water recreation destination that offers the potential attraction of a beautiful natural panorama because it offers a view consisting of plantations and rocky hills surrounding the tourist area so that it has a beautiful and exotic photo spot. This study aims to determine the characteristics of visitors, what factors affect the attractiveness of visitors, and the growth rate factor of future visitor attraction using the furness method. This research was conducted for 2 months with questionnaire data collection, and processed using the SPSS 24 application. The results showed that the characteristics of visitors according to gender showed that most visitors were female based on a percentage of 66%, age 11-20 years with a percentage of 38%, most visitors from the Alla, Anggeraja, Curio districts with a percentage level of 38%, Students with a percentage level of 47%, the most visitors' transportation mode is motorbike with a percentage level of 70% and the movement attraction model with multiple linear regression analysis method is Y = 2.839 + 0.340 (x1) - 0.473 (x2) + 0.196 (x3) - 0.228 (x5) + 0.190 (x9) + 0.419 (x12). Factors that influence the occurrence of attraction are variables of home distance (x1), transport costs (x2), length of travel time (x3), destination to tourist attractions (x5), food prices (x9), and building conditions (x12). The growth rate factor from the analysis results using the Furness method obtained a growth factor value of Ed = 0.9897 which has met the requirements of the error tolerance limit, with an expected visitor attraction value of Dd = 3214.

Abstract

Road construction using aggregates. In Pinrang, the material used to make samples was brick ash. The aim of this research is to determine the aggregate properties and aggregate compatibility of AC-WC dan AC-BC asphalt concrete mixtures based on general specifications from Marga Buildings in 2018. This study, which was carried out in the laboratory from August to October 2023, used an experimental approach. According to the research results, the AC-WC dan AC-BC stability value obtained from adding 5% brick ash content with 5% asphalt content was 1975.31 kilograms and 6% asphalt content was 2995.74 kilograms. The MQ value is 833.46 Kg/mm 5%, and 6% 1109.53 Kg/mm, while the stability value obtained by adding 6% brick ash content with 5% asphalt content is 1564.59 kilograms and 6% asphalt content is 2399 .03 kilograms. The MQ value is 665.78 Kg/mm for 5% and 6% 891.83. The AC-BC stability value obtained from 5% brick ash with 5% asphalt content is 2023 ki.29 kilograms and 6% The large asphalt content is 2018.77 kilograms, the resulting MQ value is 613.12 from 5% and 6% is 531.25. The stability value resulting from the addition of 6% brick ash with 5% asphalt content is 1118.02 kilograms and 6% is 1122 .54 and the resulting MQ values were 272.69 from 5%, 267.27 from 6%. From the results of this research, the addition of 6% brick ash can reduce the stability of AC-WC and AC-BC, in contrast to 5% brick ash increasing stability.

Abstract

Barru Regency is a coastal area with abundant potential for Wahede beach sand, which can be used to make economical concrete. This research aims to determine the compressive and tensile strength values of concrete as well as the optimal percentage of the beach sand mixture. The research was carried out at the Structure and Materials Laboratory of the Muhammadiyah University of Parepare, with a planned compressive strength of 20 MPa.The results of research on normal concrete compressive strength at 7 days were 12.27 MPa, 14 days 13.97 MPa, and 28 days 20.29 MPa. Variation: 25%; compressive strength: 7 days 13.58 MPa, 14 days 15.85 MPa, and 28 days 21.89 MPa. Variation 50%, compressive strength 7 days 14.34 MPa, 14 days 18.68 MPa, and 28 days 22.08 MPa. 100% variation, compressive strength: 7 days 14.72 MPa, 14 days 19.34 MPa, and 28 days 25.48 MPa. The split tensile strength of concrete decreases with an increasing percentage of beach sand: normal 28-day concrete 7,852 MPa, 25% variation 6,222 MPa, 50% variation 6,963 MPa, and 100% variation 8,000 MPa

Abstract

According to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Indonesian people produce 0.8 kg of waste per person per day, of which 15% is plastic waste or equivalent to 189,444,000 tons of waste per day 8, Therefore, the amount of waste must be proportional to the proportion of waste processed and the rest must not be disposed of and pollute the environment. The types of plastics used in this study were Polypropylene (PP) Plastic and High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plastic. The purpose of this study was Determination of Melshell performance in AC- WC asphalt mixture without the addition of polypropylene (PP) plastic and high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE). The research method used was experimental with variations of 2%, 4%, and 6%, from the weight of KAO asphalt. Marshall comparison results AC-WC asphalt using polypropylene (PP) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) resins, with only VMA and MQ stable values meeting the 2018 Development Specifications while VFA, VIM and FLOW do not meet the specifications

Abstract

Development study of the planning strategy of the Lumpue Beach tourism area located in Parepare City, South Sulawesi. The main focus of the study is to identify existing attractions, infrastructure conditions, and apply development planning strategies with a SWOT approach. Lumpue Beach is a coastal area that has interesting ecological and aesthetic values, but has not been exploited as a tourist destination. The approach used in this study is qualitative descriptive, which is complemented by quantitative data obtained through surveys, interviews, secondary as well as primary data from the concerned institutions. The analysis shows that Lumpue Beach has great potential with its ecological, natural beauty, local culture, and easy access. Its notable weaknesses include: lack of supporting facilities, environmental cleanliness, and absence of government and private sector coordination to plan the development of the area. As for the opportunity for increased interest in marine tourism, as a strategic area of Parepare City, there is also the support of local tourism agencies, such as Pokdarwis. Then the threats that must be addressed, including: environmental pollution and exploitation of areas there is no coordination of government and private parties. of this study include the sustainable and integrated development of Pipda and the urban spatial plan of Parepare, the improvement of facilities and infrastructure, the involvement of local communities, as well as the promotion of Panatai Tourism destination through digital platforms. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the City government and stakeholders in planning sustainable Lumpue Beach tourism area development strategies integrated with Parepare municipal regulations.
