Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of chili price volatility on the income of Fajar Amanas Farmers Group, Biau Village, Io Kufeu District, Malaka Regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method and its implementation uses interview and documentation techniques. The research location chosen is the Fajar Amanas Farmers Group located in Biau Village, Io Kufeu District, Malaka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. The results of the study showed that the total cost of chili cultivation was Rp6,776,000 with a total production per month of 200 kilograms, with a total price of Rp100,000 per kilogram, the total income was Rp20,000,000, with a total income of Rp13,224,000.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess and measure the source of APBN funding for the 2023 Labor-Intensive Rural Sanitation Program implemented by the government on the level of stunting in Manutapen Subdistrict, Alak District, Kupang City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection used was interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that APBN funding for the labor-intensive rural sanitation program in Manutapen Subdistrict, Alak District, Kupang City for the year 2023 for stunting prevention in Kupang City is still low, namely with a value of 1.23 compared to the threat which is quite high with a value of 1.6, so it will not get a significant value. Eradicating poverty and healthy lifestyles is one way to overcome stunting so that people can get a decent life by fulfilling economic needs according to standards.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of health insurance and micro-credit in overcoming the impact of health shocks on household consumption in Kupang City. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with BPJS Kesehatan, Obor Mas Savings and Loans Cooperative, and beneficiary communities. The results of the study indicate that health insurance significantly reduces the financial burden due to health problems, while micro-credit provides alternative financing solutions that maintain the stability of household consumption. These findings emphasize the importance of synergy between health insurance and microfinance access to improve household economic resilience in facing health risks.
