The welfare of the farming community is a noble ideal that must be instilled in relation to all activities in society. Lunjen Village, is a village in Enrekang Regency where the majority of the population earns income from agriculture. Agricultural zakat is one of the obligations that must be fulfilled but the partisipation in implementing agricultural zakat is considered to be very lacking in almost all regions. This study aims to see how the awareness of farmers in Lunjen Village in paying agricultural zakat and its relation to the welfare of farmers in terms of the benefits of agricultural zakat on farmers. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with Likkert Scale calculations and Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) analysis, then analyzed to see the benefits that can be felt if farmers routinely pay agricultural zakat. The results of this study found that the level of awareness of farmers is in the high category (61.67%) and the factors that have a positive and significant effect on farmers' awareness are the age factor with a Tcount of 4.322, the education level factor with a Tcount of 5.915 while the income level factor has an effect on negative and significant with a Tcount of -2.307. There are benefits that can be felt by farmers if they routinely pay agricultural zakat, namely that they can achieve farmer welfare, and economic development.

Shallots are a type of horticultural plant that is widely cultivated and used as a source of livelihood by the people of Enrekang Regency. Shallot cultivation has challenges in the form of controlling attacks by plant-disturbing organisms (OPT) which require a large amount of money and if it is not carried out, there is a risk of reducing production yields and even causing crop failure. This study aims to determine the effect of using LED lights as pest traps on the income of shallot farmers in Kolai Village, Malua District, Enrekang Regency. The method was used to compare the income of shallot farmers before and after using LED lights. The analytical method used in this study was a non-parametric test using the paired test and using the statistical analysis tool statistical product and service solution (SPSS). The results showed that the use of LED lights in shallot fields had a significant effect on the income of shallot farmers with a significance value (Asym. Sig. (2-tailed)) < 0.05. The results of this study indicate that the use of LED lights can be used as a solution to control pests while reducing the cost of shallot production.

Uncontrolled conversion of agricultural land remains a serious problem in agricultural development, not only in urban areas but also in rural areas. The conversion of agricultural land often impacts the socio-economic life of farmers, especially income. One form of agricultural land conversion currently widely practiced is converting agricultural land into tourist sites. This research aims to determine the impact of the existence of the Civil Camp Karangan tourist attraction on the income of farmers who change land functions. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. The Paired sample T-test analysis was used to determine the difference in farmers' income before and after the conversion of agricultural land. The results showed a calculated T value of 7,000> 2.57 T table value. It showed a difference in farmers' income before and after converting agricultural land into a tourist attraction. Thus, efforts are needed to improve the quality of the Civil Camp Karangan tourist attraction so that it still has economic benefits for the community around the location, especially farmers.

Agricultural waste becomes a major post-harvest problem if not processed correctly. Post-harvest agricultural waste processing into biochar can be the right post-harvest handling solution and can be used to improve soil nutrient structure. This study aimed to determine the use of agricultural waste biochar to increase shallot production. This study was in the form of an experiment using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with treatments including rice husk biochar (BSP), corn cob biochar (BTJ), coconut shell biochar (BCK), rice husk biochar + corn cob biochar (BSP + BTJ), rice husk biochar + coconut shell biochar (BSP + BCK), corn cob biochar + coconut shell biochar (BTJ + BCK), and rice husk biochar + corn cob biochar + coconut shell biochar (BSP + BTJ + BCK). The results showed that using rice husk biochar, corn cob, and coconut shell individually or in combination could increase shallot production. The highest output of shallots was demonstrated in the treatment of rice husk biochar + corn cob biochar + coconut shell biochar.

ABSTRAK Potensi pengembangan lada di Kabupaten Enrekang cukup besar mengingat kondisi geografis Kabupaten Enrekang dan masih banyaknya petani yang membudidayakan lada di Kabupaten Enrekang. Potensi lada tersebut berjalan sejajar dengan banyaknya faktor produksi yang harus dipenuhi sehingga pendapatan petani lada yang hanya bisa diperoleh sekali dalam setahun menjadi sesuatu yang dianggap masih jauh dari kata mampu memberikan kesejahteraan terhadap petani. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan usaha tani budidaya lada di Kecamatan Curio ditinjau dari segi pendapatan yang dikomparasikan dengan biaya selama proses budidaya hingga lada tersebut siap untuk dipasarkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis kelayakan R/C Ratio dimana jika nilai R/C Ratio > 1 maka usaha tani tersebut layak untuk dijalankan begitupun sebaliknya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Curio dengan membandingkan total rata-rata pendapatan petani dengan total rata-rata biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan petani ditemukan bahwa usaha tani lada di Kecamatan Curio layak untuk diusahakan karena Memiliki Nilai R/C Ratio > 1 yaitu 3.92 pada tahun 2017, 3.44 pada tahun 2018, 3.35 pada tahun 2019, 3.65 pada tahun 2020, dan 3.57 pada tahun 2020. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah budidaya lada di Kec Curio layak untuk diusahakan dan perlu untuk dikembangkan. ABSTRACT The potential for developing pepper in Enrekang Regency is quite large considering the geographical conditions of Enrekang Regency and there are still many farmers cultivating pepper in Enrekang Regency. The potential for pepper goes hand in hand with the many factors of production that must be met so that the income of pepper farmers which can only be obtained once a year is something that is considered far from being able to provide welfare to farmers. This research was conducted to find out the feasibility of pepper cultivation farming in Curio District in terms of income compared to costs during the cultivation process until the pepper is ready to be marketed. The method used in this study is the feasibility analysis method of R/C Ratio where if the value of R/C Ratio > 1 then the farming is feasible to run and vice versa. Based on the results of research conducted in Curio District by comparing the total average income of farmers with the total average production costs incurred by farmers, it was found that pepper farming in Curio District is feasible to cultivate because it has an R/C Ratio value of > 1, namely 3.92 in 2017, 3.44 in 2018, 3.35 in 2019, 3.65 in 2020, and 3.57 in 2020. The conclusion of this study is that pepper cultivation in Curio District is feasible and needs to be developed.

The demand in both the domestic and international markets for chili commodities in the future is expected to increase along with the rising population and income levels, which can impact the income of chili farming and ultimately affect household income. This research aims to analyze the impact of planting bird's eye chili on the rice field bunds on the household income of farmers. This study employs a quantitative method to understand whether and how the additional income from bird's eye chili can enhance the total income of farmers' households. The results of this study indicate that planting bird's eye chili can provide an additional source of income for farmers, thereby increasing their total income. The research results show that the average profit received by chili farming on the rice field embankments is Rp. 1,080,000 per year. Based on the business feasibility calculations, the R/C ratio obtained is 3.9. It can be concluded that chili farming in the rice fields of Benteng Village, Patampanua District, Pinrang Regency is feasible for development.

Desa Eran Batu Kabupaten Enrekang berada di daerah lereng gunung yang memiliki iklim yang dingin, kondisi ini menjadikan Desa tersebut berpotensi untuk menghasilkan produk pertanian yang cocok seperti sayuran dan buah-buahan seperti stoberi. Sifat produk pertanian yang mudah rusak juga dimiliki oleh stoberi sehingga dibutuhkan olahan lanjutan untuk mempertahankan mutu dari stroberi itu sendiri. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pentingya membuat olahan produk pertanian agar produk tersebut lebih tahan lama dan dapat di jangkau oleh pasar luas. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bersama kelompok wanita tani Desa Eran Batu. Kegiatan ini berhasil menciptakan inovasi olahan stroberi berupa Stroberi Cheese Milk yang memiliki dayak tarik tersendiri dan menjadi produk baru yang dapat di pasarkan masyarakat Desa Eran Batu Kabupaten Enrekang

Perkembangan ekonomi kerakyatan menjadi perhatian utama di era modern. Ekonomi kerakyatan tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi perekonomian rumah tangga, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan ekonomi nasional. Salah satu bentuk pengembangan ekonomi kerakyatan adalah melalui kegiatan home industry, di mana budidaya jamur tiram menjadi salah satu pilihan yang menjanjikan. Meskipun jamur tiram memiliki potensi gizi dan manfaat yang tinggi, harga jualnya masih rendah sehingga menjadi tantangan dalam bisnis. Oleh karena itu, pelaku home industry mulai mengembangkan berbagai produk olahan jamur tiram seperti keripik, nugget, sosis, bakso, dan burger jamur tiram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana kelayakan dan peluang usaha jamur tiram frozen sehingga dapat menunjang dalam pengembangan usaha budidaya jamur tiram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis kelayakan R/C Ratio untuk mengetahui kelayakan suatu usaha dan analisis skala likert untuk mengetahui bagaimana peluang usaha jamur tiram frozen di kota parepare. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha ini layak untuk dikembangkan, dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1.72. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan analisis, peluang usaha budidaya jamur tiram di Kota Parepare terbuka lebar dan memiliki potensi yang baik. Namun, diperlukan upaya promosi lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang produk olahan jamur tiram dan potensi bisnis budidaya jamur tiram. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi masyarakat kota Parepare yang ingin memulai bisnis, sehingga menjadikan usaha jamur tiram sebagai bisnis yang memiliki potensi yang baik.

AbstrakKoperasi Lolit Tungro merupakan salah satu koperasi yang bergerak di bidang pengembangan agribisnis pedesaan. Koperasi Lolit Tungro senantiasa berupaya untuk mensejahterakan anggota dan petani melalui berbagai strategi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Srategi yang digunakan oleh koperasi Lolit Tungro untuk meningkatkan produktivitas petani yang diharapkan berimbas pada perbaikan perekonomian petani. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif-interaktif yang menekankan pada pendalaman bahan kajian kepada objek penelitian. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan proses reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh strategi koperasi Lolit Tungro dalam mendukung pertanian yaitu: Peningkatan Kapasitas Anggota, Pengembagan usaha anggota, dan peningkatan kesejahteraan anggota.Kata Kunci: Koperasi, strategi, ekonomi.AbstractLolit Tungro Cooperative is a rural agribusiness co-op working to improve the lives of farmers and members. This study looks into the strategies they use to help farmers boost their productivity and, in turn, their economic situation. Using a qualitative-interactive approach, we delved deep into the cooperative's operations. Our findings show that Lolit Tungro focuses on three main strategies: enhancing members' skills, growing their businesses, and improving their overall well-being.Keywords: Cooperative, strategy, economy.
